They say certain trades are a dime a dozen, I beg to differ. Yes, there are many plumbing companies out their but Brian is one in a million! Not only was it very challenging to reach anyone during the deep freeze we experienced in Colorado but after getting another plumber out here prior to Brian and experiencing such anxiety over his assessment, (claiming frozen pipe and a possible bill of 600.00) I was relieved to invite Brian into our home. Brian was quick to confirm we didn't have a frozen pipe! For days I had kept our water off because plumber one was animate in stating the "possibilities" of a pipe bursting. Brian is professional, very knowledgeable, experienced, patient and friendly! He spent all the time needed plus to take care of a "clogged drain" triggered by the cold. Replaced valves. Checked the entire pluming system and we spent a quarter of what we might of spent through the first exaggerated assessment! Called Brian that evening after 8:30 pm because I had another question and he happily answered, no problem. We will certainly contact Brian for any and all plumbing needs in the future. I am surprised at some of the reviews here. We have worked with Brian for several years after having had bad experiences with several other plumbers. Of course using a plumber to perform a fix is more expensive than purchasing parts at a big box store and attempting it yourself. But I have worked with plumbers who literally yelled at me for questioning their judgment and their failed work. Brian is kind and straightforward, and we have been impressed with his work. Futhermore, Brian never fails to give a detailed bid before work commences. If these other customers had problems with his pricing they should have done what any reasonable customer does and seek other bids before agreeing on a contractor. I come back to Efficient Plumbing again and again, though, not because it is the cheapest but because I want quality work at a fair price. Brian comes when he says he will and makes good recommendations. Over the years he has helped us get squared away after a burst pipe, replaced some poor quality exterior faucets, diagnosed a problem spot (the leak was not plumbing related so he advised on how to fix it and went on his way for just the cost of a service call), and sent out a subcontractor for a sewer line clean out and inspection. II have used Brian's service 6 times over the last 8 years. First he repaired a leak in my upstairs bathtub. Then he replaced a water heater. Next he repaired a leaky supply line to my main floor toilet. He has replaced two outdoor faucets that leaked because of freezing with faucets that are no longer subject to freezing (they now properly drain). He unclogged a drain on an emergency basis after a big Thanksgiving dinner that allowed too many potato peelings go down the drain. And finally he replaced my water heater a second time after the first one sprang a leak internally (no fault of any work Brian did). The second water heater is much higher quality than the first and is expected to last for many years. The plumbing work Brian done for me has been of exceptional quality. He is very prompt and keeps his work area clean. If he has to cut into drywall to get his job done he will recommend a drywall repair person to cover the hole. He does not include this cost in any of his quotes. I have not taken him up on those offers since I have chosen to make those repairs myself. His charges are always extremely reasonable usually well below what others would charge. read more

I recently had Brian from Efficient Plumbing to my home again and was again pleased with his work, his price and his timely and efficient repair. I also appreciated that he came and fixed my toilet, which had stopped flushing, after his long work day, because I had been a client previously. Originally Brian had been referred to me by an emergency restoration company when I had water damage from an old (30+ years) shower valve that broke in the wall and caused water damage in the walls and the ceiling below the bath. He did a fast and thorough and fairly priced job of that, so I had him unclog an unused shower in the basement while he was there. Our first call to Efficient Plumbing was in 2008, late in the evening of a holiday, for a clogged drain. Brian came out within an hour, cleaned out the drain and did not charge us extra for it being a holiday. (A rarity in the plumbing world!) We have called on them several times in the years since, for various plumbing problems. We have always been given an approximate time that the plumber will arrive (within a few hours of our request), with another call when he is on the way. I discovered some water damage in my home late on a Sunday evening. My neighbor referred me to Efficiency Plumbing Services. I called efficiency and left a message (it was a Sunday evening) explaining my problem. I received a pretty quick call back and instructions on how to shut off the water to my home to stop the immediate problem and made an appointment for the following day. Brian showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, found a part for a 10 year old refrigerator (seriously) went and got the part, installed it, and made sure the problem was fixed. Brian saved the day, or maybe I should say week, by assisting me with a gas leak that caused Xcel to shut my gas off. Brian was concerned about my well-being as well as my lack of heat. He made himself available to address my gas pipes, dealt with the city for permit and inspection, and coordinated efforts with Xcel to make sure I had gas in order to heat my home for the weekend. I had the main line drain from the house to the street clog which partially flooded my basement with a lot of water, etc. I called Efficient plumbing, they answered directly, contacted their technician who was on another job, but said he would be there in three hours. He showed up ontime, had to go in through the toilet get to the drain line. After taking the bathroom apart, clearing the drain line all the way to the street, he put the toilet back in and was done in under two hours! I needed a plumber the day I called, and Brian showed up with not only a reasonable estimate, but the will and time to fix my plumbing problem promptly. The first problem was identifying the location of a leak within a wall. He made the correct diagnosis with minimal damage to the wall and ceiling, fixed the problem, and identified ways to prevent similar problems in the future. I hired him to also fix a pressure-reducing valve (called a PPV) and a sprinkler head, which he also did promptly and at fair prices.
