I've been using EH Clean for 3 years now. They do a VERY good job -- and I'm a little OCD about cleaning, so that's saying something! Jana has been very responsive to last-minute schedule change requests. When both members of my cleaning team had family emergencies and could not come as scheduled, Jana was proactive about letting me know and making sure my house was cleaned in spite of her staffing emergency. I really can't ask for better! read more

What a dream to come home to a sparkling clean house! Thanks Jana and staff read more

I have been using EH Clean for MANY years now. Jana and her teams are as EXCELLENT as they come. I consider myself a very picky, detailed and organized person/household. EH Clean far supersedes my expectations with their work quality every time, consistently. Jana is a very hard worker and a "hands-on" leader within her company. My schedule was all over the board with holiday company and personal work and found her to be extremely accommodating. She is the absolute best for those of us who like things "just so". I highly recommend and will continue to use her company indefinitely. I love her saying that she doesn't cut corners she cleans them... -A very HAPPY and CLEAN household :) read more

Before I moved out of the area, I had EH Clean in to clean my 2-bedroom apartment twice a month for many years. Unlike large cleaning companies, Jana's team is a small, personalized force who knows my apartment and my idiosyncrasies and works with them. The team is efficient and trustworthy. My only complaint -- but one I feel is necessary to state -- is that one of her team, apparently allergic to cats, would often shut them in the closet, where they'd remain until I got home late in the evening. My younger cat, once very curious, is now very timid. The woman in question apparently no longer works for the company, but the damage is done. If you have pets, make arrangements in advance as to how they will be handled (or where you should keep them) when their staff is on site. read more

Just started using EH Clean. I have never used a cleaning service before I am happy with the work and never realized how much my stress level decreased knowing I have a clean house and dont have to do it myself Jana has been great and I am so far very pleased with her teams read more

Great crews: this is an update to my earlier reviews. New crew came and they did what I asked them to do. I have a lot of animals and it's not easy to clean my house. Great service. read more

Not happy with the job they did; I expected a much cleaner house for $140 (+ $40 tip). I was moving into my residence on a Friday, so due to my hectic work schedule I didn't have time to perform a thorough scrub of the condo before move-in day. I called them on Monday to request a "move-in cleaning" and they stated they were booked all week except Tuesday and that they could come the following morning at 8. I told them the house was completely empty so it should take less than 2 hrs for 2 people to clean it. Also, I had a meeting that morning in San Ramon at 10a, so the person I spoke to on the phone said that I could meet up with the "supervisor" that afternoon when I returned and pay for the service. I arrived the next morning at 8a to let the cleaner in, who told me she was a "supervisor" and that they only take cash or a check. I stated that I was told over the phone that I was scheduled to meet her at 2p that afternoon to pay for this service. She stated she had another job at that time and would not be available. I argued that's not what I was told over the phone nor did I have with me cash or a check. So I had to quickly run to the ATM to get the cash. When I returned after 5 mins, she had begun working but the 2nd cleaner still was not there. I paid her and she stated she'd text me when she was finished then I left to make it to my meeting. I never received a text! I got played because they (I assume there were 2 people) did not do a thorough job. The toilet was not cleaned, the floors in the bathroom did not appear to have been swept and/or mopped and there were still cobwebs in the corners. This was not quality work that would translate into $140. I don't recommend their services and will not be using them in the future. read more

Fantastic experience in my first cleaning. Communication and scheduling was super simple with the Owner through the Yelp app. She was able to fit me in a few days early too which was a nice surprise! Price was better than the 3 other bids I got and the place looked great. read more

I've been using EH Cleaning services for about 10 plus years and they have always shown up when scheduled and always on time. Their prices are very reasonable. My cleaning standards are high, and they always exceed my expectations which makes my husband & I extremely happy. I can tell they love their job. It shows in the quality of their work. Whenever I need to schedule and at times reschedule, Jana is very responsive to all my requests and scheduling changes. It's very easy to get a hold of her which is a huge plus. She will always accommodate any last minute changes which is rare & doesn't make me feel bad about it. She is hands on owner and will get down on her hands and knees and clean beside her workers. Also, there is always a supervisor with the team who's job is to make sure everything gets cleaned to your 100% satisfaction. All of the cleaning team members are very friendly, and are easy to communicate with as well. The fact that they all speak English makes it so much easier. Keep in mind that they also accept credit cards which makes life easier when I don't have time to run to the bank or pull out cash from an ATM machine. I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed. read more

