Absolutely incredible experience at Egg Bread everything from the first bite to the last was perfection The bread was soft fluffy and packed with flavor and you can tell they use high quality ingredients The balance of savory and slightly sweet was spot on and every item felt thoughtfully crafted The presentation was beautiful and the freshness really stood out The staff was friendly welcoming and made the whole visit even better This is one of those places you keep thinking about long after you leave easily one of the best spots I've tried highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back

went to eggbred for a sunday brunch. it was very good hangover foods and set me right for the day. The restaurant was pretty busy on a sunday and we had to wait about 25 mins. They had mostly indoor seating and some outdoor but we opted to head to the beach and eat there. Would definitely go again

This location is in a large shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking to be found. I visited late one Saturday morning. The woman at the register was quite pleasant as I ordered a chorizo, egg, and cheese sandwich and a bottle of Coke (the latter she had to open). I was given a pager and took a seat at one of the tables. It took about 12 minutes before my pager buzzed and I picked up my sandwich at the counter. The chorizo patty was moderately spicy for me (which means "mildly spicy" to most people) and was delicious, even more so with the melted cheese and over-medium egg. The bun was fresh yet sturdy. They have a number of egg sandwiches on the menu and a couple that are "eggless". It's a decent option if you're in the mood for some breakfasty food in a fast-casual setting.

Everything I ordered was so good! The scrambled eggs in the Scramble Me Softly were super soft and went perfectly with the caramelized onions! The Truffle Crunch Burger was great too as its patty was really flavorful. The Ribeye California Burrito was another favorite! The ribeye was super tender & I loved that it came with plenty of avocado. The Chorizo Chili Cheese Hash is also so delish, it's my pick! The place was clean and the staff were friendly. I'd definitely come back!

Placed an order for pickup using the Toast app. I was in a big rush and wasn't sure if my order would be ready when I had arrived. I was early by good 15+ minutes. Well just like a typical EggBred fashion, IT SURE WAS! Service was friendly and efficient also. Zero wait, immediate acknowledgment, and I trotted in and out of the restaurant in less than a minute. So incredible!! My food was hot, fresh, and super tasty too. The inside of restaurant was also really clean and organized. Parking plenty available right outside the restaurant and free. I know where I'm going the next time I'm back in Seal Beach!

We tried the egg soft sandwich with the bacon on the side and beer battered potato. Food was freshly prepared and very delicious. The coffee was very very good. I am surprised to find such good coffee here. Prices are a little bit on the expensive size for breakfast but I would still recommend to give this place a try. Friendly service. Indoor seating only. Easy to find parking.

Finally tried Eggbred and it definitely lived up to the hype. Came in hungry and ended up ordering more than I should have, but no regrets. The mixed berries cheesecake waffles were easily my favorite. Sweet without being too heavy and the cheesecake flavor actually comes through. I'd come back just for this. The chorizo egg and cheese is exactly what you picture when you think of a breakfast sandwich. Simple, flavorful, and just hits. The ribeye California burrito was solid, but the salsa really stood out. Super fresh with a clean flavor that ties everything together. Tried The Ben Franklin and honestly the Benedict sauce is the star. It's one of those sauces you could put on anything. Definitely a must. Also had the breakfast poutines and the potatoes were nice and crispy, which made it a great side to everything else. Overall, everything was consistently good across the board. Great flavors, solid portions, and worth checking out. I'll definitely be back.

I work nearby and decided to swing in to try things out and wow! The overall energy in here is high and the staff is fantastic. I ordered a basic egg sandwich in here (forgot to take a pic) and love every bite. The portions are good with the egg to bread ratio. I also tried the potato wedges, which were delectable with or without ketchup! Can't wait to try it again.

EggBred - Seal Beach - Orange County If you love breakfast sandwiches that actually feel like a meal and not just something slapped together, EggBred is worth checking out. I went to the Seal Beach location and it was a great vibe for families and foodies it has elevated brunch food with some creativity and care behind it. The bread is the star of the show, that soft, slightly sweet bun holds everything together without falling apart. You can tell they actually thought about the sandwich structure (which matters when there's runny yolk and sauce involved). I've tried the sausage & egg, sandwich and it is legit. The sandwich had great flavor and the runny egg with hot sauce combo was great. The menu overall is way more interesting than your standard bacon-egg-cheese spot. They've got options like waffles and non breakfast items. The ambiance is clean, modern, and totally Instagrammable. It feels kind of like if a boutique coffee shop and a breakfast diner had a baby. The staff is friendly and you can tell they actually care about presentation. My only real knock was I sat next to trash cans and had some insects flying around. Not terrible, but definitely noticeable so sit away from back of restaurant. The prices are good for a breakfast sandwiches ($10-14 range), and the quality backs it up. All in all, EggBred is easily one of the better new brunch concepts in Orange County, its creative menu, top-tier bread, great flavors. Just be patient because it was packed and understandably I now know way. Ask for extra sauce on the side as it flavors their sandwich's.

