Been waiting on putting something on here in hopes that this location will start showing improvements. Today though kinda broke the proverbial camels back. This is my "go to" breakfast place when I go into the office. I have my order queued up on the app and hit send when I am 10-15 minutes so that my order will be ready when I arrive. Many times when doing this it will take an extra 5-10 minutes or so for my order to still be complete, which happens, these places get really busy in the morning. Today however, my order was not ready until almost 40 minutes (38 to be exact, I was watching) after I submitted my order on the app and had confirmation my order was sent and paid for. To make matters worse, many people were walking in and ordering after I walked in (15 minutes after I ordered) and were getting their orders before I received mine. I actually had to ask if they received my order and make sure it was not stolen from the pick up rack (it was still there waiting to be completed). Another customer had to ask about her online order as well because of the time it was taking to receive their order. This is really sad as this location used to be absolutely top notch, but has really gone down hill as of late. Hopefully things will turn around. read more

Amazing service, the staff helped me with a situation where someone took my order in a caring and empathetic way.

Poorly managed, clearly. When you have 6-7 customers waiting in line to place an order for nearly 10 mins, there is no cashier at the counter and yet there are 4 employees behind the counter and not one of them, including the manager, acknowledge the waiting customers, that to me is taking your business for granted. Step it up Mr/Ms manager. It is really not that hard to say sorry for the wait or we will be right with you. Business protocol aside, that is just plain courtesy. read more

Bagel egg sandwich was not cut in half as ordered. Ask for them to cut it in half. They refused. Argumentative staff. Used to be a 10+ years weekly customer up until 6 months ago. It's been about 6 months since I last tried a breakfast bagel at this place. The last time didn't go so well at this location. I decided to give them another try. Sadly I can't say I will be back. I arrived at about 7:40 and placed an order for for an All-Nighter Egg Sandwich and a Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich. There was one person in front of me. While I waited I noticed a guy standing at the counter waiting for his order and then overheard him say that he had been waiting 12 minutes for his order. The girl behind the counter apologized to him saying she was handling the online order. He replied, you mean the order that came in 5 minutes after you took my order. She said, "I forgot your order, what do you want me to do" to which he replied... "make my bagel." Then 16 minutes later I approached the counter and asked about my order and the same lady said, "I'm sorry, I was wondering why you kept staring over here, I'll make it now". Three minutes later I got my order. I don't have a whole 20 minutes to wait for an easy breakfast sandwich. The other issue is that this location never cuts your bagels in half. All the other Einstein locations do. I wish I could support them, but they have shown their incompetency far too many times. I vote a big ZERO for this Einstein location. read more

Wow, what a huge disappointment that was. Everything from start to finish was a complete fail. Walking in to screaming children that neither parents or staff was asked to quiet so that I could complete my transaction, missing items in a to go order that were paid for, the greasiest most inedible brisket bagel to the completely disintegrating hash brown this place is a total joke. I know this is a bagel shop. However, I come here for the coffee. They brew Caribou. Every cup is consistent. This location has a vanilla hazelnut flavored housemade coffee cream. It's soooo good. If you like the fancier bagels then you will need to get there early. read more

Horrible is the one word I would use to describe the food and service! Their app has no place to customize the orders (to add/remove ingredients). I ordered curbside pick up but no one answered the phone when I called from the parking lot...btw, you have to go thru automated, pick-up unrelated instructions before you can (or not) connect with a team member. So I had to walk in for my curbside pick up. Thankfully the order was ready. They did not close the coffee cup lid properly so it got knocked off and coffee spilled in my car as I was putting it in the cup holder. The garden breakfast sandwich looked pathetic, no color on the sesame seeds, totally underbaked. The bagel had no texture, it was like unfermented raw dough, no flavor, no seasoning, no sign of guac. The twice baked hashed brown stuck to the paper cup with oil oozing out; impossible to eat. None of the food remotely looked like what they show in their ads. Sooo disappointed! I LOVE bagels, there use to be an Einstein's next to my high school and I would stop by at least once a week to grab a toasted bagel before school! This location doesn't have a drive through, but that's okay walking into the shop and smelling the bagels makes up for it! I took a while to decide because I haven.'to been to Einstein's in a while and they had new schmear and bagel flavors. What I recommend is pick a bagel hat you like and pick a schmear make sure you asked for you bagel toasted, trust me toasting your bagel makes a world of a difference! My combos always depending on how I'm feeling: 1. Plain bagel (toasted) with plain schmear 2. Cinnamon sugar bagel (toasted) with honey almond schmear 3. Asiago bagel with plain schmear. They gave half off drinks from 3-closing I believe! Even though I took a while to decided the staff was very kind and helpful! read more

