I asked them sew a similar fabric on the UNDERSIDE to reinforce it and keep it from ripping more. Didn't need to be perfect, I knew the tear itself could not be sewn together but patching and stitching the underside could mitigate the damage. I came to pick it up and BOTH SIDES were covered in a fabric patch that's not even a close match! I was told that there wasn't a way to reinforce it from the underside so they just did both. Even if that were true (it's not), why did no one call me FIRST and tell me the work I requested and paid for wasn't possible? This is a very basic ask of a professional tailor, it's unbelievable they got it so wrong! This patch is so much worse than the original tear. I wasn't greeted, she took a call, finished it, and still didn't greet me. Since there were clothes already on the station I took mine over to the clear area. Once she finally acknowledged me, and I expressed my need, she said "you need it bring those over here if you want them dry cleaned" with the rudest attitude. When I asked about the employer discount program, the attitude only went up from there. She honestly tried to make me use my discount on my next visit, which is absurd. All because she didn't want to key in the times under the discount...hopefully the actual service rendered is better than the customer service, or lack there of, that I was given.

So it turned out that they had obviously undercharged me the first time. However, when i looked in my bag of clean clothes, i found some random pair of child's underwear in with my stuff!!! That is pretty much the only thing you hope won't happen when you take your clothes to be professionally laundered! At this point, i had to check the rest of my clothing to make sure it was all mine. They told me to come back the next day to speak to the manager. Did I mention, they don't actually clean the clothes onsite, they send them to their other facility downtown. But they also don't have scales, so you can't ask them to recheck the weight of the items in front of you! So basically they can just charge you whatever they want. When i returned, they offered me just $5 off for having someone else's underwear in with my stuff, i asked for something a bit more or i would never be returning. The manager then said she would discuss it and they would call me to resolve it.... Which was well over 2 weeks ago now and no phone call. Very unprofessional, way overpriced and will never be returning to this dry cleaners. I want to make sure that everyone knows to stay away from this place.

I would guess we would want our clothes, which we cannot dry clean ourselves, clean, pressed in some cases, and returned to us in good working order! Check! Superior Dry Cleaners service performed exactly those three things on my behalf with my two-piece suit. 2. I would guess we would want our clothing to be dry cleaned in a reasonable amount of time which I realize varies for all of us depending upon our needs. Check! Superior Dry Cleaners when I called at about 8:20 AM on a Monday morning told me "If you get your suit to us by 10:00 AM we may be able to get it cleaned and returned to you by 4:00 PM this afternoon." Intrigued, I asked "What if I drop it by after 10:00 AM this morning, when would it be ready?" The person replied "tomorrow morning." Check, Check! That is a day ahead of the event for which I needed my suit to attend. 3. I would guess the next item we would all really want is being able to receive exactly those services for a reasonable price. Check! I called around my area to five different Dry Cleaners of varying distances from my home but all within about twenty miles. A. I asked about when they would be able to have my suit cleaned, and back to me. Those answers varied from "this afternoon, if delivered by 10:00 AM this morning" to "next Tuesday" or eight days from now. B. I asked each of the five Dry Cleaning Businesses what my cost would be with tax for their service in cleaning my two-piece suit? Those quotes ranged from a little over $16.00 to $22. and change. C. I am sure you are intelligent enough to guess that the $16.00 quote resulted in an eight day wait for the dry cleaning of my two-piece suit, and getting my suit back as quickly as that afternoon, if I got it in by 10:00 AM was the highest or $22. and change. However, you would be wrong! Superior Dry Cleaning service cost me $20. and change to dry clean my two-piece suit. Is saving almost $2.00 a significant savings when you are paying $20. and change for a service you cannot perform yourself? In my opinion, yes, but your opinion is the only one that counts when making this evaluation! However, when I factor in getting my two-piece suit back in half a day to under 24 hours as opposed waiting eight days from the day I drop the item off, then, in my opinion, Yes! Check, Check, Check! 4. Now here is an varying human factor that some of us do not really care about, some feel neutral about, or some of us really enjoy, want, and appreciate when dealing with a Business providing to us, their customers, their service. That is a polite, respectful, personable, and efficient interaction allowing us all to move on with our day, and in most cases, feel the person we are interacting with cares about our business and that the Business they own or work with will provide exactly what we need done! CHECK, CHECK, CHECK, CHECK! Surprise, surprise, surprise, thanks Gomer!) offers an excellent result, is an outstanding value, and are wonderful people with whom we enjoy trusting our of dry cleaning needs too (Out of breath yet? The woman, who I assume to be the owner, told me that because Tuesday, July 4, 2017 is a holiday that the plant that they send their dry cleaning to would be closed, so the earliest they could get my dress back to me is July 6, 2017 by noon. I had planned to leave for a funeral in MIAMI once I retrieved my black dress from them. I get a call at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 6, 2017 saying my dress wasn't ready. This was clearly a breach not only of an oral contract but a written one as well, because she documented that my dress would be returned to me by Thursday, July 6, 2017 at noon. Because they failed to complete their end of the contract, I now must go and purchase another dress. I don't know about you, but I don't have cash to be throwing around for dresses because a BUSINESS failed to come through. When I said I won't be paying full price because you all failed to complete your end of the deal, she said "I can't do that". So now, I have to purchase a dress and also pay her.
