Found this place on TikTok it looked like a homey sort of breakfast spot. We came for breakfast but ended up getting lunch haha a club sandwich & a chicken sandwich. We didn't wait much to get seated. We ordered quickly the service was alright could've been better but the server never came by to check up on us and also didn't seem too engaged, I completely understand when people don't like to get constantly disturbed when eating or "bothered" but I just believe it's good customer service to swing by the table and ask if everything is all good , felt like it was just order, eat, leave rather than feeling welcomed & taken care of. That being said the food was actually really good so while the service could've been better I'm glad we gave this place a try, I may come again If i'm in the area again

The food was so delicious as always! The service did take a little too long but not a a big deal . The ambience is always amazing feels like home, like family! Britney, our waiter was great!

My party of five was quickly seated, despite the busyness of the restaurant. Everyone gets one crêpe as an appetizer, which is always something I look forward too -- a great way to start my meal. There's always multiple good options on the menu and I find myself ordering something different each time. The service was standard and we were checked on multiple times. They offer inside and outside seating. The inside seating is spacious. This is a great breakfast place with some dedicated customers. It's a Santa Clarita staple.

Ordered the Eggs N Things Benedict. Service: 5/5 stars. Seated immediately upon arrival. Staff was upbeat and friendly. The server who wore a pony tail with curly hair and bangs was lovely. She answered all my questions regarding the menu and order. Food: 4.8/5 stars. Speed: 5/5 Food came within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Taste: 4.6/5 The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Runny and very tasty. The sauce, avocado, and tomato provided a light savory blend. The biscuit was a bit hard on my pallet and but personal preference aside, it added a crunchy texture. The hash browns albeit a bit bland (solved by salt shaker), had a beautiful crispy texture. The fruit mixture was fresh, the grapes within were crispy and sweet. Additional note: the complimentary crepe was a nice touch in case you feel hungry while waiting.

parking was roomy and lots of spaces. server was friendly and great. lots of folks inside enjoying their meals. very tasty food and coffee. I didn't like the Gator sausage at all. kind of fishy taste and spicy, but the rest of the food was excellent. will definitely return to try other things. price was ok as well for how much we got.

This is a bad business and I would recommend no one go here. Sunday my daughter and I went to this restaurant just before they closed. We ordered 3 Swedish fruit pancakes, 1 scrambled egg with hash brown and toast. This was a take out order. The Swedish pancakes were supposed to get 3 eggs as side orders but got no sides at all. There was no whipped crème or toast. I paid $87.63 and that included a tip which I almost never do for take out. While we were waiting for our order 2 different people came in very angry that their take out orders were missing food! They were half training a new girl. I say half training because another person with the name that sounded like aria was too busy socializing with her crew. The new girl kept asking her how to correct the order of mine and she ignored her even though she was standing right next to her. Finally I said her name loud and she responded. I apologized stating she was not listening to her employee that needed help. Now because we were there just before they closed we could not go back that day because they were closed. So on Sunday around 2:15 I called the restaurant and left a message on their answering machine telling them what we were missing. Then after I hung up I called again to tell them the additional items my daughter said were missing. And asking them to call me back but I got none. I know closing a restaurant at 2 you will still be there to clean up until at least 3 but no one called me back. Monday was Labor Day and on line it showed them closed but I still called and left two messages. On Tuesday I called again leaving a message asking them why they were ghosting me but no call backs. They only stay open until 2 and when you have prior appointments it's hard to get over there by then. So I called Today on Wednesday and finally got someone to answer. I asked for the manager but I only got a male on the phone with such a thick accent it was hard to understand him. He spoke bad English. I told him the whole story of missing food items. He responded he could do nothing because it was Wednesday and why did I not go back on Sunday ? I said because they were closed but I had left 2 messages at 2:15. I said I called on Monday but they were closed for Labor Day & he said no they weren't. I told him on line it showed them closed. Then I said I called and got their answering machine and again on Tuesday. He laughed. Then said I can do nothing. I told him he had bad business practices. and hung up. I'm calling my bank to reverse charges. If that does not go anywhere because they fight it I will take them into small claims court. It's a small amount but it's the principle of the thing. I'm also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This manager should not only not be a manager but should not even be employed there. I've eaten at the Thousand Oaks Eggs and Things and they are the Best there. This restaurant however left good items bought & paid for out of my bag which is a breach of contract. I pay you for food but you take my money and only fulfill half my order. Not only that 2 separate people that day came in angry that their food had also been left out! When a business doesn't listen to their employees that are waiting on their customers, does not make right by their customers for their mistakes by stealing money and refusing to give the product to them and leaving items out of at least 3 people's take out orders that day including mine then it's a bad business showing bad faith and fair dealing! I will never do business with this establishment again!!! Oh and I went to use their restroom and they left the door open. When I went to wash my hands a worker was watching me and when he saw that I saw him he left.

Stopped by for the first time on a mid morning Monday. Place was packed, but fun a good way. The wait time was about 15 minutes. The ambiance of the place is great! Homie feel, but clean and brought with outdoor seating and misters. The service (including the owner) was awesome, friendly and worked their tales off. The menu is big and covers everything for breakfast and lunch. The table had a mix of breakfast omelettes and they were all fantastic. There was ample food and fresh coffee. We highly recommend this place and will return each time we are down to visit Masters University. Not a great photo, but at least it is something :) Enjoy.

