Needed a last minute design for a farewell party for work the next day. It was 2:00PM and when I reached out to Eileen's, I sent them a picture via e-mail and they stated they could have the design done before they closed. First time ordering a design on the cookie, as it seems to be norm to order cakes. Yet, the girls who did the design had it look better than the example they were given. While other bakeries, request days to complete a custom order. Eileen's cookies not only did it same day, but did it hours before closing - couldn't ask for more. Not to mention - $20.00 for a large cookie with a design, is honestly cheaper than I expected. Will definitely consider them as an alternative to custom cakes in the near future. read more

I finally stopped in to buy some cookies. I have had the opportunity to enjoy Eileen's Colossal Cookies when our Community Relations Liasion brought some to our patients for our Veteran's Day Celebration. I loved the Frosted Sugar Cookie. I bought a dozen Monster Cookies (best Monster Cookie I've eaten) and a dozen Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. I also bought a single 4" frosted sugar cookie and a 4" peanut butter cookie. I love peanut butter cookies but Eileen's was not the best I've eaten. It actually lacked a deep and rich peanut butter flavor. I could taste the leavening agent. It was good, but not the best. That being said, the frosted sugar cookie (another of my favorites) was wonderful as are the Monster Cookies. The Chocolate Chips greatly improve the peanut butter cookie. These are not cookies you can dunk in milk or coffee because they will break up, yet they taste great if you drink milk or coffee with them. They do special orders - they do decorated cookies for occasions - they do cookie trays. Will I go back - YES Would I recommend - YES read more

The shop is so colorful! Every color of icing and sprinkles you can imagine. We popped in for a snow-day treat. The girls working were friendly and patient as we checked out our options. Ultimately, we got peanut butter chocolate chip, macadamia nut, sugar and sprinkles cookies. The unfrosted cookies were fresh and not too sweet. The lemony icing on the latter two was so good. The larger cookies are plenty to share and the smaller ones would be a perfect treat with a cup of coffee. I love this little local cookie store. The aroma of freshly baked cookies is the smell of heaven. Add on all the original and unique flavors-amazing. They have every cookie you could ever want. They have the originals like chocolate chip, mint, sugar, peanut butt and so much more but they also have unique flavors like double lemon, Kool-Aid, blue raspberry and lots others. They have cookie cakes that you can get decorated with whatever your heart desires. You can also get small cookies from 3-5 inches decorated as well!! The price range is amazing too. They have cookies from $1.25 to a dozen for $5.25. Can't beat that price! read more

I was turned on to Eileen's cookies by a co-worker that buys them by the truckload (slight exaggeration). I finally visited the store in Liberty this past week and was impressed with the variety and quality. The white chocolate macadamia cookie was totally legit and didn't even last till I got across the street to buy coffee. Next time in Liberty I will be stopping to take several home to enjoy with a big icy cold glass of 1% cow juice. read more

But what's even better, is when you find a place that has 13 different flavored cookies, add hundreds of decoration options, and you've entered the Eileen Colossal Cookie Zone. Eileen's is a franchisee cookie store, they do cookies, cookies and more cookies. I was gonna try and do a Forest Gump shrimp thing, but you get the point...this place knows cookies. It's worth it, a trip up north to Liberty, tucked in a strip mall is the sweet gem. My wife found the place on Friday, and the first 12 cookies lasted 4 hours, so I made the trek across 152 today and grabbed another dozen. They have cookies everywhere, all kinds of flavors and decorated, and they all look so good. There was a couple, 50ish that was so impressed with the decorated cookies, they had the employee take a picture of them with their purchase. I overheard her say, "I'm putting this on Facebook." The place is large, but has no seating at the location, but that may change over time, as there seems to be space for it. Special alert: They currently have a card, for $5, you can buy up to a dozen 4" cookies for half price. That's a great deal, but 12 is not enough. Please don't tell my wife, I actually bought an extra cookie for the ride home, plus I ordered a cookie cake that I have to pick up this Friday...Yikes...I have to admit...I love cookies If you love cookies, you'll soon be entering the Eileen Colossal Cookie Zone. read more

While the aroma and flavor of Eileen's is almost impossible to disappoint, you better get in and out before dealing with the awful customer service. You would think being employed at a cookie factory would be enjoyable but each employee acts as if any request is too much. Don't call ahead to order a couple cookies unless you want to be told it's a minimum call ahead of two hours. Typically there is always cookies fresh and ready to be sold but never ask questions about if they are available on the phone. The rude staff and management is the only thing that put a distaste in my mouth after visiting. I even had to talk myself out of ordering them weekly for my office. While I'd still recommend trying the cookies once, I would not recommend a revisit until things change. read more

I really want to love this place because the cookies really are good, but I have an issue with the way they handle the cookies. I messaged someone in charge after they first opened and voiced my concern over them frosting the cookies and refilling the display case with bare hands. Whomever I spoke to was apologetic and said they would take care of it. Today I went in and again they were handling the cookies with bare hands. Anyone who has ever worked in food service knows his is a huge no no. Ready-to-eat food has to be handled with a clean, gloved hand. Not only is it a health hazard, it's pretty gross. These cookies are fantastic! The chocolate chip cookies are light and full of flavor. They aren't weighed down with what tastes like a bunch of butter. I absolutely love the lemon frosted cookies, they have the perfect amount of tanginess. They have regular sized cookies that they sell by the dozen and larger cookies for a special treat.
