Sometimes this place can be hit or miss food-wise. Today was a hit! The service was fantastic, coffee refilled, food was fantastic, and everything went well today. The brand has high standards to the flagship restaurants in Montreal and Toronto, and today they lived up to those brand standards. As long as the food is this spot on, we will keep coming back!

The food was great!! Our large group of 11 were very well accommodated and the service was exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was super friendly and our server was "eggcelent" lol. The place was nice, clean and inviting. Ambiance great for breakfast and a large group traveling from Hawaii. The potatoes were a common, "that's delicious" across the board. The presentation of the food was so good and tasted even better. It was our first time to Vancouver, but if we ever have the pleasure of returning, we will be back!! You're now added to our memories!! Yelp is not allowing me to upload photos at the moment, I'll try again soon.

Located in the heart of Richmond, Eggspectation is mainly a brunch restaurant with lots of other lunch/dinner options too. They have a cozy ambiance with a diverse and delicious menu. Whether you're a fan of sweet or savory breakfasts, the menu offers something for everyone, including omelets, pancakes, and creative variations of traditional breakfast items. The staff were friendly, attentive, and service was quick. My friend got the classic Eggs Benedict, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, and came with Canadian bacon and a toasted English muffin, all smothered in their hollandaise sauce. I got their savoury heavenly crepe which was filled with grilled chicken, sautéed spinach and mushrooms, and a three cheese blend. It came with a side of fries, the portion was generous and worth the price. I crepe was creamy but not super flavourful. Our favorite was their chocolate banana crepe, it was huge and came with a side of nutella! The whipped cream was very generous. Would definitely go back :)

I passed this place while driving, and always curious to check it out. I finally stopped to check it out since driving on bridge, the EGGSPECTATION sign catches my eye every time! Thirst: Banana Java Smooth texture and creamy taste! I made sure to nurse my drink until my brunch came! Laugh out loud! Grubs: Florentine Turkey Benny and Crab Cake Benedict A pinch of cinnamon on my eggs goes a long way, a final touch on top. Totally inspires me to add this even for at home cooking! If you like turkey and eggs, then this meal is the meal to choose. The difference between the Turkey Benny and the Crab Cake is the name itself. So, basically the siding and ingredients are the same other than the meat. I recommend this place as the name of the restaurants speaks for itself...EGGS! Yummy delicious!

A good breakfast place if you want the "traditional" options at an affordable price. There is plenty of parking and it's located next to the hotel (not inside). The staff was nice and welcoming. The restaurant is generally clean, but I noticed that the floor was sticky so they may want to look into a new mop since it's probably overused cleaning liquids. The omelette was good and had a lot of veggies and meat. I did find two larger pieces of onion in there, which threw me off as I expected smaller cut up onion. The eggs benedict were cooked perfectly and runny as needed

Cute farmhouse look inside. Nice servers. My kids were happy with the food. Very filling breakfast.

Thought we'd give it a try since it's been around for a while. My husband got the bbq burger and I got the told around the clock. It was very normal. I usually like going for brunch because something about brunch places naturally impress me. But this one didn't. I was not impressed. It felt a little like a fancier hotel breakfast.

Upscale Dennys version with less options. The inside decor is pretty and the server was very friendly and nice to me. I ordered eggstravagenza.it was 2 egg omelette,1french toast ,potatoes and maple syrup. Since I opted meat free so I got side of one more toast. It was pretty filling and enough for one.

The food was delicious and the service was spot on. The wait time was short and the orders were correct and delicious. My family and I will definitely recommend this place when visiting.

Finally, I was able to try their breakfast as I have seen this many times every time we pass through it. First, the parking lot is not a problem as it's near a hotel. Second, it's spacious, suitable for family and groups, well lit and bright for its white interior. Third, plenty of breakfast menus to choose from. For this visit, we ordered; Lobster Mac and cheese ($24.95) was good, cheesy and creamy, but it does lack a little taste of the lobster, but the serving is a lot that I only ate half of it. The leftover when heated at home is not that tasty anymore it become dry. Blackstone Egg With turkey bacon $18.95 was a perfect combination; the potato was perfectly crisp. Piri Piri chicken wings ($12.95) we loved the wings it's was flavoursome. Chocolate chips and blueberry pancakes ($16.95) are fluffy, a generous amount of choco chips and blueberry on it and huge that we only ate one and took home the other two. Ice Cappucino ($4.95) and hot chocolate ($3.25) are perfect beverages with just the right sweetness. Lastly, the staffs were excellent, very attentive and clean, though the waiting did take a little longer. The price is a bit pricy, I understand, for the lobster but not for the egg dish.