I came to this store because the one I usually go to in flower Mound was closed today. I put my ordered through Mobil APP and choose curbside pickup. I arrived at in the curbside space for over 10 minutes with no one checking on me. I checked in through app and called the store but the phones said they were busy attending other customers. The store was empty. Other associates came out looked at me at walked to their cars going home. When I finally went inside I was greeted with we're closing soon. Still about an hour away. I told her I had an order and was waiting outside. She had no orders and said I was at the wrong store. After showing her my confirmation she noticed my order was sitting cold on the side. No apologies, ni thank you. I will continue to visit Einstein Brothers but never this location ever again. read more

This location is top-notch. In these Covid times, they make sure everything is spaced out on the inside for take-out, and they have curbside service on the outside. The staff here always takes care of me quickly. Cashier, Prince H. is jovial and helpful. He is one of those customer service people that puts a smile on everyone's face. With a name like Prince, the pressure is on to bring it, and he he certainly does. I look for him every time I come in. read more

This is really just for this location. Man, the service is terrible. I ordered a bagel with schmear, but then decided on a specialty coffee as well. My bagel was ready but I did not see anyone preparing my coffee for me. This is after waiting for my bagel for 15 minutes already. I asked them for a regular cup to grab drip coffee since I had waited too long for my drink already. No apologizes or anything, they just handed me a cup so i could take coffee to go. I've been eating here for late breakfast/early lunch quite a bit as of late and I've enjoyed every experience thus far. The kids behind the counter are young, but always sweet, helpful and polite. For a quick bagel fix this place always does the trick. Try their new French Toast, it's a cinnamon raisin bagel with egg, cheddar cheese, syrup and bacon, perfect sweet and salty morning combo and quite filling, if you're really hungry you can have the option to add an extra egg. read more

I got lost looking for another establishment so I decided to pop in here. I asked if they had free wifi so I could get some work done. Not only did they have wifi, but they had coffee and bagels, too. Sounds like a home run, right? Wrong! The coffee reminded me of the AM PM coffee I used to drink back during my college days in LA. It didn't taste like quality brew at all - not that I was expecting top of the line. I also ordered a plain bagel and it didn't taste fresh. There was also way too much cream cheese which was probably my fault. I should've told them light cream cheese but I forgot. Oh, and about that wifi, good luck. I have been coming here since the place opened just over a year ago. I come here for coffee almost every morning because it is the only place open at 5am. My biggest problem with the place is the cleanliness, or lack thereof. The bathrooms are rarely cleaned, and today we noticed small ants crawling on the counter top where the coffee is served. Not good. There are almost always crumbs on the floor when I arrive in the morning. So, they are not cleaning the place every evening after they close. I have emailed corporate about the problems, but no response. And, it is not just this store, the store in Lewisville is even worse, so it is an area problem. The employees are pleasant, so I think the problem is with management. Another issue is the free Wi-Fi. When it works, it works well. But on at least three occasions in the past year, the Wi-Fi has "gone down". And, when it does, it takes WEEKS for them to get it fixed. I have been forced to go to the McDonalds nearby just so I can get my morning work done. I have been to Einstein's in other parts of the country and have found them to be clean and professionally managed (Colorado for example). So, I suspect it is an area issue. read more

