Fabian came super quick for a quote; offered a pretty fair price that included the scope of work; got the job done quickly; and was responsive before, during, and after the process. They finished fixing the roof in about 2 days actually (one day for the roof, one for the gutters) just in time for the nonstop rain this time around. He added vents so that the roof would circulate air a little better, fixed up the shingles, and added gutters so that we addressed all the possible ways the roof could've caused the leak. I will say in between the process since I'm super particular he answered any questions on building requirements needed, difference between materials, and general concerns. For example, the intake vents that initially were replaced looked wonky, or had stickers left over and he got his guys to replace it correctly and clean it/fix it. I noticed one of the gutters wasn't draining during the light rain and he had a guy check it out the same day-- fixed it the next. So the job close to perfect, but of course checking the work helps. So far no leaks (it's only been day 3 of the crazy rain this week) and the new gutters are draining great. They were incredibly thorough. They ran multiple flood tests and found nothing wrong with the roof itself. Follow-up spray tests traced the leak to where the roof meets the siding. The siding had been replaced by a different contractor after the roof went in, and that connection wasn't done the way the roofers had recommended, yet they still ended up replacing almost the entire roof under warranty. I honestly can't think of many roofers who would do that. Most would have pointed to the siding and moved on. They worked closely with a siding contractor I brought in to fix it, and the two of them problem-solved together really well until the issue was fully resolved. These guys do great work, show up on time, and keep showing up until the job is done. I couldn't recommend them more, and I'll be using them for all future roofing work in the city.

This was not my experience with some of the other roofing companies who felt rushed or were asking me to cut corners. In contrast, ELM gave me several alternatives before we zeroed on to a torchdown roof. Next, Rodrigo and Lincon were very communicative on our group chat and kept me apprised of the progress throughout, including tons of photos. Rodrigo was also very proactive in dealing with the city for permits as well as clarifications etc, which happened several times since our city is one of the stricter ones. During all this, we had a running clock since we were in contract to sell the house, but Rodrigo and company kept things in motion, sometimes working late hours to ensure completion on time, which we did with several days to spare. It was also very nice of them to talk to my buyers to tell them about the new roof in detail. I was also pleasantly surprised with their integrity. For example, the roofing torch is huge and heavy and accidentally did some minor damage to the house. They fixed it without questions in a very timely manner.