I was in the Santa Clarita area and had about 2 hours to kill, so I came to Eggs N Things for breakfast. Walking inside to check in, I was immediately attracted to the board depicting their specials. That crab and shrimp seafood eggs Benedict would have been my choice. But I specifically chose this breakfast/brunch brand mainly to enjoy their house speciality (since 1974), the Traditional Swedish Pancakes. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. Being a hot morning already, they read my mind and immediately offered me indoor seating at a booth, even though I was dining solo. That's how it should be. After sipping their strong coffee that was superb, the one complimentary traditional Swedish Pancake arrived (whipped butter, blackberry preserves, powdered sugar). It is a simple concoction, yet an excellent preparation. Then came the real order, with 5 of these. The pancakes themselves are prepared so well that you can eat them alone just tasting the butter. The taste, the texture, the subtle flavor, the softness, as well as the brown look, was exceptional. It did not disappoint. Even though I have had this dish before at other branch sites, this preparation was a notch above, in both consistency, mouth feel, and overall taste bud satisfaction, to make it memorable. Then add to it the powdered sugar, the blackberry preserves and you are at another level. Service was friendly, caring and unhurried. Julia was my server. She provided outstanding customer care. Thank you.

I contacted management via email, and they refunded my order. Even though I did have to go the extra mile to make things right, I'm glad that I got my money back. I wish that they were a little bit more understanding over the phone instead of having to email.

Liquid gathered on plate. Today it wasn't edible... usually these are good.

This place is usually fantastic. I would highly recommend it but more during the week. We came on the weekend and there was a long line outside. We were seated pretty quickly, considering the line. We were served within less than five minutes of ordering, but I think they are trying too hard to get people in and out. Our food came out before the complimentary crêpe. The toast was not toasted, and the hashbrowns were burnt on the top and the crepe, when it did come, was swimming in either water, butter or oil... I don't know. The service was good although the servers are extremely busy. It is fast paced, and every single table is taken ... with a line out the door. I think we will come back ...but during the week. I will include a photo of the drowned crepe.

You're drawn in by the familiar, comfortable design featuring mirrored signs with writing in Victorian style fonts that continue onto the menus. They have marble tables and counters, with comfortable chairs, and lots of light coming in through the windows. The staff is all smiles and very welcoming, happy to help you navigate the very interesting bill of fare, and making sure your cocktail is made exactly as you like. I was dining solo, so I sat at the bar, and James took excellent care of me from start to finish. I asked for a Bombay Sapphire Martini with Olives; James immediately offered regular or blue cheese-stuffed olives, and asked if I preferred the martini shaken or stirred. The drink that emerged was well-balanced, cold and very tasty. The menu is filled with all sorts of interesting choices. Some are familiar items like salads and fishes and hamburgers or cheesesteak sandwiches done in their way -- but my eye immediately went to a very unique starter: Duck Fat Potato Confit. Say what? As James explained, it is a whole potato that has been slow cooked in duck fat (confit, as we know) and served as the main attraction in the dish as one might similarly feature a duck leg or short rib. I had to order this, and it turned out to be one of the most rewarding dishes I've eaten in a long time. The aforementioned, slow-cooked potato initially appears a bit like a whole boiled potato, but looks are deceiving. Because of the cooking method, the potato holds it's consistency and shape much more than a boiled or baked potato, cutting almost like a protein. It's solid but tender, and as it has absorbed quite a bit of flavor during the cooking, this potato is far tastier on its own than those other iterations. But you are NOT eating this potato unadorned. Oh no, this potato is dressed with caramelized onions, smoky bacon lardons, wild mushrooms and a rich, very flavorful demi-glace. All together, you've layers upon layers of flavor that make you ignore all distractions and really concentrate on the pleasure you're getting from your food. But that's not all... Perhaps the cleverest element of a dish composed entirely of clever elements is the Mornay Sauce. Snow white, and with enough of just the right cheese to add texture to the Bechemel without becoming too powerful, the sauce is plated on the bottom, with the potato resting atop it. Visually, this looks like mashed potatoes served underneath a protein, and it plays the same role texturally -- but because you wouldn't serve potatoes with a potato, the sauce is a lighter accompaniment, whose flavor marries perfectly with the more complex sauce coming from above, and you cannot help but marvel at this stroke of culinary magic. Just wow. I finished with a dessert of Key Lime Budino, which was rich and creamy with a serious hit of sour from the Key Lime. A nice and refreshing shift after the savory richness of my entree. How lucky are the people of Newhall and Santa Clarita that they have a restaurant making such interesting and excellent food? I come up at least once a month for a music event, and how lucky am I to have discovered this place to eat beforehand? And by the way: if you live in the San Fernando Valley, this place is really less than 30 minutes away (without traffic), so the next time you're thinking of going over the hill to a place in Beverly Hills or Santa Monica, you may want to head North instead. I promise you, The Old Town Junction will become your new favorite.

The dish was beautifully balanced: perfectly poached eggs resting over fresh spinach, topped with a smooth, rich hollandaise that tied everything together. The flavors were clean, fresh, and well executed. What stood out most was how fresh and flavorful everything tasted.
