My only negatibmve was that the sausage gemrave could use a little salt, BUT AMazingky there were condiments on the table. I know it sounds so petty, but it is a bit thing that a reataurant outs salt pepper and sweetener on the table. Iverall rave reviews for the food for flavor quality and presentation. What can I say? I love a good breakfast place. The menu is full of wonderful choices. So far I have had the lobster Benedict, the crepes, and the raisin bread French toast. I have been delighted by all of them. The service has been attentive ( although I park at their door at 6am waiting for them to open at 7am). I will be eating here every morning that I am in town. read more

Loved this place! Friendly service, reasonable prices and good food. Our waitress Monic was super sweet and helpful! I was extra hungry today and went all out for the eggcetera burger. It was huge; i tried to convince myself that it was fairly healthy bc it had avocado and spinach on it ;) while I couldn't finish it i will say every bite was delicious, and the homemade chips were terrific! Hubby had the Buffalo chicken wrap and he said it was excellent as well. There were so many other items on the menu that caught my attention so i will definitely return when in the area again. read more

Wow!! A great breakfast/brunch spot. Yes, it's great! The menu is fantastic. Breakfast on one side and lunch on the other. Today we had breakfast, but alas that should be no surprise to anyone that regularly reads my posts. I love breakfast. Before I dive in to all the menu items we sampled, let's talk about the staff. Our server was Katerina and she was fabulous and fantastic. Or Fantabulous!! Super nice, sweet, friendly, and happy to provide great service! She made our experience that much nicer and memorable. I love it when our servers provide this level of an atmosphere to the establishment! Right on Katerina! You rock, even with your mask on! We had kids chocolate chip pancakes, spartan omelette, oatmeal, cinnamon apple French toast, strawberry cream cheese stuffed french toast. Yummy all around. The strawberry cream cheese French toast was the bomb! My spartan omelette was the bomb. I 86'd the mushrooms because I am allergic to those little buggers. The omelette lacked salt, but I prefer eggs to be salted at presentation not during cooking. Salting during the cooking process draws the moisture out of the eggs. So that's a no no for me. Good job. I am happy to add salt to my breakfast as needed. This place has a nice charm and a nice warm feel to it. A little industrial as you look up and still provide a great feel. We absolutely LOVE Eggcetera. The fact that it's family run really shines through on how personal you are treated here. So many breakfast and lunch options to choose from. We're usually come here for breakfast. My favorite is the western omelet with a side of pancakes and bacon. The menu says it's 3 eggs but id swear it's double that. I sometimes take half home for the next day. That is my definite go-to breakfast here. I also order grits on occasion. The portion is very generous as well. I'm kind of a bacon snob so while i prefer thick cut bacon, they definitely do justice to the regular cut served here. Usually nice and crispy. :-) The dining room is always decently clean and the serving staff is on point, constantly walking around with coffee refills and such. Rarely do we ever find ourselves looking around or waiting long for service. We always feel like family here and are so happy that we found this gem so close to home. :-) read more