I had EH Clean for over a year and had problems along the way; and eventually had to terminate services. Different staff all the time entering your home.. The owner repeatedly flips appointments so she can schedule other business. When addressing concerns (like schedule blunders), the owner will argue and not apologize and not fix the problem. One housekeeper was drinking my liquor on the job. Once I terminated my key was never returned. read more

I am new to the area and I have a large home that I just don't have the time to keep clean the way I like.So a friend recommended EH Clean, I have been using them for about 6 months and I could not be happier. The staff is always on time, and polite, and they do a outstanding work, paying attention to the small details of the job.I would highly recommend to anyone. read more

EH Clean, Jana. I found Jana to be extremely unprofessional. I have a confirmation email from her scheduling our home today for a clean for which we had to wait three weeks. 3 weeks to schedule! I woke up at 5:30 am this morning at to pick up every item (we have lots because of the kids and big spaces) and put away clothes on the floor, put away dishes, i.e. to prepare the house for the cleaners to clean. As any parent with school-aged kids knows, it is difficult carving out time in the AM before preparing breakfast, getting the kids dressed and off to school. What a waste of time this morning for a NO SHOW. Jana denies her email scheduling us. There was no question in her email, only a statement. If there was ever any doubt in Jana's mind, she would have emailed me requesting a confirmation explaining that we won't be confirmed unless she receives a further email from us. There was none. Her response is to blame me. How does that make sense? We need a company who exercises good business practices with a level of professionalism. I just saw the other negative yelp reviews. I can't help but agree. read more

Have had nothing but positive experiences with this company. Hired them to do an initial deep clean of the house and was so impressed we decided to have them come monthly for maintenance. Love that we get the same wonderful team each time, that they always show up exactly when they're supposed to (usually even on the early side), and that they always do a thorough and fantastic job! Also love that they let the customer provide the cleaning products; that way we can be sure we (and the team!) are not breathing toxic cleaning fumes. A little pricier than other services I compared them with, but worth it: you get what you pay for! read more

It's amazing how Jana manages to remove all the reviews about her business that are negative. Just because she doesn't agree with her customers' opinions it doesn't make them less valid. I was a customer as well. The cleaning people are good, at least some of them. The issues i had with her are as follows: 1. the team she sent initially did a great job and when i requested them again they were unavailable. 2. the initial cleaning i was quoted $110 and she tried to charge 2.5 times the amount. After posting a negative review about her, she agreed to charge the original amount if i removed the review, which i agreed to and we worked it out. 3. Then she proceeded to bring me into a dispute with a customer i knew nothing about and had posted a racist rant on the response to this customer mentioning me by name because she apparantly hates all russians - because i happened to refer her to this customer. So...for referring her another client...i got a nasty racist rant on yelp. As for the cleaning..not so cheap, can find something just as good for cheaper. She uses her best people at the first cleaning and then says they're not available anymore. read more

It's been nearly 5 years since I first found EH Clean, and I continue to be impressed every time my home is serviced. Here are just some of the things that Jana and her staff has done for me in the past several years that I know I won't find with any other cleaning service: 1. Spent time researching and buying organizing containers for me, asking only for straight reimbursement of actual receipt value (nothing for her time). 2. Put together 2 storage cabinets that she also bought AND carried from the store and organized things into them beautifully. 3. Organized my closet, which is really, really, really a miracle, second only to the creation of the universe. 4. Moved her schedule around every time I'm expecting a guest, so my home can be nice and clean. 5. Superior attention to detail and always on time. 7. All ladies who have ever cleaned in my home can communicate in English, which is important as I do not speak Spanish. 8. They all love my two cats. I once left on a short trip and forgot to leave them water, and since they were the only people I knew who had my key, I texted Jana at some ungodly hour crying for help. She was at my home within a couple hours to take care of my cats. Am I aware of people who have had issues with cleaning services? Yes, and I understand their frustration. I went through the same frustrations when I was first looking for housekeeping services. However, after knowing Jana and EH Clean for so many years, I can honestly say that her heart is in her business and work, and she is just as, if not more, disappointed and frustrated at her employees when things aren't done correctly and she loses even just one customer, and she always wants the chance to make things right. Running a small business isn't easy and making every client 100% happy is impossible. Jana is someone I can trust, which is just invaluable when it comes to choosing a housekeeper. The peace of mind is *priceless*. read more

