The portions are humongous, service is quick and friendly and I can't remember any other time I wanted to lick fingers after having a meal!! I will definitely be back! Last night I finally went there with a friend. We went in on a Saturday night on the off chance there was a free table. The restaurant was obviously busy but they accommodated us. We were shown to our table, presented with menus and our drinks order was taken. We both ordered a Karisik, which has a mixture of chicken, lamb chops, Sis and Adana. When it arrived it looked amazing. It also came with some bread and a side salad which was delicious in itself. The meat was cooked to perfection and every mouthful was amazing. Even the rice was perfectly cooked and delicious. The toilets are small. The ladies toilet is a single disabled toilet and the men's toilet is a single toilet. The toilet was clean, tidy, and had a variety of toiletries to use. The only negative thing I can say is that the waiter didn't come over after our meals were served to check that everything was OK, but the restaurant was full to capacity so we can forgive that. This was the nicest kebab type dish I have ever had and the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. I will definitely be going back.

A sign of things to come : not that much Seated in a small window booth overlooking the beautiful view of wilko. There is a menu online and it shows one price then another on the actual menu in the venue. They were off by a few pounds ! Anyway staff seemed relatively attentive when they weren't busy cleaning cutlery that had already been clean or pacing the laminate. The style of service felt to me that this was a relatively new venture as they had a cloud of staff appear throughout us eating to ask the usual questions ( is everything ok etc) . Just pick one serving staff and stick to your table The menu showed us a Friday and Saturday night set meal so we opted for that considering the price would have been higher ordering normally Starters of falafel and hummus was very nice and the bread was excellent ! But when it came to the main for the price you pay 1) you expect a sauce nf not to have to pay and extra £5 for two sauces. 2) it not to be thrown on the plate with rice all under the edge of the plate 3) it be on a HOT plate - basics really and finally 4) the food to be served together so when we ordered our mains and they arrived. Unbeknown to us we got a small side salad with BBQ onions but these were served about 6/7 minutes after our meals had arrived The meat and rice were nice but the Adana pictured was very greasy and felt like needed longer cooking All in all I rate this place as a 2.5 Points ; Price to high Cold plates Need a consensus of who serves who! Will possibly return but will bide my time !

When we complained the owner became argumentative about his positive reviews??? Work that one out. The majority of the staff were nice enough however one waiter did not have a clue about diet coke and normal coke. We were given 10% off the bill which was a nice gesture however doesn't stop me giving my review I won't be going back and I recommend other alternatives. Not a good start Yasmin

Everything was so flavorful without being too spicy -- just perfect. We started with Hummus topped with Minced Meat, because you really can't go wrong with hummus. It was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. They served a fresh, vibrant salad alongside -- the perfect combination. Next, we had Sarma Chicken -- tender chicken wrapped in a tortilla with cheese, topped with yogurt gravy and their special ingredient (which I'm convinced was roasted aubergine). That smoky touch made the dish unforgettable. Such an amazing combo -- hearty, satisfying, and so well-balanced. Portion sizes were generous -- honestly enough for 3-4 people, especially if you're light eaters like us. The ambience was just as impressive -- beautiful furniture, plenty of sunlight, and a calm, cozy vibe that made the experience even better. The staff was super friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu and helping us make the right choices. Service was fast too, which made the whole experience even better Overall, it's a 5-star experience for me -- from the food to the atmosphere. Can't wait to go back and try more.

Established as a local, cosy Greek Taverna, this restaurant has since expanded and revamped itself…read moreto be a modern equivalent of the typical Greek. The interiors are cool and clean with a more minimalist feel than the usual trellises and vines and pottery that you're accustomed to. The atmosphere here would suit a place in the city centre rather than suburbia - the staff are friendly and efficient, the music evocative but not overpowering and the general feeling is that you can have an authentic Greek experience without someone smashing your plates. The food is amazing - I'm a big fan of Mediterranean flavours and after spending some time living in Cyprus I'm an even bigger fan of Greek and Turkish tastes. For meat lovers, the Keftedes meatballs is a good place to start. Lefteris' house special Ouzo Chicken is also something not to be missed, although I'm a fan of the traditional Mousaka , Kleftiko and Stifado. If you're a veggie, you can't go wrong with the Houmous, Tzatziki and Tahini dips to start, and then there's veggie Mousaka or my favourite, Dolmades (stuffed vine leaves) which are delish. Prices are reasonable - you're looking at around £14 for a main - and if you're a fan of all things Greek, this is somewhere you must try.

The music and the decor of the restaurant will make you feel like you're back on your holidays. The food is great with a wide range of meals no matter what sort of thing you're into - there is plenty to choose from, meat, fish or veggie. The restaurant has had a makeover not too long ago, which has proved to be a part of Lefteris' success along Allerton Road, as it now has the look that you seem to need to make it down this popular stretch. My main downfall is the fact that they only accept cash - not ideal when you are large party dining out.

Al la Turka is a Turkish & Mediterranean restaurant there is lots to choose from, Turkish mixed grill(s), kebabs (posh ones), seafood dishes, risottos/rice dishes and much more. Your totally spoilt for choice. Your spoilt for choice with drinks too, they have a wide selection of ales, lagers, wines, champagnes and cocktails. They have two bars a main one in the restaurant and one on the third floor which they call the "loft" which is nice to depart to once you've finished your meal - they also have a terrist which would have been nice if the weather was more pleasant but hey this is England and it's a bank holiday weekend - the weathers not going to be nice..... But it's an excuse to go back when it's a little warmer to try that terrist out. So we were sat at our table pretty promptly however we had been there a while and several assistants had failed to offer us the menu and drinks (but they were very busy) in the end we had to ask. They also missed a friends meal off the order and they didn't realise until they brought ours out but one, the meal was delayed for quite sometime - would have been better to delay all of our meals so we could eat together (however we understand this is just a mistake, things happen) Despite the wait the food was worth it and so were the drinks! It was Delicious, I had humous to start and the scallop risotto for main - oh so creeeeeammmmy, it was my first time having scallops and oh my god, why have I not had these before? I love them! My partner had the Turkish mixed grill it was really nice and the presentation was very good. It was not disappointing. Despite the hitch in service we were very well entertained throughout the night the music is very good, the atmosphere is brilliant, we had a group dance with a belly dancer who attempted to show us a thing or too but when you've no stomach muscles or rhythm in site this proved quite a work out - Hilarious as you can imagine, it was light hearted and good fun ! I am rating this place as a 4star purely due to the service it could be better overall great place. TIPS ----- - certificate of excellence by trip advisor - - Stockton Heath is a really nice part of Warrington there are some great bars & restaurants - - I would recommend booking weeks in advance as we struggled to get a table that was booking 4 weeks in advance, clearly a popular place -
