Eileen could do what I couldn't do in 28 years. Get my wife to love weightlifting! We both are happy with the results.

Description: Group fitness studio offering 45-minute HIIT…read moreand circuit workouts (and the workouts change everyday!) in a spacious, mirror-free environment Location: Located along PCH near Dana Point's Doheny Beach and can easily be walked to if you're in the surrounding area. Plus, it's next door to one of my fave pizza spots aPizza Doho, perfect if you want to treat yourself after a good workout Workout Format: Classes rotate daily between Cardio and Strength (Upper and Lower) sessions. Each station is guided by TV screens showing every move, so you always know what to do, with trainers circulating to help as well Trainers / Instructors: Everyone here is super friendly! We even had a class where it was just the two of us, and the instructor Elle was still super engaged, even participating in the workouts with us to keep up motivated! Vibe & Community: Lots of positive vibes and high fives from members and instructor. Plus the no-mirror setup takes away the self-conscious factor and keeps focus on the workout itself. Facilities & Cleanliness: Very spacious compared to some other F45 studios (we've been in some pretty odd shaped F45s so being in a studio that is not cramped and oddly laid out is nice). Perfect For: People who want an engaging workout. If you easily get bored with the same routine, F45 is perfect for you as everyday is something new! Parking: Street and plaza parking. When the plaza gets busy though, parking can be kind of a pain (plus some of the spot are pretty tight) Promos: They've got a an intro offer of $30 for 3 classes, perfect for checking out a few of their class types to see if F45 is right for you!

This gym is pretty cool. They give you opportunities to try it out before you commit. Instructors…read moreare great and actually coach form. The classes are varied and stay interesting.

If you live in the Dana Point area and are looking for a circuit training group fitness studio, you…read moregenerally have two options, BFT and F45. And honestly, you can't go wrong with either choice. Yes, there are a few differences (BFT has squat racks and mirrors, F45 is mirror-less and not all of their studios have upgraded their equipment to include racks), but at the end of the day both offer 45-minute classes designed to get your heart rate up with a mix of cardio and light strength work. As long as the instructors are motivating, the studio is clean, and the programming keeps things fresh (both rotate workouts daily), you're set up for a great workout experience. I've popped into the Dana Point BFT a few times and every experience has been great. The instructors are super friendly and attentive, the workouts are varied enough to keep me interested, and I always get a good sweat. And for those of you who are not familiar with the format, each workout is displayed on a TV screen, so if you're ever looking for a refresher on what the move is or if your form is correct (and the instructor is currently occupied helping out someone else), it's an easy reference point to look at. My only comment is that it would be great if they offered some kind of bundle or crossover membership with the Yoga6 one street over. From what I understand, they're part of the same fitness family, and it would be such a perfect pairing...strength and circuit training at BFT, balanced out with stretching and mobility work at YogaSix. It feels like the kind of combo that would keep members healthier, more consistent, and less injury-prone.

The trainers are super motivating and supportive, and the community vibe makes it easy to stay consistent. Highly recommend.

This gym offers far more than just Jiu Jitsu with Muay Thai, MMA, and fitness all under one roof. The community here is outstanding: welcoming, supportive, and tightly bonded. It feels like more than a gym; it's a real journey I'm grateful to be part of. I've watched the gym evolve and keep improving over time. It never settles for being good, it's always striving to be better, which perfectly reflects the growth mindset these martial arts teach. The coaches are excellent, and offer classes from early morning through the evening for availability when my life needs it. They've given me a clear roadmap for my development and helped me create an actionable plan to level up. If you're looking for a serious all-around martial arts gym with great people and constant progress, this is the one. Highly recommend.

From day one, everyone was welcoming, and there was never that intimidating feeling you sometimes get walking into a new gym. The coaches do a great job of breaking things down so they make sense, and they're always willing to answer questions or help after class. No matter your experience level, you feel like you're learning and getting better every time you step on the mats. One of my favorite parts is the community. Everyone pushes each other to improve, but it's done with a lot of respect and encouragement. It's a place where people work hard, have fun, and genuinely enjoy seeing each other succeed. If you're on the fence about trying jiu-jitsu, just stop by and give it a shot. It's a great group of people, and you'll probably feel at home faster than you expect.

Run, don't walk here. This boutique studio is one of a kind. My group classes have no more than…read morefour students at a time. Pilates was really meant to be a one-on-one type practice and while I know private lessons are not realistic for alot of people, the next best thing is finding a smaller studio that can offer a more personalized service which I think is necessary for an authentic experience. As an intermediate-advanced student I have taken a deep dive into the practice and I know which studio is truly qualified. My first experience with Pilates was at a BASI certified studio (contemporary pilates). When I moved I was looking for something comparable and began taking lessons with Kristen who is Power Pilates certified (classical pilates) which is highly respected in the East coast/NYC scene. Anyways, it's been a year since I've done one private and one group class per week and my body has completely transformed (alongside walking/cardio 5 days a week). This studio was actually an upgrade from the previous studio which I originally thought was the best. Kristen is so meticulous and particular about form that I'm never hurting in the wrong place (lower back, which is easy to strain with improper form) and she has such an eye for detail which has given me more understanding of my own body and deficiencies to look out for. Rarely do I feel passionate about such an establishment but health is wealth!!!

Charone and Kristen tailor ever private session to my alignment and what my body needs the most. I no longer need physical therapy and my body looks 100% stronger. The classes there are small and it feels like a private lesson. I highly recommend this studio to anyone who is serious about changing their posture and shape while being attended to by instructors who really understand what your body needs. My mind/body has been so balanced since starting there 6 months ago.
