I met a friend for breakfast this morning. We got there about 9:20. I had just finished my food and asked the bus guy for a box. My friend was still drinking her coffee, which we had to look for the waitress since she never came by to refill our cups. The bus guy kept looking over at us and then came over and told us we needed to leave, people were waiting. I'm always aware if it's busy! Eat and get going but there was nobody waiting and they had open seating. I asked for a manager to let her know this happened since it was embarrassing other people were looking. She said that usually when it's busy they allow 2 hours. First of all it had only been 1 hour and 20 min when I looked at the time. She then looked at the receipt and said oh you haven't been here long! Her apology was not sincere at all. I told her the service was bad and the waitress didn't really come over. After we got up and went to the front to pay, the manager came over to say she would review the tape to see if the waitress came over. Really!!! At this point who cares. I was upset about the bus guy telling us to leave. No good customer service what so ever. It's a shame because it could have been cleared up if she had good customer service. Customer service training is what this place needs. I won't be going back. They made my friend and I feel horrible. read more

We met at Eggs N Things for our breakfast group. Parking is busy but available. It was a bit cold but the first available table was on the Patio they do have heat lamps but it in use I just ran out for a jacket. We reviewed the menu my first choice would have been corn beef hash, which says on the menu homemade in fact it's made from a can so I discounted that item. The menu has omelettes pancakes, eggs quite a good selection. Where it lacks is anything for a vegan. So our friend that is vegan just had potatoes. Perhaps THE could add some vegan items. I did make your own omelette and you select four items. The omelette was good. The Obrien potatoes were a bit gunky the toast was dry. I give a plus because I hate it when they butter the toast. Anytime we asked the server for something she let us know. She was too busy and she would come back later when she did come by to announce she was going on break her replacement was excellent. I wish we had had her from the start. It was busy but when you see all the waitstaff together talking then she was not actually to busy. We have been to many breakfast spots in Santa Clarita, but this one would not be high on my list to return. They do a Swedish pancake as a bonus, which is nice. Coffee was good. read more

I ordered lunch for the 3 of us at the office today. I am very disappointed with the order that I picked up a few minutes ago. I ordered 2 chicken walnut salads, and French toast with a side of bacon done medium, large OJ. I don't like crunchy bacon and reiterated this on the phone when ordering. The salads on the menu state they are tossed with vinaigrette dressing. Luckily, I was still there and noticed, yet they insisted there was dressing. I did get some on the side. I just spoke to the two that had the salads and found out the stickers were still on the cut up apple. This tells me one thing, the apples were not washed before they were cut. The French toast was more like a custard in the middle, raw gooey tasting. No cinnamon, sugar, or any seasonings in the batter. Good thing I asked for "extra" utter as there was none! No syrup, no powdered sugar on top like mentioned. The bacon was very well done, crunchy and black in spots. I had to go back in for the OJ, they forgot it. I ordered a large, got a regular. Luckily, they only charged for a regular size. The menu states Fresh Squeezed OJ. I watched them open a new gallon jug and pour it in the to go cup. Very disappointing overall. read more

