Customer service from the Newark, DE, office was awful. I could not get any follow through and talking to a manager or supervisor never happened no matter how many times I made the request. Even registered and certified letters to the branch manager and the home office went unanswered. It was an ordeal just to cancel the service. If I could get negative stars, I would, this is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with!! My mother has been a customer for over 30 years, and her house is now infested with termites!! The remediation and repair should be covered under warranty, but I can't get a hold of the manager for the Newark office, no one returns phone calls. They have not responded to certified letters. Company has gone downhill fast. They bought out a fantastic local company and at first was okay. Now they are terrible, their service is bad and when I called for a credit for a useless mosquito service, I was given a run around. I have cancelled all of my service after 30 years with Ehrlich and their former company. read more

I have spoken to 5 people as to the status of my credit because I didn't get the service I paid for. The ridiculous responses ranged from I don't know to you need to talk to your bank when our credit request will be submitted to it's at our District office which doesn't exist anymore to I can't give you James Semetti's phone number, who is reviewing the request because it's not our policy. Folks there are a lot of Exterminator companies out there. I can't make a recommendation of who to choose only not to choose Ehrlich. read more

There was a bat at my work and they used this company . The guy caught the bat and instead of releasing it. He said it would come back. He wrap this poor thing in a sticky trap to let it suffer and die. Very inhumane. Very sad. I have never been so disgusted in a company. read more

Ehrlich pest control is the most unreliable company I have experienced in Delaware. We had three appointments scheduled & each time no one called & no one showed up. We can't tolerate unreliable business. This is totally unacceptable! read more

I set up an appointment for the exterminator to come to my house and spray for ants. The date that was set up is August 25, 2023 and the time was 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. On August 25 the exterminator showed up at my house at 12:16 pm on August 25. This was not the time I agreed to and I am very upset that he did not come during the time I expected. I am out of the state for an extended length of time and I paid someone $25 to go to my house to be there for the exterminator. When I looked at my ring camera, I noticed he was early. I called in to tell you folks that I needed him to go to my house at the correct time. She wanted to reschedule and I was not going to reschedule to pay another $25 for your negligence. My normal exterminator knows I spend a lot of time out of the state and I told him I would be gone for an extended period of time. She said that she would send him a note and have him call me. I am still waiting on that call. When I called back the next day, I voiced my concern and asked them to have a manager or supervisor to call me so I can address my complaint with them. As of August 27, I am still waiting on a call. I have been a customer for several years and have never had a problem. However, when you take my money each month and I cannot depend on your company to do what you said you were going to do, I have a problem with that. Perhaps it is time to discontinue service and get a new exterminator that will show up at the time that was agreed upon. I asked someone to go to the store and get some spray and get rid of the ants that were marching on my counter . Again you are getting your money faithfully. read more

This is a very very unreliable company as far as customer service and actually doing inspections. We had APM for years and the service was great... alas they were bought out by these incompetent unreliable people who think they are a good company. Well after a terrible inspection in July with no report given to us,I called to complain and they appeased me with, " oh we understand and will get a technician out to reinspect your termite situation" Well folks that was in July.,, it is now almost Oct when they no longer do termite inspections. On September 24th we were to be reinspected between 3- 5 PM. No show, no call,nothing. I called and again was told an emergency complaint was being filed.. well still nothing... I don't trust this company and they will NEVER get another dollar of my money nor would I recommend them to an enemy. They are really incompetent cheats in my opinion. I have been an Ehrlich customer for the past six years. They have done a great job for me. They were recommended to me by a friend who has used them for many years and been very happy. We had a problem with wolf spiders in our basement. They are big ugly scary spiders. I went on Ehrlich's service plan and I have no more wolf spiders. They completely eradicated the problem. I have remained on the plan and any time that I have had an issue they have come out and taken care of it the next day. The technicians are very nice and never track dirt in my house. I highly recommend this company. read more
