Costco avocado
Scott S.

Chilli was cold, chicken was dry, avacado spread looked like they got it from Costco. The service was good but the experience this time was weak. We have been here before so I'm not sure what changed but today wasn't worth $76 for breakfast. Oh, the grits looked they were made about two hours ago. I heard the guy on the other side of our table asking about the food as well implying it sat for a while before being brought to him.

Traditional breakfast and french toast

The food was amazing! Manager Rayan and the entire crew were very welcoming from the moment we walked in. Josseline, our waitress, was incredibly kind and attentive. They truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you for the great experience--keep up the good work!

Lobster Scrambler

Came here for the first time with some friends who are familiar with the chain, but not this location! It was so nice discovering this place that was near me. Instantly, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated right away! The interior was cozy and farmhouse-like, encapsulating the perfect breakfast place. I ordered the Lobster Scrambler, and our waitress was super sweet! Food came out super quickly and was steaming hot. The scramble was absolutely scrumptious with the chunks of lobster and seafood. The potatoes were flavorful and crispy, and the English muffin was soft and warm. The jam--wow the signature jam was amazing! Overall, an amazing breakfast experience and definitely will be returning!

Hitting this place on a Sunday was a chance, but we took it and found it very.. okay. The staff were slammed, we saw our waitress once but she was sweet and very kind. The menu is good but the food was pretty okay. The portions were also on the smaller side for the price. That said maybe it was our order. I tried the biscuits and gravy and my friend had the lobster omelet. The biscuit prortion was a single biscuit cut in half and the gravy, while tasty was kind of sparce. The potatoes, however, we're excellently seasoned. I'll give it another shot but we definitely needed a snack after.

We have been coming to Egg Harbor Cafe off and on after church for about 2 years now and it has never disappointed! Has there been an issue here and there... sure but generally they have always had descent service and good food. I have tried just about everything on the menu but my favorites are anything that has their marinated chicken in it. Man this stuff is good! But do get here early as more times then not they sell out and when it's out for the day it is out! The location is close to our hose and on the way home from church so it makes a perfect spot to stop at. The food in general is eggceptional. They do have cocktail options... bloody Mary's and mimosas as well as other things. They do barista style coffees as well that are also quite nice. This has become a go to place for Sunday brunch for us... it does get busy on Sundays so get your name in on the list or you could be waiting for a while. We truly enjoy it!

Best to PASS this place! Because I could not forget... - - - Food and Service were both terrible!! NOTHING came out as ordered. Under cooked, soggy and greasy. Our waitress couldn't be bothered. Took forever even to get our bill too. +. Only thing good about it was their empty parking lot.... That should've been the clue. WORST restaurant in at least a year! They may win that award for 2023. MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - - Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++ EDIBLE...WHERE have you been all my LiFe!

Strawberry Crunch French Toast and Iced Brown Sugar Latte
Ridhima Talsani ..

I went to Egg Harbor for brunch with my dad. I ordered the Strawberry Crunch French Toast and Iced Brown Sugar Latte. The presentation was so beautiful, with very pretty colors and fruits. I also enjoyed the iced latte being in a mason jar. The cream cheese was very light, not super sweet, also the fresh fruits were a great touch. The iced coffee was pretty good, but a little bitter and not sweet enough for me. But I liked the brown sugar flavor in the coffee. The overall food was amazing and the ambience of the cafe was very enjoyable!

The food was delicious and the service was great. One suggestion I have for those who are eager to eat here is to make sure you make reservations on the weekend. It can get busy and the wait may be extensive if there's a holiday or a typical brunch time. The overall atmosphere is a bit noisy but generally, you're able to have a conversation. I can't say enough about how nice the wait staff was and their patience with our questions. I highly recommend coming here but always make sure you're prepared when you do!

Went on a busy Sunday morning and waited about 20 minutes. The food came out quick and was delicious!

The interior was adorable but what impressed us the most was their approach to coffee. We had no idea there were so many different ways to process coffee beans so we ended up looking them up while enjoying our drinks. Once we learned more about them, we were so intrigued that we actually ordered some coffee online afterward! It was easy to see why this cafe is so popular. The line kept getting longer and longer the entire time we were there. It's a fairly small cafe so seating was pretty limited as well. I ordered the Latte with Caramel Cardamom and it was delicious! My husband got the Coffee Shot of Chamomile Pink Bourbon from their "Coffee Nerd Drinks" menu. He was especially interested in it because of the brewing method. I'm usually not a black coffee drinker but I tried a sip and was surprised by how much I liked it. There were still so many drinks we wanted to try but since this was only a weekend trip, we didn't have enough time. We'll definitely be visiting again the next time we're in the area!

I usually get a vanilla latte as my litmus test but I just had to try the girls breakfast. Which was fabulous. The cinny cold foam was A+. Also the baristas were very friendly! I'm only sad that I probably won't be up in the area for a long time but if I do come up there I will def be shopping by again.

We got it and it was very clean and modern. They have a space theme, but it seemed like that's what the initial idea was and it dropped off along the way. The setup is very similar to other cafes and their ice cream display was very nice. They have some interesting flavors like Hokey Pokey and we were able to get some samples which were all good. Myself and another opted for the 2 scoop cup and i got Hokey Pokey and the hazelnut chocolate (forgot the real name) and they were very good... but I was put off by one thing. Both of us got 2 different flavors and were charged a dollar more for it. That seems like a rip off and honestly left a bad taste. I thought it'd be a good option compared to Jeni's, but not with pricing like that. The scoops were also considerably smaller than Jeni's and Jeni's is a better deal and a better ice cream in my opinion. I'm not a fan of getting nickel and dimesd for something that shouldn't cost more. I'm sorry it took so much effort to scoop from another flavor. I won't do it again.

That aside it is made to look European but theme is all over the place. German/Austrian interior, with Italian and French food. The language tape in the bathroom is however teaching Korean and Chinese... I dined here about half a dozen times. It is a nice place with mixed results. Sometimes it is really good, other times not so much...in particular I could say Hummus is good, White Hot Chocolate, Bosco cake is delicious (imported from Italy). Service is good and servers are polite and friendly. Management is not great. If they are busy they will have a wait which could range up to an hour. In my experience one hour wait could turn out to be 10 minutes. Other times 40 minutes wait is actually 50 minutes. As I live close by I have attempted to call and put myself on the wait list and arrive when they are ready but management would not budge. This will be on their terms with zero flexibility... They also sell cakes but cakes are always turned away from the customer...I have not seen this anywhere else...it really points to the fact that management has little experience in hospitality industry.... Lastly this place does not accept cash. Not sure why since they are located in super safe area. Consequently a 5-star review is really a three star and perhaps I am being very generous here...
