I am not a huge fan of indoor playgrounds because they are usually dirty and parents dont watch their kids. This place is not like that at all. First its spotless, they even make the kids wash their hands when they enter! The area where the parents sit to watch is directly in front of the play structure so you can have eyes on the kids all the time. Of course when you arrive for the first time you have to fill out a waiver. Which is understandable, what makes this place different is instead of my twins standing there while I fill out the waiver amd try to keep them under control, one of the amazing staff members asked if it would be ok for the kids to go in. FANTASTIC! Obviously this wouldnt work with smaller children but my twins were able to go in, take off their shoes, wash their hands and start playing before I even paid. This is such a blessing. After I paid and they explained the rules about food and water and where to eat AND then another staff member showed me where my kids shoes were and where I could be watching them. The staff is so incredibly nice and the place is super clean. I was so impressed. My boys played for over two hours and even made a friend. We will definitely be back !!!

They began with a brief safety orientation that kept the kids engaged, explaining all the dos and don'ts, which I appreciated! Then they started cranking the foam, and the grassy area filled with endless cascades of foamy fun. The kids loved the fantastic music selection and couldn't resist running out to give us big, foamy hugs--so much fun! At the end of the party, The Foam Crew takes care of the clean up! Wrangling the big tufts of foam with leaf blowers. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely keep them in mind for future parties!

Lately friends have been in an artsy mood and I'm always happy to oblige. I used to be quite crafty…read moreand a pseudo artist back in the day when I worked for an ad agency in SF....awww memories. Fast forward many, many years later I seem to have lost that creative side (other than cooking!) and haven't done much arts and crafts so this was a nice reprieve from the usual. My friend picked a day we were painting Hocus Pocus since it was close to Halloween...I never watched the movie but game to take a class as I haven't done a "paint-and-sip" since my first time in Danville. The concept is having wine and cheese while the instructor guides you thru each step of your painting. After 2 hours of painting, laughs and seeing everyone else's "interpretation" on the subject, you have an end product to take home. A fun experience for all creative levels even if you think you don't have a creative side. The whole point is to go with the flow and have fun. ...and it's not the wine talking. Other classes offered: fused glass, painted charcuterie boards, light saber class (yeah hmmm!), painted wine glass and kids summer camps. Highly recommend for a date night, private event, team building or something different to experience!

I enjoyed getting guidance on how to make the painting better and she gave us tips on blending paints too - We got rose with our painting and it came out immediately so it was easy to sip and paint - Our paintings turned out great in the end! I was pleasantly surprised by the final result and was happy with the progress from start to finish Bad: - The studio was pretty empty so it felt a little sad that we were the only ones Overall this was a great date experience and I'd recommend to others looking for something slightly different than their usual date night activity. The location is also pure perfection because it is within the same block as several restaurants and bars for those who want to grab a bite or drink before or after their show. The only (small) downside is finding parking. We parked in an outdoor lot 2 blocks away for $20. It is about the average rate for the area but still seems steep to me for a 2 hour show. *breathe* Trying to not sweat the small stuff, so I say pay for the steep parking and enjoy the gorgeous theater and watch a nice show! Sure, it was nice that the opera was NOT nine hours long, but that's me. Your mileage may vary. The outside of the building blends in so well to its surroundings, you may not notice it at first. But, the California Theatre is easy to find, and perfect to walk to from parking or a restaurant. Even in the entrance way before you walk in (where there's the Box Office for will-call or day-of tickets), you see the elegance and grandeur that awaits. Still, there's nothing stuff about it at all. Every staff member or volunteer I encountered was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. There happened to be live music in the Lobby before and after the performance. Refreshments are found on each floor. We had Orchestra Seats. The opera looked and sounded crisp. The singing, the set, the orchestra, the costumes all radiated excitement and serious fun. This particular opera, by Bela Bartok, is rarely done and having some familiarity with the composer, I was excited to check it out. Very much enjoyed the opera, and the venue. If you are an SJSU student, ask about tickets and/or big discounts available at the Box Office.

This particular day I went with my dad and Brother to check out what new art pieces they had. We spent about an hour walking through and looking at everything. My brother, major in art and could tell us about different types of oil/paint that was used and how it would last over certain decades or fall off and crack ! Lol so I found the history of how well each artist project with withstand the time of life very interesting as well. I will definitely come back when this gallery changes to another theme! Birthday girl had a great time exploring, playing and eating. The team were so easy to work with from the email correspondence on my Cinnamoroll themed table vision to day of set up. The staff were super quick & accommodating when they were assisting me with the set up. They helped me string up and put a HBD banner and set up my little one's high chair and way more like help bring stuff in, stock the drink fridge, set out the pastries, etc. They just knew what to do & did it straight away. I was amazed by the speed and professionalism! If only I had this level of set up at every birthday party. Barely any dictation or answering questions was needed. What a hugeeee lift off the mental load! There's a dedicated drink fridge in front of the register that kept our drinks chilled and easy for guests to grab. The food table is nice and long so it held a lot of food & we had A LOTT of food. We opted for the photo package too which was nice because usually being the host means you're too busy to take photos and get photos taken of your family. Overall, I highly recommend this place for your little one's special event! I only wish that this place was bigger so that we could invite more friends to our event. Our group ranged from 11 months to just over 2 years old, and there were plenty of suitable toys for our age group. There were plenty of toys to go around that the kids were not trying to take things from one another. I think if they put a fresh coat of paint on things or maybe invested in some newer toys this place would be 5 stars. With that being said, even in its current state it's still worthwhile coming if you have small children!
