We were on a Mother's Day sister trip and ended up here two days in a row. Food was good, nice friendly service. Plenty of space to eat if you like eating outside.

Double burger

Went for an evening snack. Got shakes, fries, mozzarella sticks, a cheeseburger, double burger, and chicken sandwich. (About $30) Average fast food, works if you're hungry lol I'd go back for a sundae ;)

Vegan ice cream!!

Great old fashioned spot to grab fast food & ice cream!! We were SOO excited that they had dairy free/vegan ice cream on the menu!! And beyond burgers!! Our pup also loved her treat!! Will definitely back!!

Best ice cream, ever. But the widgets are the real reason to stop!!! On the Thursday before the Fourth, in the pouring rain, there is a line. Not sure there is much more to say. Oh, wait. Tutti Frutti Sundae, Blue Moon Ice Cream topped with Jolly Ranchers. Banana Split. Chocolate shakes. Tater Tots, Onion Rings, Fries, Burgers, and even Pulled Pork. So I guess there was a bit more to say...

Meggy Moo's always attracts a crowd!

Perfect small town ice cream shop. Focus here is on soft serve (cone, shakes, flurries), but scoops, hot food, and widgets (like doughnuts) have people lined up around the corner. This place always attracts a crowd, and it's fun to hang outside with your food.

TRIPLE FRIED DUCK FAT FRIES. the end…read more Beautiful restaurant. It looks like a gorgeous farm home on the outside with ample parking and the inside is stunning with brick, metal, and wood accents as well as a beautiful stained glass door. The waitress was efficient and knew the menu well. We ordered a burger with no bun to make it gluten free and a pepperoni pizza. The absolute star of the show was the amazing duck fat fries with homemade ranch. The burger was excellent as well. Will definitely come back with our little guy so he can experience the best fries around.

The ambiance was giving classy, the lighting was giving romance, and I was ready to EAT. Our server was genuinely sweet, and I want to make that clear because she really did have a lovely personality. However, the attentiveness was a little inconsistent. She would take our drink orders, then we'd wait around 15 minutes before she came back to ask about appetizers. Baby, why are we ordering in separate episodes? We could've ordered our drinks and appetizers together and saved everybody some time! There were moments when she'd chat with her friends instead of checking whether our table needed anything else. I understand wanting to socialize, but when you've got seven hungry people at your table, a little more attention would go a long way. Now, let's get to the MAIN EVENT: the steak. I ordered the striploin, which happened to be the most expensive item on the menu. And honey... that steak was TOUGH. I'm talking jaw workout, chew-until-next-Tuesday tough. I genuinely struggled to eat it, and unfortunately, the rest of my family had similar experiences with their steaks. Listen, I don't expect every meal to change my life, and I'm certainly not demanding a discount just because something wasn't perfect. But when I'm paying premium prices for steak, I expect to be able to actually ENJOY eating it. If my jaw is working harder than I am, we have a problem! It's such a shame because the restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, and our server was a sweetheart despite the inconsistencies in service. There was potential here for a wonderful family dinner, but the quality of the main course simply didn't meet my expectations. Unfortunately, the steaks were the dealbreaker for me. A beautiful restaurant can set the mood, and a friendly server can make you feel welcome, but neither can rescue a steak that feels like it's been training for a bodybuilding competition. For the price point, I expected much better. Two stars from me, and I truly hope the kitchen takes another look at how those steaks are being prepared.

At some point, they expanded the restaurant so it can easily handle over 150 people and I'm guessing anywhere is up to 180 people. Was very clean inside and appears that it had been painted not too long ago. Our waitress was Alaina. Hope I spelled, her name right. Very good waitress and made sure she took care of us. I had a few questions about the food on the menu and she had all the answers. I got what I think was called the sweet potato brisket skillet. My girlfriend had just eggs, toast, hashbrowns with bacon. She said the coffee was OK. She's a little fussy with the coffee so we've had a few places where it's been great. She says it's drinkable and she liked it. Good enough! They give you generous portions of food. The bacon was cooked crispy the way she likes it and the eggs were done perfectly. Hashbrowns taste fresh and good and never cooked perfectly. They under utilize salt, but there's probably a good reason for it and that's why you have salt at the table. The skillet I had, however, was real good! Generous portions of brisket and the sweet potatoes were cut strips and grilled and tender. It had chunks of green peppers which were grilled and you could tell they were fresh. Fresh grilled onions and chunks of tomatoes inside. It was loaded with cheese too. My eggs were done to perfection and I had the sourdough toast. Their sourdough toast is Home made style bread. I don't believe it's baked in the restaurant, but it was very good. Once again, very generous portions. The place is huge inside with plenty of elbow room. As for the price, their prices were average and in line with other places we've eaten breakfast in the area. The whole staff that is there greeted you at one point or the other. Very friendly staff. They are also open for lunch and dinner. The place is busy for breakfast so I'm guessing that they're Friday night fish fries probably pretty packed. I highly recommend Sammy's on the square.
