This was my first time trying eggs up grill in South Carolina. I was pleasantly surprised that this was a franchise because the place had a very nice homie brunch feel. I gotta say the food was delicious. I love the potatoes. It had a little Kick to them. I actually ended up ordering a side of potatoes because they were so good. I do wish they had alternative milk like oat milk because their coffee looks amazing. I just can't digest dairy that well. Looking back I should've just gotten the coffee because I did get an eggs Benedict and it has dairy in it. The rest of my group had the bacon and eggs, the shrimp and grits. Unfortunately I couldn't get a picture in. It was eaten up so fast, it was very delicious. I think the shrimp and grits was actually the most popular menu item. I wish I got that but I'm a sucker for an eggs Benedict. Our server was kind and patient considering we came on a Sunday brunch rush. I would definitely love to come here again, if given the chance! read more

Let me start by saying the service was exceptional! I don't know how he does it but he was everywhere serving everyone! Good job Chris! Food was delicious and timely. I highly suggest you go on the waiting list if it looks crowded. You can do that through this app or on their website. It worked out very well for us. The restaurant is clean and the restrooms were great. The price here is not too expensive so it's a good place to eat on a Saturday or Sunday. read more

We liked all the add ins including the black olives. My wife felt that the feta could have been a bit saltier. My blueberry muffin was sliced and grilled--a nice touch but the crumb was a bit pasty. I had the pleasure of being taken to this Eggs Up Grill for breakfast on my birthday! Everything about this meal was fantastic. Chris met myself and my husband when we arrived and got us to a table that would accommodate the 3 other folks that were joining us shortly after we got there. He got our menus and drinks while we waited on our other family members to join us. I ordered the pancakes that were smothered in caramel glazed apples with bacon as a side. It was an amazing breakfast! We got coffee refills along with a few visits to make sure all was going great. I appreciate all that went on behind the scenes of this restaurant to make sure we were well taken care of! I'm afraid that Eggs Up Grill has succumbed to the popular practice of starting out overwhelmingly impressive to becoming overwhelmingly horrible! When this cafe(?) first opened I gave them a try and was pleasantly impressed with the atmosphere as well as the food presentation and the fantastic tasting food. Fast forward a year and I went to the same establishment and received the most horrible tasting food and a devil may care attitude to the plate presentation. After spending $24.99 for an omelette with runny juices, grits with shredded cheddar cheese that possessed an unfamiliar taste and smell, the sausage patties were undoubtedly cooked prior to my order, and French toast that were placed on the container without being sliced and having powdered sugar sprinkled on the top after explicitly being asked to withhold it. Oh, how I wished for an Egg McMuffin that would have saved me $21.00. Unfortunately, today was an effort to treat myself and to be by myself enjoying a well deserved breakfast instead this turned a "Me" day into a sad day. Save your money and look elsewhere, because, maybe your "Me" day will turn out better! **In response to your reply it clearly states that I went to the establishment; Ironically, attention to detail is not a standard requirement. Sadly it appears that management is not attentive, employee expectations is low and the consumer is jilted. read more

My sister and I decided to try out something new for breakfast. We've both heard great things about this establishment. It did not disappoint! They were busy, a steady flow of customers coming in and out of the door. Surprisingly, the wait was not long at all. We waited about 5 minutes before being seated. Everyone was pleasant from the individual who checked us in to our server, Ms. Mendy. She presented with a bright smile the whole time we were there. It's a great place for family, solo, or friends. The food was great. We both went for the shrimp and grits and a side of cheesy scrambled eggs. The only downside is that it had entirely too many peppers and onions for my liking. We were seated immediately on a Saturday morning 9 am server Mateo was very hospitable got our coffee and waters I asked him about the new churri steak and he definitely recommended it I had to try loved all the flavors and they came together so perfectly like it was so fresh I'm definitely gonna try the sandwich next time my wife got the crème brûlée French toast it was elegant with every bite taste was savory and sweet definitely was amazing will be back great job!!! read more

Food was excellent. Wait list to get in when they are busy, but you can get on the list via Yelp, so it's almost a reservation. Four of us went on a busy Saturday morning. Parking was tight, but we got to shop at Harris Teeter while we waited for the text. Eggs, grits, hash, toast, etc... All great. Hash is particularly awesome. read more