Overall rating: 4 stars. Not a "Yay! I'm a fan" category of rating, as the general feel was "A-OK". Stars were for looks, staff, reviews from peers and food. Great homey feeling in the decor for a wide open space. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly; didn't rush us in our order and completion of meal. They checked up on us a couple times and made sure the coffee was hot. The day I went, the special was 2+2+2 and it equaled close to $6 ($5.95). The two eggs were cooked over easy, and had a nice and runny in the middle. Sometimes, you get eggs cooked sunny side up and if you don't eat them quick enough, the second yolk turns hard boiled because it sits cooking still. Not these. They ran with the wind and tasted great. Not too oily and not too seasoned (even though the picture looks like there's way too much butter. Trust me, it wasn't as heavy as it looks). The 2 strips of bacon were crispy and crunchy. The 2 pancakes... where else can you get two pancakes the size of your eggs, and feel like they're not going to weigh you down at the end. Which they didn't. They were dense enough to be fluffy but not act like a feathered pillow. The person I went with had something similar (they didn't get pancakes. If I recall, it was toast... I was there in June and am now reviewing in October). Everyone I talk to, asks me if I have been here, and although this check in and breakfast was my first and only, I would definitely go again and check out their other offerings. Eggcetera is your typical brunch place THAT JUST HAPPENS TO BE OPEN DAYS AFTER HURRICANE IAN. I noticed they were open Saturday (Oct 1st) after the storm. They may have been open before that. How they had power so soon I don't understand but I was beyond happy. Sunday I stopped by and ordered food. At the time, they had a very limited menu and were doing take-out only. Hey. Most of us were still out of power and hot food was still just a plain luxury. Pancakes and an omelette. Hell yeah. Went back again on Tuesday and ordered more. Sat on the patio with my dog and pretended like we weren't in the middle of a natural disaster. It was a welcomed break. What an amazing find for breakfast! Quick and friendly service and I must say I may have had the best omelet I've ever ate come out of their kitchen! Nestled in a large shopping center with plenty of parking Eggcetera is a large, bright space free from the normal cliché breakfast place clutter. We were whisked away quickly to a table where we retained service immediately! I ordered the build your own omelet which is served with your choice of a side and your choice of carb/starch. The food came out in a VERY timely manner, not too quick where you wondered if it was sitting there but not long enough where you started to wonder if they had to wait for the chickens to lay the eggs! It was BIG, and full of flavor. My coffee and water stayed full and the staff was extremely attentive seeming to work well as a team! Keep up the good work guys! It shows. Had lunch here and would never go back. We had a Reuben sandwich and the corned beef was hard, dry and flavorless. Our waitress Anisa was no where to be found to tell. When she finally came around and we let her know (after everyone finished eating) she simply said there's nothing she can do now, even though she's the one who never came to check in on us. The "manager" refused to take the sandwich off the bill and left us to pay for something inedible. I guess they'd rather have a bad review posted for their terrible customer service then to do the right thing. Nice, big, clean restaurant with not so good food. Our server was nice and staff friendly. My omelette had too much eggs (it was hard to find my veggies in it) but their grits was ok and portion was big and it even came with 2 pancakes which didn't taste very good. My daughter 's burger was ok and it came with a lot of fries. The kid's meal chocolate pancake came with milk or juice which my girl didn't want and their pancakes all tasted like the ones made out of box. The dessert crepe with strawberry and chocolate looked delicious with whipped cream but the crepe tasted awful and it was waste of money. Don't think we'll visit again. read more

I am not sure if I can even put this into words but this place has outstanding excellence not only in their food quality but the taste, freshness of ingredientes, service, cleanliness, prices, and environment. I would highly recommend anyone to visit them and try their delicious food. My husband ordered the big steak skillet and it was out of the world, he also requested to have some modifications in the food and they just made it exactly how he wanted it. My sister got the Corned beef hash and it was tasty and perfectly homemade seasoned, she got fresh fruits on the side that were beautifully served and super fresh. I got a Bacada Skillet that was out of this world and nicely served. The portion was just perfect! I requested to have gluten free toast and for my surprise they had it! Hello from Fort Myers post hurricane Ian. We have made a commitment to our community to support local business even more than have. (Note, I believe that local small business ARE THE BACKBONE OF AMERICA!). So on a new spot for lunch today, we tried Eggcetera. We had missed the lunch crowd, so there a few tables occupied with patrons. We got our coffee and Mimosa within a minute of sitting down. Our selections taken, it was very quick kitchen service. Speed rarely equals quality and presentation. Nothing of that at Eggcetera! My wife's California salad made my mouth water (2nd note, I'm not much of a greens eater). I had the Very Berry Waffles. Delicious! Oh yeah, I snuck in a side of sausage patties. (Note 3, I love sausage, it rarely likes me). Their's were great! The menu is broad, offering meals for just about any diet. Lastly and to the point, this eatery is definitely on the revisit list! Thanks for the excellent service and food! read more
