OH MY GOSH!! y'all!!! This place is the best kept secret of all time, first of all ,it's a trailer!! which goes to show you can judge a book by it's cover! Because the food here is phenomenal, and even that doesn't explain these sandwiches which are off the chain!! They have outside seating , service was great and quick, only thing is they don't have a bathroom, you'll have to go across the street or hold it
We got our sandwiches at the food truck. Overall filling and variety of options. Ube was a sweet and savory whereas bulgogi was a personal favorite but needed more sauce throughout the sandwich since the sauce is placed on top. Service was quick at the food truck and ambiance is super cute. 9.2/10, would recommend
I have never been disappointed by one of the egg sandwiches but my favorite by far is the oh my gogi! It is absolutely delicious and you can't get anything like it anywhere else. I have never been to the storefront before so I can't comment on it but I have regularly ordered from the stand at the Richland farmers market. The workers are always so on top of it and it is the perfect breakfast to explore the farmers market with!
Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Huge fluffy Japanese milk bread with a folded scrambled egg and Korean inspired fillings. The egg was super fluffy and not dry at all and the sauces added so much flavor but you could taste every ingredient. We got the classic which was really good. And we got the one with pork belly which was my favorite the meats smokiness perfectly balanced out everything. Also we ordered ahead of time and it sat for a long time without getting too soggy before we ate it!
I stumbled upon this food truck while I was on the hunt for some breaky, and I'm so glad I found this spot! I ordered the Playin' Dirty sandwich, which has spicy pork belly and eggs as the main ingredients. Who would've thought the spicy pork belly with the eggs together in a sandwich?! My goodness, it was savory yet filling! The sandwich pairs well with their truffle hash browns, which were so fun to eat since they were bite-sized! 11/10, I highly recommend this spot!
Came here early on a Sunday morning and line was not that bad. Ordered the Ube Bee and the Playing Dirty. First one had bacon, second had spicy pork belly. They were both sweet and savory but the UB learned a little sweeter than the second. I liked them both but I have had Egg Tuck and Eggslut in LA, so by comparison, I gave this place a 4 out of 5 because the eggs skips be a soft scramble and the bread should be a little fluffier. Maybe it was because I ordered ahead. Next time, will try coming here in b person and asking for a soft scramble. Otherwise, love the flavor combinations in these sandwiches!
It's good! Tasty egg sandwich truck. Got the playin dirty sandwich. It was good! I liked the little crispier bits in the pork belly. Just wish the sandwich was bigger. You'll definitely need a side too. The eggy tots were great. Just needs a little hot sauce for my taste. There's no coffee here but there's a cafe across the street. Service was good. Friendly staff. It's a convenient location with plenty of street parking nearby.
Such a solid breakfast sandwich! Egg Drip is a food truck in East Nashville serving up Korean egg sandwiches which add a unique twist to a classic. I tried the double trouble (Added bacon for crispness) And it was loaded with saucy flavor. The bread was soft on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside. Mine was egg forward but savory, rich, and perfectly balanced. Service was friendly and quick! They have outdoor picnic tables to enjoy the sandwiches. Already planning my next visit!
A lot of food in Nashville is overrated...this place is not. The HEC had crispy thick Texas-style toast, soft fluffy scambled egg, and crispy hash brown, OMG this was amazing. So delicious and the sauces drizzled on it added a nice contrast in the savory flavor. My partner got the BEC, basically the same but with bacon instead of the hash brown -he loved it too. The picnic tables with umbrellas was a vibe and we grabbed a coffee across the street while we waited for our sandwiches. The service was very nice and quick! This would be a hit in Miami....you guys should totally open a location down here ( so I can eat this more...)
Hubby and I split the bulgogi and HEC and both were absolutely delicious. The bread especially was stand out. Generous serving sizes with both sandwiches overflowing with toppings in the best way. There was no wait at 9am on a Friday. Service was friendly and fast and the outdoor seating was perfect in the springtime. Would definitely recommend and return!
I am not one who typically seeks out breakfast food, but it just made sense around the time my friend and I were looking to grab something to eat before hitting the road. With that being said, we were at least looking for something different to try. As soon as we saw the pics here, we were hooked. I had never heard of a Korean egg sandwich, but was more than willing to give it a shot. And man, I'm so glad we did. It was SO. GOOD! There were many different kinds to try - I went with one including bacon and cheese. It is a pretty large sandwich, too! Egg Drip is located in a small food truck tucked into a neighborhood, so it was a bit tricky to find first; However, there was plenty of seating outside. This place is incredible and must be on your Nashville foodie list!!
During my trip to Nashville, we decided to try this spot on a whim before heading back to the airport. From the bottom of my heart, I'd fly back just to eat here again. I even made a point to walk back to their food trailer just to tell them how delicious it was. Keep in mind, everything is made fresh to order, so the line can get a little long....but trust me, it's absolutely worth the wait.
If you're looking for the best sandwich in town, Egg Drip in East Nashville is the spot. They are incredibly creative with their menu, and their "premium toasts" on fluffy Japanese milk bread are on a completely different level than your standard breakfast sandwich. The Standouts: * Oh My Gogi: This is a best-seller for a reason. The beef bulgogi and kimchi combo provides a perfect umami punch that balances out the rich eggs and cheese. * Playin' Dirty: My personal favorite. The spicy pork belly is absolutely packed with flavor, and the addition of okonomiyaki sauce makes it so unique. * The "Ube-Bee": You have to try their new specialty Ube sandwich. It uses vibrant purple Ube French toast with bacon, eggs, cheese, and a hash brown patty, all drizzled with miso maple syrup. It's the ultimate sweet-and-savory combo and looks amazing. * Yuzu Egg Salad: I'm usually not even an egg salad person, but this one is surprisingly good. The secret has to be the Yuzu Kosho (Japanese citrus pepper salt)--it adds a bright, zesty kick that cuts through the creaminess perfectly. The Vibe: The presentation is 10/10--these sandwiches are basically made for Instagram. It's also a huge plus that they open at 8 AM, making it a reliable option for an early breakfast before the Nashville crowds really start moving.

