It was my first time here and I will definitely come back. As soon as I walked in the guys and the girl with brown hair greeted me well. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and it was well done to my taste. Everything was well cleaned and it felt good to sit down and eat. Good Customer Service. read more

I visited over the weekend without knowing what to expect. The restaurant itself is casual dining (order at the counter), with seating inside and two tables outside. The menu is egg- and fried chicken- based. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich (delicious; the bun was amazing), and my friend got a fried chicken breakfast sandwich (also delicious) with a side of gravy. There's lots of parking and it's an accessible location. I expect I'll be back! read more

Service was fast and friendly. The menu is extensive. The texture of the egg in the sandwich was buttery and creamy. The bun to egg ratio is off - would prefer more filling. read more

It's disappointing when local spots have such a low bar for quality. We tried Egg Bread today and were met with a freezing dining room-like an ice hockey rink- and a long wait for mediocre food. The "bacon" sandwich featured wilted bacon and a smell of old fryer grease in the sandwiches. Even the coffee failed to meet a basic standard. While the potatoes were a highlight and the waffle was decent, the service was chaotic. The staff seemed well-meaning but totally untrained--missing utensils and forgotten cream shouldn't happen when you're paying these prices. Compared to a high-caliber spot like Bake n' Broil, this just doesn't compete. Even McDonald's feels like a step up at this point. We should have stuck with our original plan and go to Ihop- Next time. Ufortunately, we won't be coming back. read more

I always wanted to stop here as it cute and inviting. Finally I did since I was hungry after exercise class and running errands in nearby stores. Not sure about other locations but after waiting for 30 min for a to go order, I was told it wasn't ready and offered a refund. I was very disappointed but was seeing others in the same situation so cannot comment on the food. Not sure how they will improve but I wont go back. read more

Tried this place again after the horrible experience last time and we will not be returning. The food is good which is a bummer. We ordered three items. Then at pick up the order was incorrect. They blamed the way we ordered three items. One burrito, one sandwich, and one burrito again. Said we needed to order the burritos together. I'm sorry but I we recited the order as people round us gave it. If there was confusion they should have repeated the order. Once we got there they gave us two sandwiches and one burrito. And told us it was our fault. We left without the burrito as they had to make the burrito and it was going to take more time. And they didn't offer to fix it. It's too bad because it's a great place and close to our home. read more

After church, decided to stop by for a burger. Their truffle burger was about $13. The gentleman who helped was incredibly helpful. Told me to try the anything rib eye as my choice of meal next time, and I will! He also advised to get the green salsa and it was so tasty! It was a busy place but clean and new! They have small Tabasco packets go to! Love it! Ohhhhh and let's not forget the beer batter fries. It's a must. Best of all, they play worship music! Very delicious breakfast spot! I got the bacon egg and cheese with scrambled eggs (I'm not a runny egg person) and it was soo good. The spicy ketchup on it really made the sandwich for me. We also got the potatoes and they were perfectly seasoned. The staff were really nice and fast with our ordering, the food did take a little bit to come out but they were pretty swamped in there. There's a decent amount of seating inside but we opted to go eat by a pretty view in the car. read more

I walked in to a really clean and beautifully decorated breakfast spot. The staff was really friendly and helped me work through the numerous items on the menu. I ordered something from different sections because I wanted to try a little of everything: bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, carne asada breakfast burrito, chili cheese chorizo hash. ALL were delicious. The coffee was different than I expected because it didn't come flavored but they had different creamers to choose from so it was overall okay. I would definitely recommend this place and they have so many locations. If you like Eggsl*t then you'll love this place! read more

This location is in a large shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking to be found. I visited late one Saturday morning. The woman at the register was quite pleasant as I ordered a chorizo, egg, and cheese sandwich and a bottle of Coke (the latter she had to open). I was given a pager and took a seat at one of the tables. It took about 12 minutes before my pager buzzed and I picked up my sandwich at the counter. The chorizo patty was moderately spicy for me (which means "mildly spicy" to most people) and was delicious, even more so with the melted cheese and over-medium egg. The bun was fresh yet sturdy. They have a number of egg sandwiches on the menu and a couple that are "eggless". It's a decent option if you're in the mood for some breakfasty food in a fast-casual setting. read more

Well just like a typical EggBred fashion, IT SURE WAS! Service was friendly and efficient also. Zero wait, immediate acknowledgment, and I trotted in and out of the restaurant in less than a minute. So incredible!! My food was hot, fresh, and super tasty too. The inside of restaurant was also really clean and organized. Parking plenty available right outside the restaurant and free. We tried the egg soft sandwich with the bacon on the side and beer battered potato. Food was freshly prepared and very delicious. The coffee was very very good. I told the cashier that I'm a vegetarian and ordered the Impossible sausage, egg and cheese sandwich, but she served me meat anyway. Then she claimed, "We don't have vegetarian options," which is not true, and wasn't said when I ordered the sandwich. I think she did it on purpose. Then another customer got in my face for even trying to question her about it. Suffice it to say, the service there is terrible and the ambiance is even worse. I hope you have a better experience than I did if you go there. read more

Everything I ordered was so good! The scrambled eggs in the Scramble Me Softly were super soft and went perfectly with the caramelized onions! The Truffle Crunch Burger was great too as its patty was really flavorful. The Ribeye California Burrito was another favorite! This place is fantastic. The menu is so unique and the items are so creative. I don't get why people give this place such a mediocre reviews. Definitely a five star experience loved everything had a fried chicken sandwich Nashville heat, and it was to die for. Just checking in Bres was a real chicken breast and the crisp of the of the coding was fantastic. The bread was fantastic. I can't say enough about it. Definitely will be back next week for something different. I think. I'll try the poutine. I'll let everyone know how it goes on round two. read more