I ordered 3 bagels, all three slices and two toasted. Told the lady they didn't toast my two bagels she said I didn't order it that way and she got an attitude with me. I don't understand what happen to customers service, I know it may not to the ideal job she wanted but to tell the customers he's wrong doesn't seat well with me. Went there for breakfast today. Got a asigo and plain bagel with a latte coffee. I noticed that the cofee tasted wierd and spoke to the server. She did not bother to check if The coffee was good or not. She just said i used the same milk thats on the counter and started talking to her colleague. Having heard about their new $6 Mondays deal, I knew I had to come in. A baker's dozen is usually ~$14 with shmear but if you only want bagels, then come in for the $6 baker's dozen on Monday! I usually use the app to order ahead but that wasn't working today so I went into the store on Denton Tap Road in Coppell. I placed my order at 9:29 and got it at 9:48. There were 2-3 people ahead of me in line, which was fine. The problem was that the staff seemed to be filling online orders before orders of people standing in the store. I saw three people out front and at least 2 people came from the back. But they didn't help get orders out. So not only did I not get my complimentary coffee from using the mobile app, I had to wait 20 minutes. Not great service!! read more

Incredible bagels at an extremely competitive price. I found myself returning to Einstein's morning after morning (literally) and was a big fan of sampling the wide variety of options they have to offer. Now that I have moved away from the area, and no longer have an Einstein's close by in my new hometown, I find my mornings a little less special. LOVE LOVE their shmears!!! I didn't come here to order food but to pick up some shmears to go. Their bagels here are quite good as well but they are best fresh, not so good anymore the next day. They come in a variety of flavors, each of which go very well with a particular shmear. However, the best part about coming to Einstein's are their shmears. My favorites are the garlic herb and honey almond. The garlic herb has such a delicious herby garlicky flavor, almost like making your bagel into garlic bread! The honey almond is subtle-y sweet with little almond pieces all in it. The best part about it is that these shmears are actually supposed to be much healthier than cream cheese! I love the vibe at this location. The manager and the young lady at the register seem to make customer service their top priority. The employees make me feel important and glad I chose Einstein Bagels instead of another breakfast spot. We have choices on where to go for breakfast and this place knows it and acknowledges that, so A BIG SHOUT OUT to the Denton Tap location in Coppell. Usually my service here is great. The male manager is very sweet and helpful and so are most of the employees. However, today I had a very negative experience. I wanted a plain bagel, but they told me they were too hot to slice, not telling me I could still get it, it just wouldn't be sliced. I asked the cashier how long it would be and the female manager snapped back an answer in a very irritated and rude tone. So I ordered a different one (that I didn't really want because I'm very picky). I got down to the register to pay, and asked the cashier for future reference if I could get the bagel and just slice it myself. She told me yes, and apologized for the confusion. She then offered to give me a free plain bagel as a kind gesture, that I gladly accepted. I did not ask for something for free, she offered it freely. As she went back to get it and passed that rude female manager, the manager snapped at her telling her she could not give me anything for free, so the poor cashier had to come back to me and apologize for not being able to follow through on what she had offered me. The female manager has no concept of customer service and clearly only cares about the bottom line. I have worked in a similar style restaurant, and to offer someone something for free and then take it back doesn't reflect very well. It was not the employees, but the manager that could have cared less about my experience at the restaurant. read more

I come to this Einstein's often as it's the only bagel shop close to where I live. It is the least efficient bagel shop/restaurant I've ever seen. I don't even understand how it can be so inefficient. A 4 person line takes 10 mins to get to the front. I've had to wait 20 mins for a bagel and cream cheese when the place was relatively empty. So you can imagine how long it takes on a Saturday morning when it's busy. I've been to other einsteins/Noah's bagels that have the process down, this one just doesn't. The food is on par with other Einstein's and is the best bagel shop in the area. Just be ready to be patient. Have tried this several times - staff is indifferent & cant listen to basic orders. For example, I have ordered a iced pumpkin muffin several times. The cashier acted confused when I said iced, so I pointed to it in the display case. When they called my name, they said "now did you want that iced?" What's the point of ordering and specifying if they don't listen and make you repeat it? A separate visit, I ordered a bagel (one bagel) with cream cheese on the side. I'm not sure if they have an absent manager, but it took over ten minutes. I finally asked to switch out my order because I didn't want to wait any longer. How long does it take to toast 1 bagel?