A must visit while in Seal Beach! I was visiting Seal Beach and decided to give Eggbred a try--and I'm so glad I did. This place is an absolute standout. The breakfast sandwiches are incredible: fresh ingredients, amazing flavors, and just the right balance of hearty and delicious. It was easily one of the best meals I had on my trip. The staff made the experience even better. They were warm, welcoming, and quick with service, even during the morning rush. The whole place has a relaxed, beach-town vibe that fits Seal Beach perfectly. If you're visiting the area, don't miss Eggbred. It's the kind of spot that makes you wish you lived closer so you could come back every weekend. Highly recommend!

The view of the sand, rocks, beach, and sunset made the ambience really special and created the perfect beachside atmosphere. I ordered the Wild Atlantic salmon and an espresso martini and both were excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the espresso martini was one of the best I've had. Brian was our bartender and the service really stood out. Drinks were deliciously made, the energy at the bar was fun and welcoming. He made sure everything was very well taken care of throughout the night. Between the food, service, beautiful views, and the fact that it's pet friendly, it made for such a nice experience. It was a beautiful warm Spring day (73 degrees) and we were excited to eat with the great ocean view from The Beach House Seal Beach. Paid for 2 hours of parking and walked over to the restaurant. It was only when we entered the gate where the hostess is that we saw a small sign that said, "Closed." WAIT WHAT???? No indication in the parking lot, no sign at the sidewalk, no sign walking down the walk way. The ONLY notice was buried around a corner saying Closed. We were told they were short staffed and had to close early, sorry. As we walked back to the car, we stopped at least 4 other cars and told them the restaurant was closed. We were able to alert them so they did not pay for parking at a CLOSED restaurant. It felt like the restaurant had NO consideration for the customers. To have NO sign anywhere near where customers would be parking to notify us of a totally unexpected, unanticipated, highly unusual CLOSING at 4 pm for a restaurant that was supposed to be open until 10 pm!!!!! So I called from my car in the parking lot and asked to speak to the manager. When the manager got on he explained that they were short staffed and had to close early. I discussed the lack of notice to customers and how we paid for 2 hours of beach parking. Manager was nice and polite and totally unresponsive to the fact we paid money to visit his restaurant and now had no where to eat and were out the parking fees. I recommended they post a notice where customers could see they were closed BEFORE we paid for our parking. He said they would do it after they finished closing out. I insisted it was only fair that they notified their customers FIRST. So, as we were leaving we saw an employee come out and post a sign. I took a photo because no one would believe how inadequate their posting was if I just described it. The sign is micro small. You can see our car at the bottom of the photo. Would you notice this CLOSED sign? Come on Beach House. We know you can do better for your customers.

Bristy, our server, thoroughly explained the details of certain dishes such as the Mac & Cheetos. She also checked in on our table throughout the meal and came around often to refill our water. As for the food itself, it was very delicious. My favorite dish was the artichokes. They had a somewhat smoky flavor and the outermost leaves were crunchy and a nice contrast to the soft inside of the artichokes. They were also served in a tangy sauce that complimented the vegetable well. My friend's favorite item was the macaroni and cheese. It was chewy and creamy, and the pasta, which Bristy informed us was made in-house, was what my friend thought elevated the dish because it was a nice texture. We additionally ordered the gumbo which was also tasty but not as yummy as the other two dishes that we ordered. It is not a spicy dish if one is concerned about spice level. As for the ambiance of the restaurant, we enjoyed how the atmosphere felt casual and almost like you were sitting in somebody's house (the wallpaper and interior design is pretty) while still maintaining an elegant aesthetic design. There is inside seating what looks like a converted house? There is outside seating at tables or at the bar. The menu was interesting which had a theme of shrimp; there was eggs Benedict with shrimp, but not an item to order a regular one without it? Sure maybe could have ordered and asked without shrimp but pay the same price? Pass. Ok when I called they mentioned they serve brunch until 3? 3:30 I can't remember. The server mentioned they serve the brunch all day? Either way when I got to ordering this month on the menu it highlighted the shrimp po boy. I tried to order and nope, out. How can you be out of the item highlighted as the special in the middle of the day? When the place is not packed? I tried to order the lobster roll and again, out. I was tempted to order their short rib poutine since in theory it sounded good, but at this point I tried something simple I would hope they have in the kitchen chicken and waffles. The plate came and it looks good. If you look at the picture at the bottom of the chicken you can see a dark something. As I lift my chicken I found a huge burnt piece of breading pictured next. On top of the chicken is green onion I think? Who eats that with chicken and waffles? If I am wrong, a garnish is totally unnecessary for this dish. The chicken was moist. There are spices in the flour breading I can see but hard to taste what it is. The waffle is a hard pass for me. The waffle was crispy which is good, but also thin and dry and I couldn't taste any sweetness until I put maple syrup on it. The syrup came out warm which was nice. It's clear watching the people at the bar this is a local hangout. The chicken and waffles were $19 which if I was in the bay I think it's about right, but I think a little high considering the level of food I got. Supposedly this place is packed specifically on Sundays. The server doesn't know why? I'm not interested to even try to come back for a second chance and just be told sold out of the menu.

