Food was interesting and flavorful. Very enjoyable. Service was good and our waiter even provided live guitar and singing! I enjoyed the hardwood doors and marble & granite pieces bar. Will be returning.

The kebabs were delicious. (A blend of ground beef and lamb.) The rice was fantastic. The tomato and cucumber salad was fresh and flavorful. A little pricey, $30, but.......

Incredible. Went there with a large group and got the biggest combo platter. Everything was amazing. Unbelievable flavors. Very friendly service. Very reasonable $$. 7 of us ate and were stuffed. Will absolutely be returning. Don't miss this one folks. One of the best meals I've ever had.

Perfect spot for comfort food! Everything came out fresh and hot. The server recommended the 2-person combo, and I added a side of lamb chops--such a great choice. The meat was well-marinated, and the portions were generous. The combo also came with pickled veggies and a salad, which tied everything together perfectly. I visited during a quieter time, so the vibe was super relaxed, and the server made sure we were well taken care of. Definitely solid!

The beautiful German/Bavarian wall script and masonry of the brickwork inside the building only is worth the trip to this place . Now on to the food: they serve halal Iranian and Turkish dishes. Mainly lamb, beef and chicken kabobs. What sets them apart from other places is they use fresh meat and spices vs pre packaged kabobs. The food may be kind of pricey to some. However, the portions you get as well as the taste are well worth the price you pay. Definitely checked them out!

Truly a hidden gem found in an unsuspecting area. The food here was delicious; their meats, incredibly juicy and flavorful. The group deals are definitely worth the value for what you get, so bringing a crowd is recommended. Favorite dishes: Kabob koobideh, sheeshlik (lamb chops)

We went here for lunch and we ordered the two people combo since it is just the two of us, my boyfriend and I. The food is good. I like the beef. I wish the rice would have more flavors or spices. The service is not what I expected. Having someone one or two years older than my kids asking me what I want to eat is different to say the least. Therefore as expected, no checking to see if you like the food or needed anything else. Which was fine, because I do not expect my kids at their age to know to do that. My boyfriend still gave 37% tip because they are just kids.

The koobideh kabob (included in the soltani kabob combo) was fantastic. It literally melts in your mouth. Both kabobs are on skewers when they arrive at your table and are pulled of the skewer by gloved hands. They are piping hot upon tableside delivery! The masto khiar is so cool and refreshing and well seasoned. I highly recommend both dishes. The gentleman at the bar when we came in was super friendly and adored children. He was enamored with our 6 month old and grabbed his guitar to play her some songs. It was so sweet. You can tell the people that own this business are super nice and their food is fire as hell to boot. It is a toss up between this place and Royal Kebab for who has the best kabobs in the city, but they both blow Majeed out of the water. I, for one, will be supporting this area business quite often. I suggest you do too!

What a gem! Delicious food beautifully presented. The owner was very nice and friendly. He gave good recommendations as we were unable to make decisions since everything look so good. Street parking only.

Good gooooodd fooooood!!! Went w a party of 7 and got two 3-person combos and it was the right amount of food. The half chicken kebab was my favorite (5/5) but I also loved the other chicken kebab and the beef kebab. The stews that came with the combo were fire, my fav was the gormeh sabzi. Loved all of the veggies that came w/ the platter - onions, cabbage, jalepenos, banana peppers, roasted tomatoes (which were fire!) - they were so fresh! Definitely recommend! Ambience was okay - wish there was some music to add to the vibe of the restaurant, but otherwise had a good time! Would come back to try more of their kebabs

The meat here is incredible! I've had a ton of Iranian food from a variety of places but this is the first place I've tried in St. Louis and I don't think I need to try any others! The chicken in particular was so so juicy and cooked perfectly. The koobideh was delicious and also cooked perfectly. All the staff was super nice but you'll need to wave them down to order and get the check and what not. Still giving 5 stars though because of how personable they were!! This place is super casual and there is lots of seating available. Seems like it would be accommodating for larger groups! The platters for sure are!! Also this place is halal which is an added bonus :)

I really loved the ambience, casual, yet neat and clean. The staff, especially the two girls, were friendly and welcoming while still maintaining a respectful attitude. The food was great. It was my first time trying Persian cuisine, and I was amazed by the variety of kebabs available. The portions were generous, enough to eat there and still have some to take home. I'd definitely go back again.

I had lamb! Back strap and the beef blend. Phenomenal super fresh not over filling

We usually go as a family of 4 (all adults now; although we started to go when the kids were in high school). We love the Lamb Curry (both my sons' favorite), the Beriani, the Qabelli Palau, and Chicken Teekha Masala. The Sambosas are great starters. The chutney they serve with bbq the Naan is a family favorite. To steal a line from Frank's Red Hot Sauce "We put that sh*tuff on everything ". Finally, when we have room (and sometimes even when we don't), we get the rice pudding. The service is usually good, but not necessarily great. It's always personable and genuine; just sometimes a little slower than expected. Also the place (opened circa 2005) is showing its age a bit and needs a little TLC. It's very clean; it just needs a little refreshening in certain high traffic areas. The takeout/delivery business seemed good on the Sunday night we went there, but the in-store business was pretty quiet. However, it was one of those sub-20 degree nights, so I'm hoping that was the reason for the lack of in-person dining. Go there are experience some really great food and let's keep this gem of a locally owned restaurant in business. Based on food alone on out most recent experience, I'd rate it 5 stars; service and ambiance probably should drag it down a bit, but I'm still going with a 5-star review, because for the food and flavor it produces, it deserves a strong review and some positive energy to keep people trying this great food and supporting this local business.

I enjoyed my Spicy Chicken Soltani kebab platter that came with a spiced biryani rice with raisins and very good. I started with Pashtun salad that was small but fine for the $5 price. The naan bread on the side is different than the typical type of Indian naan but still tastes good. The service was pretty slow and I wasn't in a big rush but was getting ready to walk out after almost 15 minutes of waiting when a server came by. Good thing because 2 more minutes of waiting and I would've been out the door. The restaurant isn't the greatest inside but will do, nothing fancy.
