This place is going to be our GO TO for Chinese! We came here on a Thursday night around 6 pm, and it wasn't too busy. We were able to get a table for 5 right away. The inside is very small so the restaurant can't hold a huge party of over 8 people. We were lucky to get a spot. There was an older gentleman serving all the tables, and he took our order after a few minutes. We got the orange peel beef, honey walnut shrimp, house chowmein with beef, chicken, and shrimp, and the server suggested we get the house chicken. It also came with white rice on the side. They brought out crispy noodles as an appetizer with sweet sauce. Our food arrived and everything was delicious! The chowmein was super tasty, loved all the meat, and the house chicken was BOMB.COM! That was our favorite. My kids loved it. Honey walnut shrimp and orange beef were great, but the sauce was overpowering. As we were eating, the restaurant got super busy with a lot of people getting take out and a lot of people standing at the door. I like the tofu dish they have! It's bean curd with vegetables on the menu. It's as close as I can get to American Chinese food in this area, that tastes good. However their rice is sub par. And the vegetable egg rolls are typical frozen egg rolls that are mushy inside and taste strongly of ginger. But overall my family enjoyed everything. read more

Haven't visited EggRoll Kong for MANY years. Decided to try it recently. We always have remembered Tom, the owner, fondly and we like doing business locally. The place is still much the same as it was 20+ years ago. Clean, well-kept and friendly. A very nice, friendly young man took our order and he and Tom served it all. She had the House Special Chow Mein. I had the pork Mushu. Appetizer was Cream Cheese Dumplings. ALL OF IT was very tasty. The servings were quite large (we got to-go boxes). I took our feast home and we dined on the great traditional American/Chinese food from The Egg Roll King. My girl and I had way too much food! Sweet and Sour Pork was as good as it can be. We just moved into the area and my son wanted Chinese food for his birthday dinner, specifically Honey Walnut Shrimp and Orange Chicken. So I ordered 4 items: those two plus Chicken Chow Mein and Kung Pao Chicken. I can say it was good. Not great. I think it was all pretty standard except the Chicken Chow Mein had a little more flavor. That was probably my favorite thing because it tasted different. My kids thought everything was just ok also. It's a small sit down restaurant. It was pretty packed for a Tuesday night. The service from the phone call to inside the restaurant was very good. Very friendly. We have lived across the street for decades and I convinced my parents (we're Chinese) they need to try it since they're running out of good Chinese food options. They are pretty particular when it comes to Chinese food and they were impressed. One thing to note is that the pricing on the menu here is not correct. The prices were all higher by about 5 dollars. Salt and pepper fish - fried perfectly, very fresh and hearty pieces of fish. Slightly spicy. I added green beans (75 cents charge). Bean curd and veggies - very good size portion, good flavor. Bean curd could be fresher in my opinion. House special chicken - I usually don't like sweet flavors for dishes that I prefer savory, but this had a really nice sweetness to the sauce. I liked it and went well with rice. Also good size portion. Mu shu pork - great ingredients and portion, has that wok fired flavor. Personally I would have liked a little more salt for this dish, but it did come with a delicious dipping sauce that helped balance the flavor. Definitely recommend. Place your order early because they do get busy with phone/app orders. I waited about 45 mins for my order. read more
