Not only were they super friendly and kind, they were able to get me in the very next day and at a very reasonable price. Clay, the service tech, was on time and super personable. They started work first thing the next morning, replacing the broken equipment, and then upgraded our furnace and AC units to more efficient models. What stood out the most however was the above and beyond service. Jesse and Cody were very thorough and even looked at things that others would not have. They double checked that some of the older equipment from the house was handling the updates correctly. They were able to identify where we had some bad electrical wiring and recommended an electrician. Our house is feels significantly comfier (temperature wise) than it ever had before. The General Manager came out, repaired it, then got frustrated with how to reattach the top of the unit, so he attempted to finish it incorrectly, which damaged the coil, destroyed the unit, which made the freon spew everywhere. He uttered a curse word and said, "Looks like you're getting a new unit today." It is now FRIDAY, we do NOT have a new unit. We have suffered through 6 miserable days of 90+ degree weather outside. Inside our house, it has been 90-100+ degrees at times. Varsity will not take ownership of their mistake. They will not return our calls. This is unacceptable and negligible. We have children, one with an autoimmune disease, 2 dogs, and they have not offered any resolution, nor have they offered fans or window units. If you have a choice in who you use for your AC/Heating company, DO NOT use this company. If the General Manager is this negligible and irresponsible, I cannot imagine what the rest of their techs are like.

We've been lucky enough to have Darren for most of our visits and he always puts my mind at ease. He found some things about the AC I only assume is correct because we have lived here 6 years and never had to fix anything on the AC so it seemed like it was ligit. The price was of course high but I'm sure any commercial service is going to run the same. Again I really like the technician, the low rating is no reflection on him or his work. The following week, I had an emergency plumbing situation. I cared summers 3 times and each time after holding about 2 minutes was given a voicemail to get a call back. So we called a different plumber and got the service done (Shout out ro Mr.Quick). I called to cancel the membership because this is the second time in my course of dealing with Summers that they have been unavailable for a service. ( I had their maintenance service a couple years back and a plumber refused to take his equipment down into the basement and do the work so I had to college a of a climber again in that situition. But I just decided to give summer's another chance because their monthly service was a little cheaper than the competitor. Of course when I called they said oh you have to have the money agreement for 6 months. They apologized and said they were busy but offered nothing. Found everything in…read moreworking order, and let me know that two parts were close or at their end-of-life: capacitors out of spec. No hard sells or unexpected up charges. I wanted to do the capacitor replacements myself, and they let me know what I needed to do to accomplish those tasks. I'd say 90% of my HVAC tune-ups do not give me the actual spec vs out-of-spec notes for wear & tear items like capacitors. Bryan H&C is the ONLY one to spend the 2 mins letting me know some pointers, since I wanted to DIY the repair. If you hire them, know that It's a small shop. Be flexible on time and scheduling.