We have used EH Clean for several years now. Jana assigns a team to your home. They do a wonderful job. We have never had anything broken or missing--these are very reliable women. Jana is available by email if you have any special requests or concerns. If you hire an individual housekeeper and she is ill or has childcare problems, you're sunk. But with EH Clean, Jana assures that your home is cleaned on schedule, so you don't have to worry about it. We are very happy with them. read more

I've been a customer of EH Cleaning for about 6 weeks now, and I have to say, I'm exceptionally happy with how things have turned out. The most appropriate word I can use to describe Jana and her team is "professional." The initial interview went something like this: Jana and I arranged to meet at my apartment. She looked through the place, asked what I'd like done, and then proposed a series of options. The option she suggested actually came out to be less expensive and resulted in more frequent cleanings than my original idea -- what's not to like about that?! She then presented me with a very clear shopping list. It had full-color photos of all the products that I would need to stock, along with instructions about where to buy them and whether any substitutions were acceptable. She also brought all of her business licenses as well as a list of references that she suggested I call. The transaction was simple, straightforward, hassle-free, and there were no surprises. As a busy professional, this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Now, every other week, I leave money on my table before I go to work, and when I show up, the apartment is spotless and smells great. Her team has excellent attention to detail and is very, very thorough. My suggestion to the rest of you: if you want your place clean and you don't want to have to think about it, this company is the way to go. I am exceptionally satisfied not only with the service, but also with the highly professional nature that Jana displayed when we first met to discuss my apartment. 5 stars, no doubt about it. read more

I have used E H Clean for over a year and am completely satisfied with their professionalism and eye for detail. I have a cat and they pay close attention to her hair on the furniture. There are no words to tell you how amazing this company is. Alexa and her crews were hired to clean 13 building foyers and laundry rooms for us. It took them almost two days but these buildings haven't sparkled like this even when they were freshly painted! Polite, positive, hard working, thorough and attentive to details. Their prices are more than fair and they earn every cent! Sponsored by Clorox, this company goes the extra mile to disinfect, clean and shine everything they touch. I was so impressed I hired them to do my move out clean and they did the same amazing job! I would highly recommend them for ANY cleaning job big or small. read more

We were on a time crunch & Jana was able to fit our house in. The girls were there for more than 2 hours (even though they weren't scheduled to be there) & they did an amazing job. I had to move out of my apartment that I had lived in for a few years and needed a serious cleaning in order to get my deposit back. Is there a zero star review. You call this clean? My entire house smells like a toilet brush. The email you sent to your clients to save your business, a complete lie. You're fired. I've used EH Clean for many at least four years and the team that comes to my house are prompt, thorough, and when I come home I feel that the job done is so good that I could actually eat on my floor. I have had other companies in the past but EH Clean has proven everytime that the work ethic that is placed in her workers are of the highest quality. There have been a couple of times that I did not like what was done or wasn't pleased and when I contacted Jana she made sure it was corrected. I get the feeling that I'm in great hands with her business. I've even tested her workers by placing things that should be cleaned up in remote places that some might over look. They didn't. Those areas were covered and I know her team does a fantastic job. read more

After talking to several agencies, I went with EH Clean for the cost quoted as well as how professional Jana presented the company when we met. It is important to me that an agency have the appropriate credentials to protect both them as well as the customer. Over the years, I have had several companies clean and can say after the two visits I have had, they are BOTH the best price AND the best job. (and if you have a pet you are concerned about, they are very good with my 16 yr old pooch) Despite being very reasonably priced, her team (team #2 led by Ana) was THE BEST I have had. Ana is professional and to the point... but still obviously cares about the job and has a smile and a laugh. I have no doubt I will continue to get great service with this team! Jana (owner) first started exceeding my expectations when I had her team do a 'move-out' clean for my college apartment. I've even asked her to now do a monthly cleaning, which is unbelievably easy. EH CLEAN has been helping my family with the housekeeping here in Concord twice a month for about 3 years. The crews have all been pleasant and professional, and get the job done without and problems or drama. I've never had to worry about my house or my things. What a Godsend! In a nutshell: professional, attentive to details, diligent, and worth every dime! I owned a housecleaning franchise and know the difference between really clean and the opposite. I work full time and have a fairly large home and could not keep up with the different types of flooring, amount of vacuuming and overall general cleaning. We live in the country and are always battling the dust & pollen. I have been completely surprised (in a good way!) at the difference in the way my house looks and feels after they've cleaned. The efforts before they come (picking up/putting things where they belong) is the least I can do to ensure my house is ready for them, and they can spend time where it counts. Plus, the clutter goes away and I feel so much better for it. Try it if you're thinking about it! read more
