The strawberry orange juice was divine. I had a latte with sugar-free vanilla and it was so yummy. I ordered the smoked salmon benedict and my hubs had the farm benedict. Both were delicious. Egg Harbor is one of my favorite breakfast places in Lake Geneva! Most recently visited on a bachelorette trip- I called ahead and they were able to accommodate our party of eight on a Saturday which we really appreciated! We were even able to sit on the back patio with heaters. It does tend to get busy, especially on weekend. I find the coffee drinks always hit the spot and I love how much variety in beverages there is to choose from! One of my new favorites is the iced brown sugar latte. I also had pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream w/ a side of scrambled eggs; overall a really tasty breakfast! The menu has quite a wide variety to choose overall- seems like there's something for everyone. Definitely recommend trying out! read more

Classic breakfast/brunch place. Great that they open at 7--especially with early rise kiddos. Servers were so sweet and friendly, space is nice and bright with all the windows facing the main street. Bonus: parking is free before 9am! What we got: Kids french toast sticks - Easy winner. What's not to like when it's got a coating of powdered sugar? Kids grilled cheese - Our little really wanted a sandwich at breakfast and we just let her. Instead of the fries, we asked if we could substitute with sausage and they were super nice about it and didn't even charge us even though we expected to pay for the change. Caprese Avocado Toast - This was my husband's order and we couldn't stop laughing. It looked so good, and so fresh. But it was not seasoned at all. When we make avocado toast at home we usually add salt and pepper at least...this was just mashed up avocado. I don't think this is worth the price or the stomach space. In theory I can see this being really nice, but execution is just meh and kind of a disappointment. Sir Duggan Frittata - This was good! Even my kids ate it--and it was enough to share. Felt like a nice way to get veg and protein in the morning without being too heavy. I feel like all Egg Harbors are consistently nice, and this one was great too. It has been years since I've been to Egg Harbor but we decided to grab a late breakfast here yesterday and I was underwhelmed. The staff was great, very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food was mediocre to me and my daughter but my husband enjoyed his a lot. I had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and I subbed fresh fruit for the potato's. The b&g was lacking flavor and the eggs were as well. My daughter had 1/2 Belgium waffle and sourdough and didn't eat much waffle. My husband loved the shakshusa. read more

A treasure in Lake Geneva! We visited this cafe for brunch time. The fact that it was so busy meant it was a popular spot. I had the Santa Fe skillet, which came with eggs on top. I stopped by on 10.2.25 while on vacation here in Lake Geneva to see if they still had it. And the verdict is they sure do. Upon entering 2 nice, friendly ladies greeted me and my guest. We were seated promptly. Our server Jessica came right over and took drink order, then our food order. I ordered the Dynamite Veggie White Omelet which was delicious. The coffee was too. This place was soo good! Came in on a Saturday with some girlfriends and the wait wasn't bad at all. We ended up getting a ton of food to share.. including Biscuits and Gravy, Cherrywood Avocado Toast, Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes, Banana Bread French Toast, Maple Bacon, Mac & Cheese, and of course Strawberry Mimosas. Every dish we had was incredible! My favorite thing about this restaurant is that while it has "egg" in the name, there are several non-egg items on the menu. I hate eggs, taste texture smell - dislike everything about them. So breakfast spots are tricky for me as so often menu items are heavily egg based. They have tons of fancy baked goods, even salads and burgers available at brunch, all which are delicious and made with fresh ingredients. This particular location is stunning, a block off the lake with a pretty view. Service is great, and it's one of my go-to spots every time I find myself in Lake Geneva! read more

This time, I tried 1 of their newer dishes: the Sweet Carolina Skillet. Instead of using regular potatoes, there were sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes and chicken sausage were the perfect combination of sweet and savory. I wish the sweet potatoes had a little bit of a crust on them because the dish needed some texture, but the flavor overall was very good, especially topped with the eggs over medium. The only thing I really didn't enjoy was the house jam that came with my toast. The flavor was too bitter and tart for me. And what's breakfast without a good cup of coffee? Theirs was bold, piping hot, and plentiful. The server kept my cup full. My good girlfriend enjoyed her San Antonio Skillet and Iced Brown Sugar Latte. She finished all of it! This was our first visit to Lake Geneva and this place came up as one of the first brunch spots on my search. The pumpkin spice latte started out tasty, but started getting watery and not as flavorful half way through. The pumpkin apple caramel macchiato was watery from the start. The strawberry French toast had strawberry cream cheese spread on top of all the French toast slices which I wasn't expecting. It tasted more like a yogurt and I wasn't a fan of that. The bread was hard and seemed to be dipped in egg, but I didn't see any cinnamon and it had no cinnamon etc flavors. I liked the fresh berries, but would not recommend this. The egg skillet was quite tasty though and had a lot of flavor with the peppers, onions, bacon and cheese. Having the side English muffin with jam was great as well. The ambiance inside is a bit more casual, but I enjoyed their festive decor. The service was great and our coffees came out very quickly. They only open till 2pm on Sunday. There was a long wait outside. We put our name on the wait list and went for a 40min walk along the lake before returning for food. The portions are significant and filling, so I ordered a banana bread French toast and a Meaty Mikes hash skillet. The French toast was warm banana bread with fresh slices of banana on top and powder sugar. This is light on sweetness compared to other French toasts. The hash was hot and had sausage, ham, and a lot of bacon plus 2 eggs on top. The waitress was cool when we asked for hot water instead of cold water since it was a breezy day. Jasmine, our server, was so great. I wanted to order some odd things for my 9mo old baby (fruit, avocado, an egg). She had it come out in one plate, so kind. They have delicious black beans chicken chili, not too spicy at all, but flavorful and cheesy. My son loved his chocolate pancake. I loved the farmers market Benedict. Starting with their coffee, super smooth with a hint of sweetness, this was really good coffee and love how they give you, your own carafe. Next onto the food. I really wanted some pancakes but didn't want to order the full size portion, great news you can turn the pancakes into a combo; it comes with three smaller pancakes and choice of eggs and bacon or sausage. I got the blueberry pancakes and they were delicious. My son loved his Itsy Bitsy pancakes off the kids menu and my husband devoured his Shakshuka. My fiancé and I went to Egg Harbor this weekend before our Lake Geneva Boat Tour. It was such a great breakfast spot that left us both stuffed for awhile!! I absolutely loved my skillet combo as I always need to end my meal with something sweet. The ability to get a smaller portion of the skillet AND a piece of banana bread French toast was something I've always dreamed of!! David's skillet was also fantastic. The only downside of egg harbor is it's a bit expensive. My combo skillet was $16.50 and David's skillet was $15. However, Lake Geneva is a very touristy place, so I shouldn't be that surprised. Overall, definitely check out Egg Harbor next time you're near one of there locations. read more

It's nice that this breakfast place is near the lake, but I just did not pick a good dish. I wanted something healthier, but the Everyday I'm Brusselin' dish was not it. It was bland even with the extra seasoning I added. I feel like it was equal parts cheese as there was Brussel sprout shred, but there wasn't much of either. The best part was the toasted rye bread.
