Inventive eggrolls in Camp North End! We went on a Friday evening around 7:30pm, and there were still a lot of people ordering and waiting for orders despite them closing soon at 8pm (which seems early for a weekend). We ordered 2 rolls, one with a side of fries, and they texted us when they were ready in about 15 min. There's plenty of outdoor seating around the area. We got the Uptown Steak, which comes with a spicy dipping sauce, and a Pizza, which comes with marinara. They were both tasty with lots of fillings. And they are filling. I thought we might be hungry with just 2, but we ended up taking home leftovers. Didn't help that the only side offered was fries. I could go for some veggies after this heavy meal. Grab lots of napkins because the eggrolls are very oily. I'm glad I tried it but probably wouldn't get these again since I was feeling very full and sluggish afterward.

I finally made it to the Eggroll Company. I placed a small order to sample a few different eggrolls. My favorite was the chicken and bacon. The customer service was excellent.

I came here for a business lunch that was recommended to us, I didn't know what to expect. This was my first time trying eggrolls "the none traditional way" so I was definitely looking forward to the experience. The location is a big food court with different options of food to choose from. I order a chicken bacon ranch eggroll and a mango lemonade. First of, that lemonade was so f***ing good! I should have bought two more for my room that night. It was a few more flavors select from. The eggrolls were stuffed with meat, vegetables, cheese and bacon on top. They had their own sauce to dip in the eggroll that was good as well. 4 out of 5 because the bacon on top. That was very hard for me and I could have done without it. If you are a fan of eggrolls, they have multiple options of what to stuff them with but this would be a place for you to check out in Charlotte.

Great customer service. The food was made to order so it was hot and fresh. They offered combo meals and also dessert. The eggroll was stuffed but it was flavorless. The fries and homemade ranch were a 10/10. I wish the veggie delight had some seasoning in it. It was very bland. Other than that, it would be 5 stars.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try and it didn't disappoint. It's in the food court of Camp North End. A neat little area. The service was fast. The food was excellent. We had the chicken bacon ranch roll which was bursting with flavor. We also enjoyed the apple pie.

Finally made my way down to Vamp North End! I went down there specifically to check out a couple of food spots and of course, the Eggroll company was on the list. Got 3 egg tools. 1.. Peach cobbler 2. Chicken bacon ranch 3. Steak All 3 were a 10/10! The line wasn't long at all. Maybe 8-10 people ahead of me. It was definitely worth the hype!

Great portions to along with great prices. We got a ton of food and three drinks for $45. Had the uptown chicken (x2), uptown steak and a basket of fries. Flavor was there. However, it is really greasy. Would've rated higher if it was less greasy. I know that egg rolls are fried. It was dripping with grease after every bite. Definitely lived up to the hype.

My sis treated me to lunch, and since I've always wanted to try this place out we headed to camp north end! Camp north end is a whole vibe with some thing for everyone! Beer, wine, coffee, ice cream etc. And now eggrolls! I was never able to catch the food truck, but I'm so happy they have a spot at the camp now! When we arrived there was a long line! The line moved slow as they only had one ordering station, but the weather and the vibes were so nice so that helped with the wait! It was a fairly easy and quick ordering system, and even though after ordering we were told that the wait would be about 45 min, we received our food much faster! My friend ordered the steak, bacon and ranch eggroll, fries and a uptown chicken eggroll for the kids. I ordered the uptown steak eggroll and the apple pie eggroll. The uptown steak was good but the STAR of the show was the apple pie eggroll!!! It was sooooooooooooooooooo delicious, I was worried it would be too sweet, but it was perfect, I ought to be embarrassed the way I devoured it! We were all able to share one order of fries between 4 ppl, my friend mentioned how she felt the food was reasonably priced for what you get and I agree. We sat at a table on the patio and enjoyed our food. I believe the owner of the business was the one who took our order, she was patient and polite. If in the area, this will def be a must stop for me! Give Eggroll Company a try, you will be happy you did!

An orgasmic experience. Your taste buds are not ready. The service was nice and they were quick. I love that there's different options of seating here.

I have been waiting for a long time to visit this place since Mr Chime time posted his first video on them about the food truck. I was very impressed by how fresh and hot the Eggrolls were. The flavors were so delicious and the eggroll part was crispy. The space is kinda small but the staff was friendly and I will definitely be back.

Somehow we recently stumbled upon Camp Northend. We had been once before and obviously were on the wrong side because we missed all the actual food spots. We got here about 20 minutes before they closed and line was pretty long; it moved quickly. The woman taking orders was helpful and friendly. A few customers were trying to gauge how much to order and I'll say one egg roll is enough. Hubby ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch and I got the Uptown Chicken. We also ordered a side of fries and an Apple pie. They text you when your order is ready. Our order was ready about 20 minutes later. It looked delicious and so we sat at the tables alongside the restaurant to enjoy it fresh. The portions are hearty, filling and greasy. The top is very cheesy so it seems like they add the cheese after splitting it. The Uptown chicken is good but without the dipping sauce it's definitely lacking something. The fries have a little flair because it's seasoned either way a little more than salt&pepper.

Uptown steak with that spicy avocado ranch was fire! And I'm not a ranch person. I was so full with one. Got the apple pie one to split with hubby. It was ok. I can see myself returning!

The Uptown steak Eggroll was flavorful and fresh. Not a premade roll. My favorite was the Apple pie roll. If you are ever in the area. Give these folks a try.

I wrote a separate review for that one, which was out of your mind amazing, and when I come back, there are so many other places I have to try. There's an Italian place that makes noodles from scratch every day, so that's my goal for the next visit. My husband had a Cuban sandwich, and he said that was the best he's ever had. Review for Optimist Hall…read more As a foodie who relocated to Charlotte from the San Francisco Bay Area, I naturally compare food halls to the iconic Ferry Building Marketplace. Optimist Hall reminds me of it -- it definitely aspires to that kind of destination experience -- but it's not quite in the same league. That said, it's still one of Charlotte's most vibrant and enjoyable places to gather and eat. This is an upscale food hall with a wide variety of options -- beer, wine, cocktails, global cuisines, retail, and plenty of energy. I've tried many of the stalls, and the diversity is impressive. There's truly something for everyone, which makes it a great place to visit with friends or family. Parking is generally easy, and the space is clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. The bathrooms are well-maintained, which always matters. One challenge is seating -- there never quite seems to be enough, especially during peak times. Like many food halls, there can also be turnover among vendors, which is a bit unfortunate when you find a favorite. The setup here reflects what you often see in the Southeast: surface parking rather than garages or robust public transportation. It works, but it's different from West Coast infrastructure where you might hop on BART or a streetcar and arrive right at the door. Where Optimist Hall really shines is as a social destination. It's perfect for a group outing -- almost like a modern food truck rally. One person claims a table while everyone else explores, then you come back together, share dishes, and break bread. That communal experience is what makes this place special. It's a big wide world out there. Be curious -- and bon appétit.