I've ordered from this place so often that it feels like my Sunday ritual. The place is located behind a dispensary in an artificial yard area. It is easier to find if you access it from the street vs behind the building. I've had a couple of different items from here but my favorites have to be the Oh my Gogi, the Truffle Tater Tots and the Ube-Bee without the hash brown. The Oh My Gogi is a savory sandwich that has a slight kick from the sauce. It's a bulgogi in a sandwich without the rice. You could also compare it to a steak and eggs sandwich with a spicy sauce to finish it. The Ube-Bee has a sweetness to it because of the syrup that comes with it. I think the elements in the sandwich are awesome and the Ube bread adds a unique spin to a classic bacon egg and cheese. Whenever I'm in the mood for a breakfast sandwich, this is always my #1 choice in Nashville! read more

I really enjoyed egg drip! Didn't take too long once placing order, and we just went across the street for coffee. I thought the sandwiches were delicious- they have outdoor seating. I can't wait to go back. Beef bolgogi one was my favorite but all the flavors were yum. read more

I LOVE EGG DRIP!!! It's so sad that they're only open for breakfast and lunch but it makes sense based on the fact that it is an egg sandwich place. They used to only have a food truck so I am beyond happy that they're now at Bongo. It's super quick to get a sandwich made: it's in and out in 5 minutes. And let me tell you, these Korean egg sandwiches are where it's at. I've only ever gotten the truffleholic (with no avocado), but my friends have gotten different ones and we loved them all. The eggs are SO fluffy and moist. The milk bread is thick cut, fluffy, and toasted to crispy, buttery perfection. The cheese adds a perfect little burst of flavor, and the truffle aioli is just MAGICAL. It's flavorful and sweet while still being rich and creamy, and paired with the brightness from the sweet ketchup, you get a real heavenly bite. I've been wanting to try this place for years. Finally decided to head on over. I went to the Richland farmer's market for this and they were very easy to find. The food came out quickly and they also provided bags which was convenient. The classic: 4.5/5. Suuuuper tasty. The sweet ketchup pairs well. A classic American breakfast sandwich with a Korean twist. Truffle-holic: 4/5. Also really good. I was looking for more truffle flavor, especially with the name, but it came through. If you like subtle truffle flavor, then this is perfect for you. The avocados weren't quite ripe either and I think a little salt on them would've helped as well. Overall, this place definitely met my expectations! I will be back to try their other sandwiches for sure. read more

Came here on 2/3/24. This pop up place is located in on Bongo Java coffee shop for now. Had outside seatings which was great. You order and pick up your food when they call your name. The sandwiches were decent. The eggs are super soft and fluffy but flavorless. It was fine because the sauce and cheese carried the flavor. Playin dirty sandwich was stuffed and so were the truffleholic. One thing that could've been better was spreading the toppings through the whole sandwich. The avocados and cabbages were on top and that was it. Gave it a 4/5 because I'm not sure if it's worth the price. read more
Was getting ready to leave town and was in search of something small. After reading such amazing reviews from fellow Yelpers we decided to give it a try. Do not sleep on this little green trailer tucked away behind another restaurant. There was street parking available near by if there isn't any available there is a paid parking lot near by. The lady at the counter was extremely sweet and friendly. After ordering they call your name and hand you a cute little bag with your eggcellant sandwiches. I decided on 2 different sandwich for the hubby and I to try. First was the O My Gogi Featuring beef bulgogi, eggs, cheese, chopped kimchi, house aioli and a kimchi mayo. All of the toppings were light as to not overpower the flavor of the meat. The eggs were light and fluffy, the bread was toasted perfectly light and was buttery and soft. The meat was tender and juicy and had a umami yet sweet flavor. Honestly the meat/egg best sandwich I've ever had. Second sandwich was the Yuzu Egg Salad Which was egg salad featuring yuzu kosho, chives, house aioli. It's like an elevated homemade egg salad. The eggs weren't rubbery and the bread was lightly toasted and soft but didn't make the egg salad warm. If you've ever had Japanese egg salad this is a good comparison. I wish this place was close to home as I would be there everyday. Give them a try you won't regret it. read more

