They charge you $99 just to come out, and then try to charge you a ridiculous amount of money for the service.

Days later, realized a leak in the basement. Knew it was because of the plumber "drilling" out the clog. Water damage to ceiling and drywall! Another tech came out and determined the 1st tech pierced a hole in the interior piping.....as I feared. It was at first a hassle to get them to pay for the clean up, but they used Indiana Restoration and paid for everything. Although, I did pay upfront for the drain clog like $200.

Attaboy "fixed" the leaking pressure released value and as I have a restoration company at my house to dry my walls & floors, the water heater is leaking WORSE. They came the next day and replaced the entire water heater.....with the incorrect size!!!!! And to make matters worse, 3 items on the install were OUT OF CODE. They are a NIGHTMARE. AttaBoy originally agreed to handle all the bills related to the leak & getting my house back together.. They even documented on their invoice that the water leak damaged my hardwood floors. It's been 4+ months and their coward of an owner hasn't even called me ONCE, they verbally agreed to take care of the mess & now they're going back on their word to me & my restoration company. They have zero integrity & zero clue about plumbing. They did thousands of dollars in damage to my home & now aren't even human enough to return my calls. RUN!!!! Do not use these unprofessional, incompetent fools.

They notified me promptly when they were on their way, which made scheduling and planning so much easier. Their pricing is relatively competitive for the market, offering great value for the service they provide. They can give you an estimate for your service in advance, so you know a ballpark before selecting them for service. I appreciate the transparency.

The heat pump and air handler for half our house broke down at the worst possible time. John was incredibly responsive and had his team out to our house same day to check out the issue. They started work first thing the next morning, replacing the broken equipment, and then upgraded our furnace and AC units to more efficient models. What stood out the most however was the above and beyond service. Jesse and Cody were very thorough and even looked at things that others would not have. They double checked that some of the older equipment from the house was handling the updates correctly. They were able to identify where we had some bad electrical wiring and recommended an electrician. Our house is feels significantly comfier (temperature wise) than it ever had before. Highly recommend this team!

I began research'n plumbers...RRP stood out in every search. After speak'n w/Jason during our consult, I was really impressed w/his genuine approach to giving me options, including install'n the parts I already had. I chose to replace the WH...my unit was quite old & I'd repaired the same parts a few times before. The price Jason quoted me was right on point w/my research & he didn't upsell but suggested some things that would be of benefit to me. I finally pulled the trigger & had WH installed Tue, 14 July 2026...had to prepare for this big purchase & checkout competitors...‍but ya know how your gut just tell ya someth'ns rite‍ Jalen main installer, Dylan tech (picked up the new WH) & Ray (H.S. He had a hypothesis right off the bat, checked out the furnace and with that confirmed his hypothesis, that it was a faulty blower motor that had seized up, freezing the whole top of the furnace completely. To ease my mind he allowed me to put a towel in there to make sure the wiring did not get damaged by the water. I will keep going back to Chapman for heating and cooling issues. I also have seen that they take care of so much more so, I will be looking into other things, if we need anything else. Again thank you Christopher and Chapman!! THE MIDDLETON'S BOBBI-JO AND RODGER Update...11/15/2026 I had a call from the dispatcher at Chapman call, I cannot recall her name but she is very polite, sorry miss, I apologize. But she advised me the price of the blower motor due to it being a VERY DIFFERENT AND HARD PART TO FIND, not only that but of course our luck the manufacturer warranty expired 2 years ago, it is going to be VERY EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE. So not sure how much the labor is going to cost but I am sure it will be fair. We are looking at at least 2 grand. YIPPEE FOR US!! We were looking forward to going on a cruise but still have to fix a vehicle also so that may not be happening, I tell ya what when it rains it pours huh, people. Life sinks!! Well at least I can thank Chapman and Christopher for helping me out of this mess!! THANKS AGAIN FOR THE HELP!!

My original review of Chapman was in 2018 and centered around my wonky but still operational…read morefurnace. This time around, I've gotten the chance to try out Chapman to address some electrical issues in the house. Truthfully, I wasn't aware that Chapman handled electrical. I'd begun having some significant electrical issues a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. I called another company that I'd used for a smaller project with good results. They came over and did some minor adjustments, however, they noted there were significant issues and planned to send me an estimate. They did let me know this "fix" was more like a band-aid and the significant work was inevitable. It was less than a day when the "band-aid" stopped working. I waited a bit anticipating their estimate, though also disappointed that they'd done such a weak fix. Finally, things got WAY worse. It was shortly before Thanksgiving and the situation was urgent. I left a message for Chapman anticipating that I was likely out of luck for the holiday weekend. My general sense was that was their plan, too. However, I think the rep (I believe her name was Hannah) heard the panic in my voice and I explained my situation. She arranged for a technician to visit the house the next day. This tech did agree that the issue was serious and warranted a few major repairs. He explained it well and explained my options. To be honest, I'm usually quite cheap. However, when he gave me two options I went with the more expensive option as I really wanted to make sure the fix was done properly. I was tired of band-aids. They used my initial service call as a down payment and the electrician, Rodney as I recall, scheduled it and made sure he would be the electrician for the project (NOTE: In reality, this ended up being a 2-3 person job). The only slight hiccup was that I'd been told they'd arrive at 8am. In reality, I called them at 10am and learned they were having trouble finding one needed part. That was fine, though I should have been called. Around 11:15, and somewhat surprisingly, they arrived and dug in. Seven hours later? They were done. I was particularly touched by a neat gesture - I'm a wheelchair user. In their estimate, the electrician had written that he'd be putting my new panel in at wheelchair height. This wasn't something I asked for particularly, however, it was a pretty cool gesture recognizing my needs. Rodney explained everything and was entirely work focused. He completed the work as promised and the cost was exactly as quoted. He explained a couple other concerns - including one that wouldn't be a Chapman issue, however, he explained how it could impact the electric. I've now had Chapman work on my furnace and my electric. Are they more expensive? Yeah, I'd say so. If you're looking for a budget electrician, Chapman probably isn't that. However, in all three visits the work has been done and done well. They've avoided band-aids and actually fixed issues. Their quotes have been accurate. The employees have been professional. With the exception of today's tardiness, the experiences have all been impeccable. Truthfully, I should have likely called Chapman first. While I may not call them for smaller issues, the truth is for me it's worth a bit more to get the work done right. The work is warrantied and I now have a system that should last for years and is also accessible. That other company? I still don't have their estimate. Chapman wins.
