Steaming hot full pieces of mushrooms bobbing in cream, a great way to warm up quickly. The moussaka was filling and flavorful, with eggplant, minced lamb, potatoes and cheese sauce. They even served the main with a side of perfectly made fries in case you needed more food.

All the food is prepared on site in the little open kitchen at the heart of the restaurant. You can see the chefs busy cooking away which is great to see. The wine list at Romios consists of Greek and Cypriot wines as well as those from the more well known wine growing countries. If you held it completely upside down, the toppings were like glued on, and they didn't really have a particular taste.