Egg Drip has a food truck in East Nashville, and it's definitely worth checking out! We got there around 8:30 AM and still waited about 20 minutes for our sandwiches, so I'd recommend ordering online if you can...it looked like that's an option. Their menu is split into Premium Toast and French Toast Series. We tried the Ubé-bee (from the French Toast series) and Playin' Dirty (from the Premium Toast series). The main difference is that the French Toast series leans sweet while the Premium Toast options are more savory. You can tell it's Korean-style toast because they incorporate traditional dishes like spicy pork belly and bulgogi. Personally, I preferred Playin' Dirty. The spicy pork belly was amazing, with just the right amount of kick. On the other hand, Ubé-bee was the most expensive item on the menu ($15), but honestly, I couldn't really taste the ube. It looks unique with the purple-colored toast, but flavor-wise, it wasn't anything special. The eggs, though... WOW. So fluffy and soft! The toast is thick but not overly bready because the brioche is light and soft, and the sandwiches are seasoned well thanks to the sauce. One tip: I'd recommend getting your order to-go. There's seating available, but there were quite a few flies since a dumpster is nearby. read more
The pork belly with the special ube bread was sooo good tender and eggs so fluffy!!!! Service was quick and they had DoorDash orders coming in left and right. In the summer time this would be perfect to grab food and have drinks right behind at the bar. read more
Absolutely OBSESSED with this now. I have been wanting to try these out for a while and they definitely lived up to the hype I saw online. I highly recommend. This is great as a breakfast or lunch. Visited Oct 7, 2023. Egg Drip was such a treat as one of the vendors at the 'Celebration of Cultures' event held at Centennial Park. I love how the quality of food & its presentation was not compromised even though it was so busy! I tried other food vendors during the event but no other came close to beating their mouth watering sandwiches. Egg Drip is a pop up. We love getting Egg Drip sandwiches at the Richland Park Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. It's a unique find in Nashville-- Korean inspired breakfast sandwiches. The flavors are very unique. Our favorites are the Oh My Gogi with beef bulgogi and kimchi and the Truffle-holic with truffle oil and avocado. The griddled, fluffy milk bread really makes the sandwich in my opinion. The sandwiches are made fresh to order too. read more

Looking for breakfast and stumbled upon this spot. Signage is weird and appears to be inside a coffee shop when you pull up to address, you are indeed at the right place. You order at the counter and take a seat, either inside or out there is plenty of space. No kid menu available. Refreshers just added to the menu. Food was fresh and tasty and plenty of coffee options. Atmosphere is quiet and restaurant is clean. read more

Wow...new world of Asian fusion sandwich. This is how my husband described it after a first bite "It is like Honey Pig (K-BBQ joint) mixed with Waffle house." Now, can you imagine it? The eggs are so fluffy. The bread is thick, airy, and crunchy outside. It reminds me of Milk Bread. I'd say this is a perfect breakfast sandwich that I can eat everyday. In town for work and wanted to try something different for breakfast. Looked on yelp for the best reviewed places and this came up. Upon arrival the gentleman at the register was super nice and although he couldn't help me when I first walked up he let me know that he would be with me in just a moment. I then ordered a Ube breakfast sandwich that comes with bacon, egg, cheese and a hash brown inside two Ube soft bread pieces. Once the order was ready I sat in their open/outside bench area which I only waited for like 8-10mins max! After eating the sandwich I was mind blown! Never have I had a Ube sandwich and it hit every spot. If I lived here I would definitely use this place as a breakfast spot. I hope soon they can get into a brick and mortar and offer inside sitting. Was super humid from the recent storms and hot but would do it again for that sandwich! read more
Had one of their sandwiches at a food truck event and loved how simple ingredients (egg, cheese, chive, ham) made such a tasty item! A lot of the flavor is definitely in the sauce (mayo based?). Only downside is it is a tad pricey for a moderate-sized sandwich. Otherwise, the sandwich was made really quickly and comes in really cute packaging that makes it easy/less messy to eat. read more