One snowy winter morning, decided to finally try this place that just been franchised in bc. Ive tried a similar branch but back east and left very happy and satisfied. Anyhow, we ordered the classic benny, and the eggstravaganza. The classic benny was average at best. At least the hollandaise sauce was properly done, was warm and not cold as per Previous reviews. The english muffin was not toasted and the potatoes under seasoned. The blackforest ham Used was not fresh and came from a pack. They couldve at least used smoked ham to give it more flavour. But overall, the dish at least made average standards. The eggstravanganza looked really Good on the menu. The potatoes were nicely done, crispy in the edges and nice and moist in the center. Again, it was under-seasoned and tasted bland. The french toast left nothing to be desired. Proper brioched bread was not used at all. Light dusting of powedered sugar was ok, but the syrup that came with it was at best, clarified sugar from a bottle. It wasnt maple syrup or good quality syrup. There was no cornflake breading on the french toast of any kind, so the crunch was absent. I couldve made it better myself. To me it was nothing more than a glorified greasy diner. dennys would've been better and priced better. I was contemplating ordering the smoked meat poutine to go, but decided against it. I felt full bec of the enormous serving of potatoes lol. But quality and value were definitely absent. I can tell that food is served to merely exist and satisfy, not exceed expectations or leave a lasting impression. Overall, i would not repeat. Many other places priced in the same range but way better food. Furthermore, Their kitchen walls could use a good deep cleaning as i could clearly see grease splattered or smudged across the walls. My seat could directly look into the kitchen area. Lol. Service however was good. Fast and efficient. No trouble finding someone to help. And a other plus factor, if you ordered coffee, they'd leave a fresh pot on your table. Cheers! Happy eating!

1/2 order of the eggstravaganza as we split it...as you can see the portions are generous

The service was super quick and attentive. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. The food was fresh, with great presentation and hearty portions. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I will definitely come back while visiting Richmond, Canada.

We arrived around 9:30 AM for brunch. On a typical day, I would have ordered the breakfast croissant, but I was feeling adventurous. I tried the chicken sandwich, which was served with fries topped with shredded Pecorino Romano. While the bun was pleasantly toasted, the chicken (with mayo, lettuce, and cucumber) lacked flavor. It tasted under-seasoned and needed an extra element to elevate it--perhaps pickles, cheese, or maybe even a different sauce to complement the flavor of the mayo. I found myself alternating bites of the sandwich with the fries, which were nicely crispy. The saltiness of the Pecorino actually helped balance the milder flavor of the chicken. To drink, I had a hot Americano. It was flavorful, not too watery, and served in a beautiful black mug. I would recommend this cafe if you are in the Richmond area and looking for a relaxing place to spend time with family or friends!

The bbq meats arrived warm and was very delicious, the pork was meaty and not dry, the crackling crust on the roast pork was seasoned well and crispy. These meats were accompanied by their in house bbq drippings. So good! The fried squid turned out to be an expensive disappointment. It was not spicy as we thought it was supposed to be, the batter was too thick; more batter than squid, the squid didn't taste as fresh either. We didn't finish the dish here because it was a bit oily so we took it home instead. I have always had a soft spot for wonton noodle soup from my childhood. Sui gao are a favorite too. This combo arrived with 3 large shrimp wonton and 2 giant Sui Gao with my noodles and soup. The flavour of these dumplings did not disappoint, my only criticism is that the noodles and the dumplings were overcooked or left too long on the pass before delivery. I missed the slight chewiness of the noodles and the wrappers on the dumplings were so transparent and limp, evidence that they had been in the poaching liquid too long. The Chinese donut was hollow inside and flat as well as late arriving which was annoying. Our waitress was very attentive in refilling our water and tea. The staff delivering our dishes were prompt. There was a bit of an English language communicate problem when our waitress took our order but we laughed it off later. The place was quite busy already when we entered but we managed to get a nice quiet corner table. The restaurant got even busier during our meal. This business is likely what made my wonton and dough stick overcooked and late. I did kind of find it annoying to have the hostess at the door point out their cash only sign before getting menus to seat us. There is an ATM located near the exit door too to emphasize the cash only point. I really wanted to jive this place a 4/5 but the disappointments were hard to ignore. The total bill for our light dinner cane to $86.00! We won't be doing this again for another long while.

