For me... Eiland's is easily the best coffee. In my travels, I always try to take in good coffee that is locally available ...and to date have not found anything better, anywhere. If you are are discerning about your coffee, Eiland is a must. read more

I sure lucked out having this place less than half a mile from my house. The owner and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a Brazilian drip coffee and bought a bag of their Interurban blend, which was incredibly fresh as it was roasted the day before. Per my request, they ground it for me and resealed the bag - pretty cool! I think I'll be coming here from now on to purchase my coffee. read more

I have been searching all over Dallas/Fortworth for a good espresso and just have not found one until today. Also, I had the privilege to try the cold brew and it was delicious. You know when someone tells you what a coffee should taste like and you nod your head deceiving yourself that sure that's what it tastes like? Well that was me until today when I tasted a sweet hint of strawberry in my cold brew coffee and the nutty spice flavored of a straight up espresso. This place is on par with the coffee I drank in Addis Ababa and Eastern Europe. read more

Friendly staff, Wonderful service, and great coffee. We were recommended by friends to try their iced mochas - we are very pleased and highly recommend for a refreshing treat! A Richardson gem. read more

This place is awesome. I had an almond milk latte and was so flavorful. I also bought a couple variety of their beans and can't wait to try them. read more

Great place to buy some premium coffees. This isn't your typical coffee house just selling cups of joe, but they instead have a heavier focus on bulk sales. They supply a few different area restaurants with their coffee such as Whiskey Cake and Pearl Cup. I personally prefer their red label coffees that are the natural process, but they are all good. And they were the ones that taught me about the different processing methods for coffee. So great coffee and great people. read more

The cold brew is so good, it's so smooth and strong and all at realistic prices considering the awesome quality. Place is quaint and clean and we ONLY buy coffee beans from here. Responsibly sourced and so good. Also, really strong service and community vibe. Love this place. read more

Best local roaster on the East side of Dallas. Plus they have 16oz retail bags compared to everyone else who sells skimpy 11oz bags.

A newbie to fresh ground coffees, etc. Cassie was very helpful, suggesting a particular selection. Friendly service! Thanks all!

I had my first experience with this coffee at the Original Pancake House in Addison. I would come there just for the coffee. One day I decided to buy some to make at home. After further research I found their location and more info online. This is by far the best coffee I've ever had. I would tell any coffee drinker in DFW to put down that crappy cup of Starbucks and go to check out their roastary in Richardson. The owner made us the most delicious cappuccino and latte and then showed us the very impressive coffee roaster. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about coffee and it shows. read more

Traveling- my wife and I always try to find hidden gems when we're traveling. This is one of those places! I love small batch roasters who know what they're doing and this is by far some of the best coffee I've had. For those who like good coffee, this is the place. Not your average, but a step above! Great job on the coffee! read more

While I haven't been the actual shop yet, Eiland was part of this past weekend's Dallas Coffee Day venture! There were over 10 local brands to try, but Eiland stood out head and shoulders above the rest! It was great meeting the owner and learning about their roasting techniques. They most recently came back from Colombia, with a new batch of beans that produced the smoothest cup of coffee I've had. It's very telling I keep thinking about the coffee and can't wait to head to the shop! I look forward to buying a couple lbs. next time I'm there! read more

Great place! The coffee is FANTASTIC! We met the roaster, Clay, and he was very nice. We were in town for a video marketing conference, and we were about to hit the road to drive back to Springfield, so he gave us a small bit of some cold brew that he said would keep us awake if we ever ended up getting tired. Very thoughtful! We bought two packages of coffee along with our drinks for the road and, I have to say, it's some of the BEST coffee I've ever had! Keep up the great work, Eiland! read more

I am an avid coffee drinker. I've tried most of the big roasters in Dallas...noble coyote, cultivar, ascension, etc and Eiland's Ethiopian blend is my absolute favorite. Best coffee I've had in a long time. read more