This place never disappoints with delivery. We had the steak and eggs; the steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare, and we also tried the carne asada breakfast burrito which was also fantastic. Only oddity was the breakfast toast was garlic bread, which definitely didn't go with jam/jelly. Nonetheless, we will absolutely continue to patron! I was familiar with the Pawleys Island location. To find one in Columbia not far from where I was staying for the weekend. There was no wait although I put my name on the waitlist. When I got there there was no line I was able to be seated right away. After I was seated it was clear that it was a good idea to put your name on the list especially on a Sunday morning. I ordered my usual grits sausage patty scrambled eggs and a half waffle . All of the food was good the sweet tea was on point just like it should be when you are in South Carolina :-). I would visit this location again just as I would the Pawleys Island location. The server was really nice and very patient because I was very undecided on what I wanted for breakfast. No pics because I forgot!. This is a great spot to eat breakfast! read more

There was a good amount of cars in wait, but it moved along decently.. it was kind of weird giving my credit card to a attendant who then walked it to the window to process it.. im not likely to do that again in this modern day of tap to pay.. As for the food, the cheeseburger and fries was what I ordered again this time, the experience was less than to be desired even after a short drive home. The burger buns had a hardtack consistency, which made me ponder if it was quite possibly one of the original breads brought across on the mayflower during the colonization of this fair country.. The burger patty was more on the cold and greasy side, the presentation was sloppily put together. The strawberry shake was good both times, although in drive through it took another 5 minutes to get it after I got my food.. I was expecting better out of a drive through establishment that prides itself on 24 hour service..

However, after we were seated, multiple groups who arrived after us were sat right away, and it looked like there was only one waitress handling a large number of tables. It took about 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken, and then nearly 40 minutes before we received our drinks and food. After we placed our order, our waitress was gone for around 30 minutes. One of our drinks didn't arrive until after our food came out, and when we asked about it, we were told the bartender was busy. Meanwhile, we noticed other tables receiving drinks and food even though they had been seated after us. The appetizers were great and some of the food was good. Unfortunately, my chicken tenders were extremely dry and not edible. At that point we were tired of waiting, so I just asked for my meal to be taken off the bill. The manager appeared to be helping take orders, but never acknowledged our table or apologized for the long delays. We tried to get her attention a few times without success. I completely understand that restaurants can get busy and short-staffed--I've worked in similar situations myself. However, a quick apology, checking on tables, or offering a small discount would have gone a long way. I do want to give a shout-out to the food runner, Diamond. She was very kind, checked on us, and had a great attitude despite how busy things were. She handled the pressure really well and was the highlight of our experience. For that giving the two stars for semi decent food & for Diamonds service.

I'm watching the bartender poorly wash the soap off the cups after telling her multiple times my drink tastes soapy! She don't care. I show management a photo of the suds on the cups that she putting up to use later that night / next day. Management act like they feel me , nah. She go joke around n laugh and watch her put them same cups up with suds on them for next use. My point is , nobody cares . Integrity is dead. The mix of assorted pickled peppers with in the perfectly fried tentacles and the marinara, also with a little heat was so good. We honestly consider a second order. A couple of us started with Blood-Orange lemon drops and decided to select options from the lunch menu. We each ordered one chicken pesto Sando and one chicken parm sub to swap and share. The third in the party went rogue and opted for spaghetti bolognese and a mini loaf of garlic bread. Once entrées were served the table was silent... a sign that everyone was pleased. lol. My choice was the chicken pesto and I swapped half for the chicken Parm sub. Both were good, however the chicken pesto by far was the front runner. The pesto was well-balanced with the right filling-to-bread ratio. It was simply just very tasty and I wish I didn't agree to share the other half. The chicken Parm was ok, however, there was too much bread to chicken parm ratio and it lacked a little flavor. Both sandwiches were accompanied by a side of pasta salad that was also enjoyed. We all left full and happy and I look forward to returning when I'm inevitably bullied into visiting SC yet again. Just A Note: After review of the menu, they can be considered pricey. Nonetheless I suggest giving them a try for lunch if you want to check them out and definitely opt for the chicken pesto sandwich.

I ordered my ribs and wings with the Pub dry rub and dipping sides of blue cheese for the wings and a side of regular bbq sauce for the ribs. The waitress came back occasionally to make sure all was fine and to refill drinks if need be. Outstanding service and the food was delivered rather quickly for such a large group. Everyone was really pleased with this dining experience and I'm sure we'll be returning. We almost missed the place due to the front sign being very faded and. hard to read from the front street....fortunately our GPS found it. I definitely recommend that lunch special of Ribs and wings for $10.99! Kudos to the waitress and restaurant on this visit. Our group rating ranged from a 4.0 (for the pulled pork) to mostly 4.5 and 5.0. Average rating was a 4.65.
