But since I've been going to the gym for 3 years now here are some critiques The hip thrust machine always has a line. Please invest in another hip thrust machine or two because it truly is one of the most popular machines for the girls. There is only one smith machine. There is always a line for the smith machine as well. I've also had a lot of issues with people placing their stuff on equipment and walking away like that claims the machine. There needs to be a sign that says you can't put your stuff on an equipment and walking away for 10 mins. It's very frustrating for a mom that only has a certain amount of time to workout while my kid is in daycare. My app has not worked to make a daycare appointment for months. I've mentioned this several times and the management needs to help the daycare with this issue. The daycare hours have made me truly considering canceling and going to lifetime since that is honestly the only reason I go to this gym. They should be open on sundays and not have a 4 hour gap in the middle of the day.

I completely understand and agree with the 30-day return policy for items you simply don't like. That is not the issue here. I purchased a scale at this location on October 10, 2025. It worked for about three months and then stopped working. I brought it back on January 16, with the receipt, only to be told by the manager that I was outside the 30-day window and therefore "too bad," I now had to deal with the manufacturer. This was disappointing. In my experience, when a store sells a product that turns out to be defective, the store handles the exchange or refund and then deals with the manufacturer themselves. Apparently, that is not how this location operates. What makes this more frustrating is that other 24 Hour Fitness locations handle this differently, which suggests this is not a consistent policy issue but a location-specific one. I appreciate Zach's help in at least finding an email address, since there was no phone number available for the manufacturer. The manager--who is 27 came across as extremely unprepared and unprofessional the entire time. The interview had no structure, included awkward comments, and halfway through I was genuinely thinking, "Where did I end up?" It almost felt like a joke. To be clear, I'm not bitter about not getting the job; I actually called afterward to withdraw my candidacy myself, trying to be professional. I was told they'd call me back, but instead they said they were "in a meeting" and never followed up, which says a lot. Walking around the facility didn't help either. The restrooms were pretty disgusting. The floor a mess. After reading other reviews, I'm not surprised they're so negative. I walked in a little nervous -- okay, very nervous -- since it was my first class and my first time ever doing Pilates, but I immediately felt so welcomed. Kristin was incredibly warm and kind from the start. She checked in with me throughout class, made thoughtful adjustments when I needed them, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident the whole time. That kind of attention makes such a difference! Had I known there was a separate check in process, I would have happily completed it. While I understand the need for attendance and cancellation policies, the tone of the email felt accusatory and unwelcoming. Instead of reaching out to verify what happened, the message immediately focused on strict policies, penalties, and waivers. As someone trying the studio for the first time, it left me feeling more like a problem than a valued customer. Allison deserves recognition for providing an excellent class experience, but the studio's follow-up communication left such a negative impression that it overshadowed what was otherwise a great workout. My husband and I participate in tennis clinics 3x a week in the evenings (6:30-8:00) with a group of about 10-12. The social aspect at the bar after was a highlight. The club recently sent out an email that the bar and cafe now close at 7pm. Kinda silly. So many people would go to the bar (not so much the cafe) in the evenings. This is the way to keep members - offer the social and the fitness. They instead added a number of items to the cafe menu and close early. If staff costs are the issue why not look to your gym in NYC. Self serve. You scan your card and it self pours wine or beer. Very sad to see the place go downhill. You can see staff morale is being impacted. Great facilities- poorly managed.
