If I could, I would give this place zero stars. I had heard good things about this place so decided to give it a shot despite the bad reviews. Well.. I was severely disappointed. First off we got sat right away, which was a good start, or so I thought.. there were 2 other tables, and 9 staff working the floor(so you would think service would be at least average). We were given no water and waited 15 minutes for our server to take a drink order. She later came back to take our food order, and remembered she had forgot to put our drink order in, well, another 30 minutes went by our food comes, but still no drink. My order was wrong. I ordered the black stone Benny, with extra crispy hash-browns. My hash-browns were cold and soggy. She brought me new ones after I let her know, secondly the Benny was supposed to have roasted tomato, it was a plain cold sliced, old and shrivelled tomato. My bf ordered the breakfast poutine. It came with no cheese and the egg on top was extremely undercooked. Our drinks finally came, 2 wasabi Bloody Caesars. Holy moly, this burned my throat! It's basically a shot of vodka, with Clamato juice and a huge chunk of wasabi sitting on the bottom of the glass not mixed in at all. So we both swallowed a huge chunk of wasabi. Not pleasant. So we complained about the lack of cheese in the poutine and she said she would comp that meal. We ask for our bill and right before it comes, we see a mouse at the table next to us. Holy shit I almost puked my food up right then and there! The manager came to talk to us about the free poutine and my bf let her know about the terrible service and the mouse and the terrible food. She brushed off the mouse saying they already know about the mice and they sometimes sneak in through the kitchen door. After all this, we still paid $45 for the shitty food that we didn't even eat half of. We shouldn't have had to pay for anything at all. I know this because I worked in the food industry for 8 years. So I will never come back here, and I am certainly telling everyone I know about my experience. Do not listen to the good reviews! Trust the terrible ones, they are all right! Was looking for a nice brunch place to go to with my friend and we were excited to see a banner on the exterior of the store that was advertising their $12.95 brunch special. Once we got seated and looked at the menu, we did not find anything of this price and we were wondering why it was advertised outside of the restaurant but the waiters did not give us any information on it when we got inside. We finally asked to see their brunch special menu that they brought it to us and there was still nothing of the price that they were advertising. Very unimpressed. Their decor and atmosphere is very nice. Super clean and bright, but before going here I didn't know that they were a restaurant attached to a hotel. Once you go inside, you can definitely tell it's a restaurant that is part of an Accent Inn. It's an alright place to go for brunch, the food was decent but pricey and I don't know if I would go again. Very large wholesome menu of salads, bennys, crepes, waffles, pancakes, omelettes etc. Food presentation was as gorgeous as the menu and everything tasted amazing! I was staying right next to Eggspectation and wanted to try it out. My coworkers said it was horrible and so did the reviews so I didn't even bother wasting my money on that. I came in because i had my mind set on a smoothie. Once I was seated no one greeted me at the table. No water no server nothing. It was a good 10 minutes before they came and only reason was because the table next to me asked for something. I ordered a Smoothie and Glass of water and all she brought me was the smoothie. I asked for a cup of water from another waiter just standing around and he brought me a small ass cup and when that was done no one refilled it. The manager at this location DOES NOT DO ANYTHING. We went on Boxing Day morning and there was a lot of people which we expected. We asked the manager how long the wait was and she said 20 minutes, maybe less. We waited for around 1 hour before they called our name. This was understandable that she approximated the time wrong since it was busy, however there were clearly many tables empty that they weren't using. When we asked about the tables, they said it was reserved even though its been empty for 30 mins already. The manager clearly lies to the customers about the time, she kept telling new customers 10-15 minutes although we were all ahead of them. In the end, we left. Don't go to this place. read more

We went there after chillin at Accent Inn from a long day on ground and air. Not expecting anything g special, just hungry and no car. First of all the sausages were burnt and super tiny, especially for the price, meal came with barely any eggs that were cold, not sure if this was a joke or an actual business but I definitely WOULD NOT give this place a second try even as a last resort! Interesting concept, but it seems like being something for everyone is a challenge to staff. The menu is very diverse with lots of options, but of the things we tried, and there were four of us, we all thought the food was just so so...not bad at all, just nothing all that memorable and perhaps a little bland. After dinner desserts were offered, and we picked four. And guess what, the waitress said they were out of three of our choices! So three of us opted out of dessert. Then, someone came by, not our waitress, and said no, they had one of the three we originally wanted available. So we ordered the Sangria cake and the Lava cake in the end. Both desserts were clearly made somewhere else, and were not nearly as good as desserts from Costco! Went with a friend and my wife despite the terrible reviews. The waitress was very attentive absolutely no complaints on that aspect. The food was good but nothing spectacular. The garnish on the plate looked old and tired. I had the Montreal omelette the pineapple garnish looked like it had been prepped a few days before and been left out.. The omelette was good though. My wife's benny was also good but had a tired old pineapple on it as well. My friend mentioned pineapples are not in season.. We started our 10 days vacation by staying at the Accent Inn in Richmond and eating breakfast at Eggspectations. We can clearly say it was the WORST meal of our 10 day trip, hands down. Went here for our first time. Pretty busy on Saturday for brunch but not too long of a wait. Turn around was about 15 mins. We were seated, but no drinks were offered. No coffee or water was offered. We waved down 2 waitresses but were told to wait a moment. This was already after 15 mins being seated. We waved the bartender down and told him we were ready to order. We were again told to wait. So after waiting 30 mins, we finally got our order taken. Coffee was bland, tasted more like bitter water. Food arrived and surprisingly smaller portions compared to other places at the same price point. Our fruit bowls contained bananas that were turning brown, blueberries that were growing fuzz, and pineapples that were mushy. Funny thing is that both tables on either side of us asked how we thought the food and service was. All three of us agreed that this place needs more work at service and food quality.