2.5/5 - Great flavor, but the real portion looks like the small ones in the Yelp photos. I can understand this could be due to economy pressure. I ordered the Scramble Me Softly from Egg Bread in Seal Beach via Uber Eats. The flavor was honestly excellent - soft eggs, good seasoning, and toppings inside were tasty. But the portion size was a letdown. The photos on Uber Eats make it look big and fluffy, but what I got matched the small, flattened portions you see on Yelp - a small scoop of eggs and understandable flattened pieces of brioche. It tasted good, just not enough food for the price. Great flavor, very small portion. I'd find value and justification to get it again if the serving size felt more true to the Uber Eats pictures... Or if I'm pressed for convenience. read more

I work nearby and decided to swing in to try things out and wow! The overall energy in here is high and the staff is fantastic. I ordered a basic egg sandwich in here (forgot to take a pic) and love every bite. The portions are good with the egg to bread ratio. I also tried the potato wedges, which were delectable with or without ketchup! Can't wait to try it again. read more

Tried the steak breakfast Burrito and it was amazing, my only regret was splitting it with my wife and not eating the whole thing! Haha I later that week had the big country burrito which was great aswell. It was a hefty burrito not the best flavor especially when I compare to the steak one. The sauces are a great addition. Definitely worth a try! Can't wait to visit again read more

EggBred - Seal Beach - Orange County If you love breakfast sandwiches that actually feel like a meal and not just something slapped together, EggBred is worth checking out. I went to the Seal Beach location and it was a great vibe for families and foodies it has elevated brunch food with some creativity and care behind it. The bread is the star of the show, that soft, slightly sweet bun holds everything together without falling apart. You can tell they actually thought about the sandwich structure (which matters when there's runny yolk and sauce involved). I've tried the sausage & egg, sandwich and it is legit. The sandwich had great flavor and the runny egg with hot sauce combo was great. The menu overall is way more interesting than your standard bacon-egg-cheese spot. They've got options like waffles and non breakfast items. The ambiance is clean, modern, and totally Instagrammable. It feels kind of like if a boutique coffee shop and a breakfast diner had a baby. The staff is friendly and you can tell they actually care about presentation. My only real knock was I sat next to trash cans and had some insects flying around. Not terrible, but definitely noticeable so sit away from back of restaurant. The prices are good for a breakfast sandwiches ($10-14 range), and the quality backs it up. All in all, EggBred is easily one of the better new brunch concepts in Orange County, its creative menu, top-tier bread, great flavors. Just be patient because it was packed and understandably I now know way. Ask for extra sauce on the side as it flavors their sandwich's. read more

Finally tried Eggbred and it definitely lived up to the hype. Came in hungry and ended up ordering more than I should have, but no regrets. The mixed berries cheesecake waffles were easily my favorite. Sweet without being too heavy and the cheesecake flavor actually comes through. I'd come back just for this. The chorizo egg and cheese is exactly what you picture when you think of a breakfast sandwich. Simple, flavorful, and just hits. The ribeye California burrito was solid, but the salsa really stood out. Super fresh with a clean flavor that ties everything together. Tried The Ben Franklin and honestly the Benedict sauce is the star. It's one of those sauces you could put on anything. Definitely a must. Also had the breakfast poutines and the potatoes were nice and crispy, which made it a great side to everything else. Overall, everything was consistently good across the board. Great flavors, solid portions, and worth checking out. I'll definitely be back. read more

A must visit while in Seal Beach! I was visiting Seal Beach and decided to give Eggbred a try--and I'm so glad I did. This place is an absolute standout. The breakfast sandwiches are incredible: fresh ingredients, amazing flavors, and just the right balance of hearty and delicious. It was easily one of the best meals I had on my trip. I can't believe it takes over 20 minutes to make one breakfast burrito. The food tasted great but it shouldn't take that long. Also, it's really difficult to hear your order when it's ready when the staff is blaring rap music first thing in the morning. One last thing - when a customer asks for the potatoes "on the side" instead of "inside" of the burrito, which would have been an additional $3.89, that's exactly what it means. I shouldn't have to repeat myself 3 times for the server to get it right. I would've skipped the negative Yelp review of the server's mishaps if only she would have apologized for the wrong/delayed order, but she never did. A little customer service goes a long way. As for me, I'm going next door to Burros & Fries for my next breakfast burrito. read more

I watched them build this place and finally decided to see what it is all about. As I entered I noticed the music playing in the background at a volume that made it background music. I ordered the cheddar cheese with chives biscuit and gravy. It took awhile and finally my buzzer started buzzing. I went to the counter and got my order. I immediately saw that there was a large amount of gravy with plenty of meat. I also noticed the gravy was not the usual white/grey as at other places. The biscuits were large and looked fresh. I took my first bite and discovered that instead of baking the cheese into the biscuits there was a thin piece of cheese placed on top and then the hot gravy was poured on and that melted the cheese. First bite and it was not what I expected as the gravy was somewhat spicy. Not too bad but if you don't like spicy then do not order this. The sausage did not have any flavor like I am used to. The biscuits were very good. The bottom line is I will go back, but I will order something else. read more

Food was delicious but the service was slow. Waited an extra 20 minutes on an online order. What a perfect addition to our neighborhood! The food here is amazing -- everything tastes super fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The breakfast sandwiches and burritos are seriously some of the best I've ever had -- the bread is soft, the eggs are perfectly cooked, and the ingredients are top quality.