You're telling me dozens of people are stuck waiting forever while there's plenty of room inside? It's giving manufactured crowd and poor management. To make it worse, they stopped serving drinks and turned the lights on at 1:15 AM, way earlier than literally any normal bar. So after wasting hours in line, you barely even get time inside. And it somehow gets worse -- at 1:35 AM they were literally kicking people out of the restroom. We weren't even allowed to finish or wash our hands before being rushed out. It was raining so we sat inside and the interior dining space took me back 50 years ago to sitting in a booth with my family when it was called "Little Ship's Galley". Obviously the new owners have redone and expanded the outdoor and indoor dining areas but the vibe to me is just as personable and inviting as I remember it. Alexandria, one of our servers, was so friendly and we also had another server taking care of our table who was just as attentive so our coffee cups were full and kept warm. Food: consistently great and generously portioned. You could easily share one meal but the birthday boy wanted the Country fried steak with biscuits and gravy and I narrowed my order down to a Mexican Omelette, subbing carne asada out for Ortega chili with hash browns and blueberry muffin as my sides. Since it was a birthday celebration, Mimosas and a cinnamon roll were obligatory and delicious!! Food reviews and suggestions: the Country Breakfast is huge and my hubby, former Texan, claimed that the chicken fried steak was as good as it gets along with the biscuits and gravy. My omelette was also huge and stuffed so much so that I could only eat about half, boxing the remaining omelette, muffin and hash browns to go. The cinnamon roll was so soft, cinnamony and delicious. I'd also recommend from past visits, the pancakes, waffles and eggs Benedict. To sweeten our breakfast experience, Alexandria brought my husband a Birthday Sundae with 2 spoons. Somehow we made room and finished the bowl. Schooner or Later is a great place to relish old memories and make new memories with family and friends. On a warm day, be prepared to wait because their outdoor waterfront patio fills up quickly. It was more crowded than we thought on a rainy day because the food is so good!!

I sat at the bar where the cooks prepare the food right in front of you, and unfortunately what I saw was really concerning. None of the cooks were wearing gloves, and they were handling multiple ingredients with their bare hands--cheese, lettuce, and avocados--without washing their hands between items. I have an avocado allergy, so watching that level of cross-contamination made me very uncomfortable. Food allergies are serious, and restaurants should take better precautions. The food itself was mediocre, and after seeing the food handling practices I couldn't enjoy the meal. After driving such a long distance to try this place, it was a big disappointment. I personally won't be returning.

He was kind, polite, and carried himself with such warmth -- and yes, those curls were beautiful. He set the tone for the entire experience. Demetrius seated us, and our server Joe took great care of us. For starters, we ordered the wedge salad and the meatballs. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, we had the grilled salmon with bok choy and mashed potatoes, and the steak sandwich with French fries. Everything was delicious, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The ambience was wonderful. They have a full bar, and you can watch the chefs prepare dishes right from your table, which adds to the experience. I also appreciated seeing the general manager actively running food and engaging with guests -- leadership like that shows. Another thing that stood out was how clean and organized the restaurant stayed. The moment a table was vacated, it was cleared and reset within minutes. Everything looked spotless. There's so much on the menu that I want to come back and try. I highly recommend this place. And last but definitely not least -- thank you, Demetrius, for noticing my parking time had expired and getting me that extra 15 minutes. You saved me a ticket. You're a true gem. I'll be back to Saint & Second very soon.

The Bake Mac & Cheese is a must-order--the crunchy topping is easily the best part and gives it such a great texture. We also tried the Grilled Provoleta. It's a seared provolone with portobello mushrooms and pickled peppers; it doesn't have a typical "cheese pull," but the flavors are incredible and it feels surprisingly light for a cheese dish. The 1st-floor outdoor patio is super comfortable and dog-friendly, making it the perfect spot to relax. Highly recommend if you're in Long Beach with your pup!