The server walked by our table our and never once Said hi that he was busy and he'll be right with us. When he came by, I told him I'll just go get a manager then that when he said I was with other customers. Sorry we can see that but he never said I'll be with you. Food was good. He never came back and said is everything OK? we finish our food. We need to go to container and Bill still no waiter. The wait looked bad on this Saturday morning but I was by myself. A couple left the counter as I was debating going elsewhere. I waited less than a minute to be asked if I wanted a drink and quickly had a great cup of coffee within 30 seconds. The menu is traditional but not lacking for delicious and varied choices. I ordered Swedish pancakes (A specialty since 1974) with a side of scrambled eggs and Polish sausage. While waiting a guy named Ray sat next to me and the waitress treated him like a regular. The food arrived quicker than I expected considering there were 7 food servers who looked busy. So far the ambiance was food and customer oriented which is both of my 2 most important aspects of any restaurant experience. The food arrived and it just got better. The pancakes were fragile yet chewed and flavored with a ribbon of berry jam. The egg were moist but thoroughly cooked at a modest temperature. The Polish sausage was good quality and just spicey enough. Ray was a hoot and my server was good at her job. I wish I lived in the area. The waitress asked me in a way that made me believe all was included. I had no idea that all of this was separate. They also charged a 3% fee for using a credit card and a $1 charge for eggs. I asked the waitress why is the hash not homemade, and she said "customers didn't like the homemade hash, so they started serving the canned hash". A big group of us came here on a Sunday morning when it was relatively busy. We were sat down after some time and our server took our orders soon after. A positive mention for this. The major issue was the food arrival. Everyone at my table got their food at separate times with mine being the very last. I don't mind this issue so much a super busy morning. I had ordered the simple eggs, bacon, has brown plate and it took so long after everyone had gotten their food to arrive. Additionally, the bacon was super burned on one side and almost raw on the other side. The hash browns had no flavor, and the two eggs were the only highlight. Was here a couple years ago. Very nice breakfast dishes. I brought in a party of twenty two people and everyone appeared happy with their food. I ordered the steak and sunny-side-up eggs with house taters and biscuits and gravy. I ordered the steak medium and wished I rather had it medium rare, the eggs were as expected, the taters could've been served hotter, and the B&G was nicely flavored. Service was well done with multiple servers with pleasant and friendly service. Our large group ate outside and was a perfect ambiance as it was still cool. The food is good, however my husband has been here many times without me and both he and his colleagues have had bad reactions to the coffee ice water here. No matter how good the food may be I won't eat anywhere that makes me regret it. Please clean better and more often Little known fact about ice machines - 70% of restaurants' ice has more bacteria in it than the toilet bowl! Next time you're in the loo consider taking your own water in and No thanks I wasn't going to post anything but, it's happened more than once and to more than one. Sadly, it is only after having a reaction to the meal that you learn that they haven't cleaned regularly and thoroughly enough to prevent such issue's already Nice enough place but I won't drink anything not in a bottle here anymore. Trust is earned, not easily given and can be lost in an instant. Please implement better protocols to ensure your coffee tea soda and ice as well as the containers are cleaned thoroughly and regularly. We were here last Friday, 2/14/25 around 12:30 ish. Our waitress and front restaurant staff were all nice. The food was cool. It was the lady who brought our drinks, maybe late 20's ...early 30's with a long brown ponytail. She had been working back behind the counter and came to our table and slapped down our drinks. No "hello", "do you need a straw" just the silent treatment. I could barely get out thank you before she quickly walked away. My friend and I looked at each other like what in the world? I could not get her attention for a straw so I got up to ask her where she was working behind the counter. I asked "Hi can we have 2 straws please?" She curtly said yes. I returned to my table and she took her own sweet time about bringing us the straws and when she did she just laid them on the table and quickly walked away. You could feel her attitude. It must take a lot of negative energy to maintain that stinky attitude. It's so much more freeing being a pleasant, normal human being. Maybe she only likes customers who look like her (let the reader use discernment) because we saw her having a grand ole conversation with a customer that looked to be leaving up front. She seemed to have disappeared for a while maybe a break? But we were concerned about her being the one to bring out our food. Thankfully a nice man brought out our food and not her because I would have been suspect of our food...that's just how bad her attitude was. Congrats to her. She wins. The service here is really unfortunate. I work in food service and I am a young person so Im not an angry Karen. the hostesses are very rude and dismissive, they giggle rather than communicate with customers. There were multiple things wrong with my pick up order today (i order the same thing every time) and when I called to politely ask about this, the hostesses and the manager were incredibly rude to me right off the bat. The good: This was an eggcellent experience. I can't wait to come back. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and allow dogs. The indoor seating area has a low bar area that reminds me of old diners. There is plenty of parking. I came before 9AM on a Saturday and got seated in around 5 minutes. Their outdoor patio area is large, spacious, covered and has heat lamps. You get a complimentary Swedish pancake/crepe with some berry jam. It was delicious. I ordered the Swedish pancakes with fruit and also shared my husband's beef dip sandwich. It came with house fries (which were circles of baked potato). The potatoes were delicious and crispy without tasting oily/fried. The beef was tender and the bread roll was toasty. I liked that it came with a side of horseradish. The meat juice dip for the sandwich was also great and savory. The crepes had very fresh strawberries on it and the crepe had a great semi-chewy texture. Our food came out in a timely manner. I am looking forward to coming back to try their omelets. They have a lounge area with seating for you to wait by the entrance. You can pre-order food online. The bad: The only bad thing about my experience was that I don't have enough space in my stomach to try more menu items in one sitting. Happened to stop by as were driving through and decided to have a nice little sit down breakfast. I was trying to find vegan options but obviously there weren't that many. Not sure if the tortilla i ate was but I ordered that with some potatoes veggies and avocado. The first time around they brought it back with eggs. So I politely asked if they could redo it. She did which was nice but it was so dry. The pico de gallo wasn't very good. The potatoes had no seasoning whatsoever. And I was still charged $20 something for this small dry ass breakfast burrito. But let me tell you the crepes were amazing!! If you have a chance, you gotta have the crepes! You will love them! The service was good and the overall food was good along with a hometown friendly diner ambiance! Definitely a must eatery if you are looking for a good breakfast place!