We were given the menus and an iPad with images of what each food looks like. The Chinese donut with the almost milk was so good! I can eat that everyday. (Maybe not) And the green beans were nicely seasoned, a tad bit too salty for me but it paired nicely with the congee. I've been to this location in the past and surprised that the interiors look different than before. I am glad this place is still doing well after a decade.

Upon entry, we saw only two or three tables occupied. Our waitress took her time coming up to us, and didn't really greet us. She just said they only have the Happy Hour menu as it was after 3pm. We never had Happy Hour before, but based on our past experiences, we were quite sure the smaller menu will be fine. I told her there are 4 of us, and she had to look around the restaurant, and then a looooong gaze at her tablet showing the tables. She pointed to a table towards the wall with the record player. We approached the table, then my wife wanted to sit at the end table behind ours. We asked the waitress, and she said it was reserved! OK, fine. We'll settle into our first table. We found it odd as reservations are not allowed during brunch and happy hour until 5pm. We were there shortly after 3pm. She then brought us menus, but only cared to bring two, when she knows there are four of us. Not a word, and just walked away. I turned towards her but she was already walking away. By this time, I didn't bother anymore. I just walked over myself and grabbed the menu. Then she didn't serve us anymore. Another Asian young man then came with the water bottle. A bit more eye contact this (yay) but still no smile. Just asked us what to drink. Took order and stepped away. We then ordered our dishes, and the food came promptly, except for the flat bread, which came more towards the end when other items are nearly finished. All good, but all of us just felt a whole different vibe this time, all having been here before. Sure enough, the table behind was still unoccupied by the time we left an hour later. Hmm. We were actually there to celebrate my birthday but we weren't really in the mood after not one but two servers seem to need more training. Oh, and heads up. When you call, you'll be talking to AI, not a human being! This should be a 1 star but the good food saved the day.

I remember my grandma taking me to the WS in the 70s (oh my do I date myself) & me freaking out like a little school girl, over the glass that I had my drink in. I wanted that glass so badly I cried. The kids meal would be served on a Pirate Pak - a paper / cardboard boat & my brother & I, in fact every kid would go absolutely bonkers! Not sure if that still happens today? Ah those we're the days when I had no bills or stress. I had not been to the WS in over 30 years nor did I miss it. A few years ago, the WS went through a major renovation updating the interior decor at all their restaurants. However, it still feels old to me. My Monty Burger was just ok. Couldn't really taste the 'secret sauce' WS is famous for. My cocktail - good. The highlight & sensation - my chocolate milkshake - it was excellent. I almost might go back just for that. These days the crowd at WS is mainly of the geriatrics type, according to my observation. This older generation must have come here frequently as kids & as a result, still love the WS today. Kudos to them. The WS continues to be a popular restaurant to eat at for many - I can't explain why. Each to his own. Do I need to go back anytime soon - nah.

it is the start of my month and my foodie group is LONG overdue for a meetup - i was away for HK…read morefor 6wks hence... we decided to do brunch instead of our reg dinner outing and chose this location of breakfast table so that we could explore steveston/richmond a little bit. parking wasn't too hard to find, and adding ourselves onto the waiting list was easy as well! the restaurant gave off a trendy café vibe - it was buzzing when we went and it was a great sight to see as ik the food industry has been struggling a bit. we were waiting for our table when a server came and asked if we were on the waitlist or not; we indeed were and our table was ready in about 5-10min later. it was a little early for us so s and i both got coffee - she got drip (with free refills!) and i got my usual latte. a got the yuzu maple tea. my latte got me my caffeine fix so im not complaining. food menu is straight forward - i had smoked steelhead lox croissant toast. i loved how toasted the croissant was, and how it stayed intact underneath the lox, cream cheese etc. i enjoyed the tang in the salad's vinaigrette - it helped to balance out the heaviness of the cream cheese. s wasn't able to finish her plate, which was the hangover breakfast. we had also shared the dirty fries - the mayo had a nice kick to it! there were other cute cafés in the area that we saw as we did a stroll after the carb coma - will try and come back if we happen to be in the area!
