My mom…read morebrought it to Nor'east Cleaners to be cleaned as they advertise themselves as one of the top wedding gown specialists on the North Shore. She picked it up last Friday and paid $280 and when she got home and noticed the issue immediately brought it back. The workers response was 'Oh, you didn't bring it in like that?'. No.... And even if we did, we brought it to be cleaned? She said a manager would be in on Monday and would call her first thing. No one did, so my mom called and the manager said she hadn't heard of the issue, but would check. She called back the following day and said it'd be soaking in their solution and would be ready by this Friday. My mom went to pick it up again and nothing had change. This time the worker said that sometimes their cleaning products don't work with expensive dresses. If this was true, wouldn't this be something they let you know BEFORE they take your dress? They said they'd give her a refund, but their check writer was out on vaca (as seemed anyone else she could talk to to get answers). That's it.... Now I'm left with a yellow dress that wasn't yellow before and Nor'east hasn't offered and applogy or a way to make things right. Very upsetting.

LOVE convenience, even at the expense of bad service at times. So close to my house. They've always been VERY nice to me when I bring up the collar issue, but it just happened AGAIN. Brand new shirt, laundered ONCE. Got it back and the collar looks far older than it should. Has that strange shine from being pressed with something TOO HOT. Showed the woman working there (again, very nice). She noticed as well, and confirmed it was pressed too hot. Said in the future they will do everything by hand instead of by machine. Think it's two or three extra dollars. I imagine there's gotta be another place that can do standard dry cleaning on this type of typical shirt, not have to pay extra, and not get back a shirt that automatically looks aged. Unfortunately now I have my favorite brand new shirt that looks older than it should. Like my other shirts I've brought there. Shame. ps. During a holiday week they do not modify the delivery schedule from m/th or t/f even though they do NO deliveries on Wednesday and could potentially mange to continue service. They simply do NOT pick up. Over time this situation becomes increasingly annoying. As customers we still manage to squeeze a normal work schedule into a shorter week. A small complaint.

The lovely woman walked me through each aspect of the suit's fit, helped open up the pleats in the back, and recommended no tailoring be done as the suit fit well. She could have easily made some small (unnecessary) suggestions to this unwitting customer to make a dollar. I appreciate the honesty and would gladly return in the future.
