We went to Eggbert's in Claremore today and after our experience, we are very doubtful to return to any of the locations in the future as we found the food quite over priced for what you get. My girlfriend ordered Eggs Benedict as she typically does for Breakfast. When the plate came out, that's all it was, the eggs. No hash browns, no toast or biscuit and gravy, no nothing. When we questioned it, we were informed that's all that comes with the meal. We looked at the menu afterwards and sure enough, no other items were mentioned. We will take the responsibility on this one for not reading the menu closer but this has never happened before at other establishments and we didnt think there was a need to look into the other items being included. To order such a meal then ask for the basic side items to be included at their extra fees just isnt our idea of a proper system. Note: Our waitress was apologetic and was sincere in being sympathetic to the issue. She seemed embarrassed to it all. We appreciated her service during our visit. read more

God I love Eggbert's. The food is awesome, the decor is comfortable, the service is friendly, and the prices are great. Their breakfast food is top notch. Nothing fancy, but good country breakfast food is hard to beat. Their pancakes are better than their waffles though... I'm a local and absolutely love this place!! The best breakfast place around! One of those places that boasts many many local regulars and the waitresses still call people "doll" and "sweetheart" if they don't already know your name. The food is awesome and you get a ton for your money. A friend of mine and I went once and the manager felt like it took too long for us to get our food so the whole meal was on the house. It's got a fantastic small town feel and if you don't like Eggbert's, you're doing breakfast wrong. read more

Hard to go wrong w/breakfast food. Good skillets. No way to order pankaces as a side w/breakfast so if you want pancakes & eggs it will run over $10 before adding drink tax or tip. Careful ordering other meals it can be very greasy even for a greasy spoon diner. Service can be a gamble usually good. Stay away from older bitter waitress(es). Eggberts is probably my favorite place to eat in Claremore. I'd recommend trying the hangover burger, it's amazing!! Along with there other breakfast, lunch, and dinner items on the menu. It's right in the middle of town easy to locate right off HWY 66 and the always friendly service from the staff are a great dining experience. read more

Eggbert's has long been a staple of the breakfast crowd in Claremore. Food and service is good although a bit pricey for just a basic breakfast when you consider some of the other diners around town. I enjoy their sunriser skillet. Typically I average $25.00 for two (including tip). read more

The food is OK but we got robbed this morning. For two cups of ordinary coffee we were charged $3.78. My husband got two eggs, three pieces of bacon, hash browns and a Belgian waffle. There was an extra charge of $1.59 for the hash browns. I ordered the Santa Fe crepe and I thought there was a choice of either hash browns or fruit included with the crepe but there was an extra charge for the small fruit bowl. Our total bill was $26.30 and with the tip we paid $31 total. Talk about highway robbery! We'll go elsewhere for breakfast in the future. We can get a better breakfast for under $20 at Cracker Barrel and probably anywhere else too. read more

Claremore Eggberts is like Mother Teresa, old and worn on the outside but clean and well kept on the inside. I've dined at Eggberts numerous times, usually in the morning, but this was an evening meal with my sweetie. I ended up ordering an omelette, but that's the great thing about Eggberts, you can order breakfast anytime. I've had non breakfast meals here a couple of times and they were not bad but breakfast is always good at Eggberts. Our server seemed a little bit flustered. She took care of my wife's tea fine but I couldn't seem to get a water refill even after annoying straw sucking sounds I made to draw attention to the fact that my glass was empty. Eggberts has really went downhill in the past. The place is way too expensive for food that is served. The coffee is nasty and the quanity is small. If you go in the day time for breakfest you have a good chance of getting speddy service from a nice waitress but i will not ever go at night again. For a family of 4 to eat its about 45 dollars.
