Not only was the food delicious- the service was amazing. You know how sometimes you forget that you wanted salsa with your hash-browns? No worries that is something they ask you. As soon as people got up from the table, someone came in and cleaned it off. Yes I'm weird but if it's that well run on the floor- I know the kitchen is top notch. I had the veggie omelette with crispy hash browns ( you can choose reg or crispy and even add onions), and sourdough toast. My husband had eggs, pancakes ( syrup was warm, yum! I've been excited to check out this place with all the positive reviews popping up on my local feed. We finally got to stop by between errands on Sunday around 11:30am. I had no idea that this was a project of the same owners from Luigis! We are fans, so this was only good news to us. Christopher was our server, who immediately approached us with a carafe of coffee and was very friendly. They are open daily from 7am to 3pm, serve breakfast all day and lunch starts at 11am. You are seated and it's full service, but you pay at the front. As far as I can tell, they have been open less than 2 months. One of the owners rang us out and excitedly asked how we heard about them as they are so new- through Yelp, of course! This is in the old Beirut Mediterranean Grill building and the parking lot still says BMG. If you are unfamiliar, it's off Malone by the Dollar General. In some ways you can tell the place used to be a Mediterranean restaurant by the layout, it's separated into three dining areas. However, this space really suits them and has lovely, muted café artwork throughout. I'm really digging the décor and atmosphere. Restroom hallway is a bit hidden, go to the back, left dining area to find it. One thing I would have changed was the noise level. There was some echo, but it was mostly the clanging of dishes that I didn't care for. It was periodic, not constant, and our booth was kind of close to the bar so I might ask to be seated in the front side room next time. Note, I'm noise sensitive and it may not bother most people. There is a good selection of tables, half booth benches and full booths- more booths than I see in most restaurants and they were comfy too! I think the chairs having coffee cutouts is adorable! Anyways, you don't care about the chairs, let's get on to the good stuff. The menu is fairly large with a lot of breakfast items on one side and a decent lunch menu on the other. The prices are a little high for a cafe, but not outrageous. I felt the lunch was more in line with expectations and the breakfast side was $1 or so higher than I expected. They also seem quite flexible with substitutions. I felt like I wanted lunch, but I kept thinking of all those beautiful pictures of crepes. I personally wanted to try the Italian crepes, but needed protein. The menu lists that the American crepes come as a combo, but not the specialty crepes, wah! When Christopher came to check on us, my husband was ready with his typical burger and fries order, but I was still hemming and hawing. Christopher saved the day by suggesting I get the Americano combo for $9.59 and add Nutella for 50 cents and bananas for $1 to make it an Italian Crepe combo special for me! Genius- let's do it! The food didn't take too long considering the crowd, my guess would be 15 minutes or a little more. While waiting, I realized I didn't care for my sweet tea, it wasn't very sweet, but I liked my husband's Dr. Pepper. I'm just going to go ahead and tell you that my husband liked his food so I can move on to mine, lol! The burger was a good size for $7.99. It looked a tad over but he didn't complain and I knew he would prefer it over to under. I tried a couple of fries and they had crispy edges and were soft in the middle. The Italian crepes were really good! The crepes had just the right amount of crisp and the Nutella wasn't overpowering. I would have preferred my bananas sliced thinner but I easily did that myself with no effort. The sausage is typical spiced breakfast sausage and was cooked well, the bacon was nice. My only concern was the hash browns. I have a very specific egg allergy and it's easier for me to substitute things than to explain the details of my allergy and inquire how things are made. The hash browns were my substitute. I took one bite and I was satisfied with the good crispy top. Then I saw pieces of scrambled eggs in there. It wasn't a lot so I was separating it out when Christopher came by to check on us. I asked if they normally used the same pan for both and he seemed pretty upset to see the eggs mixed in. I told him that I didn't consume any and I would be fine, but my concern is that cross contamination could really induce bad reactions with other allergies. He immediately told the owner who vowed it would never happen again. Everyone seemed appropriately horrified and I know the owners high standards from his other restaurant. I'm sure this is a one time thing related to them being new and training a new staff, but it's pretty serious so I would suggest you be very specific in your communication of allergies in the meantime. One mistake will not stop me from returning, I saw lots of items on the menu that I want to taste! I think this place is doing really well for being so new and we enjoyed our visit overall. I really enjoyed this spot. I got the original breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash brown and pancakes. One thing with this place is you're allowed to substitute toast for pancakes. That is a win! On the surface, it's a typical strip mall diner, but that impression changes when you look at the menu. Plenty of trendy dishes (avocado toast) are side-by-side with traditional favorites. We were in town for a wedding weekend. We stopped here for our first breakfast and ordered the traditional eggs+hash browns+bacon+pancakes. All that for around $10. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. We went one more time for breakfast (French toast, yum!) and then stopped on our way out for lunch! The turkey wrap did not disappoint! I had Egg House Cafe today for the third time so I figured I might as well write a review! This place is so frickin good. I dined in for the first time this morning and the service was awesome! My coffee never got below the half way point! The first time I went I got the biscuits and gravy omelet, and that thing was so amazing. I figured I probably shouldn't get that today because I was going to work right after breakfast and I didn't want my boss to find me napping (again) so I decided to get the western skillet! It had mushrooms, onions, ham, hashbrowns, cheese and I chose scrambled eggs. It was definitely an amazing breakfast. Everyone is super friendly and checks on you frequently. Decor/Atmosphere 5/5: The place is very clean and very beautiful. It doesnt look like much from the outside, but the inside really makes you feel comfortable. Food 4/5: The food here has always been great however, there have been repeats of some not so good food. The hashbrowns are usually are either over cooked or very greasy. The burrito option shouldn't be cut in half. It makes it messy and difficult to eat without most of the contents spilling out. Husband and I tried this place for the first time this weekend. Went at prime weekend breakfast time and got sat down less than 20 mins from when we arrived. Food quality and prices are definitely worth an even longer wait. My husband had one of their scrambles with a side of the butteriest and fluffiest pancakes that were so delicious. I went traditional on my breakfast choice and prefer my eggs over easy, the egg house cafe cooked them to perfection. Can't remember the last time a restaurant cooked my eggs that perfectly. If you're an over easy eater you know how often these are botched. Even though they were busy all staff were still very polite and friendly. We had a party of 6 roll in at 10am on 3/26 for a good start to the day. They do not serve any alcohol so I am checking to see if it is okay to bring your own bottle as they have juices on the menu. My cappuccino was delicious, lots of delightful foam on top. They are very diligent when coming by to refill any coffee cups that might need it. They do offer sweet tea and coffee. The pancakes were nice, fluffy and had a light crisp on them. My hubby had ordered a skillet no egg with sausage gravy - the gravy did not come so we asked for a side. I ordered the waffle plate with 2 eggs, and 4 crispy bacon! My waffle was supposed to have the Marscapone cheese but did not and being in a hurry, I did not correct this BUT it was covered with a delightful mix of berries so I loved that. My friends also ordered chicken fried steak, another skillet and 2 of the yogurt granola bowls. All of it looked fantastic and I tasted the bowl and that was delicious. It is certainly a step above IHOP or the Egg & I! They did have some other good breakfast items I'm looking forward to trying more of the dishes soon! read more

Love coming to this place! Servers are always super friendly. Expect a small wait but never more than 10 minutes. I don't know what kind of coffee they use but it's one of my favorite I have had. From the outside it doesn't look like much but once you go inside it has a cute French American ambiance to it. The food and services was great!! Huge portions for a great price, staff knew the food and had great recommendations for picky eaters. Zack was our waiter and he had a great personality and was very helpful! Yelp needs half star options. I'd give the EHC a 3.5 I spose. Driving in, EHC is located in a tired strip mall, sorely in need of an updating. Once walking in however you get a much different feel. Soft yellow paint, matching booths, tasteful decor and some great low volume soft jazz. The place was very very clean which I appreciated. The restrooms however, while clean, could use an updating. I ordered coffee, the corned beef hash, crispy, 2 over medium eggs, tomatoes and 2 plain buttermilk pancakes. Coffee was fine, mild as expected. I would not say the corned beef was an overly generous portion, maybe 2/3 of a cup? But how much really should you get?? I ordered it crispy and in fact it was crispy. Unfortunately I think it was made crispy by grill frying it in some fryer oil and that took away from the flavor. My mistake I guess. The eggs came out a nice over medium as ordered. The pancakes have a nice flavor but not a light cake. More dense. Warm syrup was provided which was a nice touch. Bill was only $9.50 for the meal. $2.80 for the coffee. I will 100% come back but will prob try another option. read more

Ew...what can I say. I was having a great experience, and our server was doing her best to make our visit pleasant, although you could tell she was overworked as there was an obvious lack of staff. This all changed when the manager/owner(?) came out of the kitchen yelling at and looking completely dissatisfied with his clearly hard working staff. The food would've been good if it had actually tasted homemade, as they claim everything is. The manager raved about the coffee being imported from Italy, but it tasted the same if not worse than the coffee I pick up at Winco. He would act overly friendly with the customers and then two seconds later with an unprofessional attitude toward his mostly female staff. Literally just finished breakfast as I write this. From the time you walk in you are greeted and served by the friendliest staff. The food is EXCELLENT, your coffee cup is never empty and the service is super fast. There is a manager/owner constantly walking around making sure everyone is happy - and if his staff gets busy/overwhelmed he immediately jumps in to help (you rarely see management do that these days!).