One of Dallas's oldest roasters. I found their small retail outlet which is a part of their shop and roaster when I was looking for bulk coffee after having their blend at PearlCup, some time back. Clay is SCAA certified and his exposure and experience show it. Great blends and artisanal small farm coffees. They have done house blends for many of Dallas' coffee spots Experience in roasting really lets them bring out the best in the beans that they have found. Direct sales means the coffee is to you quickly after roasting, and that makes a big difference to me. Real resource for the area read more

Wonderful coffee roaster and amazing staff. The coffee is delicious and there is always something new to try. The staff is knowledgeable & friendly. Great business and we've been regulars there for a few months now. read more

Great little shop! They mostly do wholesale beans for restaurants in the area (Whiskey Cake. etc) I always try a new bag of beans and while i'm there pickup a drink to go. Great prices and excellent coffee. read more

As like Kevin S. said, I also discovered while at 60 Vines. I asked what brand and where they bought from. I am sold forever. I will only buy from Eilands and grind it myself on use. read more

Hands down the best coffee ever and I'm a coffee snob. They are the nicest and treat their customers like family.

This is without doubt the highest quality coffee shop in Dallas. If your a coffee lover and haven't dropped by (for either a shot or fresh toaster beans -onsite)... you haven't had the best coffee in Dallas read more

Eiland Coffee Roasters - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Richardson, Texas

Outstanding coffee along with friendly and knowledgeable staff! Amanda educated me about the different coffees and how they roast them! Their expresso is a great bold yet smooth bean that I totally enjoyed as an americano! read more

Nicest, most helpful local roasters I have ever met! Always friendly, always go above and beyond! They are extremely knowledgeable AND I always end up with beans roasted THAT DAY! Never going anywhere else. read more

Lovely coffee, lovely people. I stopped in because I was in the area and I am so glad that I did! I purchased a bag of freshly espresso and I had a cappuccino there. They supply beans to several Dallas area churches and coffee shops. Wonderful! Pick up a bag of beans, you won't regret it. read more

Incredible and Clay KNOWS coffee. He's my neighbor and I've known him for years. There is no better coffee roaster out there.

Coffee is fantastic. I found this place on Yelp and showed up one morning for a business meeting. They have no seating and no wifi. This is not a coffee shop. They are a roasting co first and foremost with a tasting bar. Not a good place for a meeting like I had planned, but perfect for a cup of joe to go if you're a coffee aficionado. read more

Absolutely, hands down, the BEST coffee! You can stop by their shop to grab a cup, but it's not huge so not a place to sit and stay. They are SO knowledgeable and friendly. I personally love the Costa Rica and they grind them for me for my French press. Can't say enough great things about this place! read more

Hands down my favorite local roaster! Great coffee and incredible people great your at Eiland's.

Awesome coffee with super-helpful and nice folks working here!

This little place is great. The workers are always so nice. It is tiny, and no where to sit, but I just go for the coffee. Coffee is what they do and they do it really well. read more

This shop is a hidden gem in Richardson located just one block east of 75 off Arapaho. The coffee is roasted and ground on-site. It is rich and aromatic. You can order a cup to drink on the go. No seating is available but the ambience is warm, the decor very pleasing (I especially enjoyed the photos of the various stages of coffee bean production) and the place smells heavenly. You can peek into the area where the beans are roasted. The staff create a most welcoming vibe. read more

I've been going to this shop for years and love this place. I've been to many different brewer/roasters but these guys are the best. Humble beginnings and have grown so fast... i think the secret is out. Clay and Cory are great guys and run a great business. read more

I received a mailer for a free coffee and decided to check it out. Husband got a latte and I had a drip and both were fantastic! I worry that sometimes roasters tend to brew it extra bold which usually leaves a super bitter taste, but this was perfectly smooth and balanced. I will definitely buy a pound when we run out at home! read more

Literally the best...hands down...end of story. I have tried lots of artisan coffee houses in the DFW area and this is a hidden secret that others must know about! read more
