WHERE IS THE FRONT DOOR? My first encounter with this golf store was confusing. The only viable entrance is on the Westside and every other door is labeled "Do Not Use" or "Use Other Door" with an arrow towards the back of the store. Finally enter and love the full golf vibe with the massive amount of gold club heads and the digital golf club hitting area. All the big brand golf companies on display including Ping, Titleist, TaylorMade, Srixon, Wilson, XXI0 and Cleveland Golf. Some clearance sections on golf shirts and some decent pricing on golf club bags. Three staff members available to assist customers. read more

I dropped of my clubs to have them re gripped & was told I would receive a call upon completion. I waited 3 hours & then called to check on the status & was told the job would be done in 48 HOURS! I will never spend another dime in this location. In the past I have spent thousands of dollars there & the only reason I went there is because it is close to my house. I will start this review by saying that I know absolutely nothing about golf or golf equipment. We came in on a Saturday afternoon to pick out some new equipment for le boyfriend. I got him a gift card for the holidays and he finally got around to using it. The shop wasn't too busy but not empty. We wandered around for a few minutes and Luis asked us if we had any questions. I let the guys take it from there. He suggested a few different club options and set my boyfriend up on the simulator to test out the clubs to see which one he liked. Even though I was a bystander at that point, I did notice that they have a ton of awesome options for used equipment that is still in really great condition. Of course they have a bunch of new equipment as well. The store has literally everything you need for your golf related activities including accessories... like ball wipes. Lol! My boyfriend got a great club and a pair of golf shoes that were also on sale and still has gift card money to spend. I will say that Luis was as extremely helpful and friendly and if you're new to golf or a seasoned expert the EW store staff seemed very capable of helping! read more

Failed to get IN THE GAME! Walked into the store with my teenage son, we are both dressed in golf attire and are the ONLY customers at the time. I asked for a "swing analysis" inside the hi-tech virtual golf room, in the hopes of inspiring the kid to take up the sport, and perhaps buy a set of clubs. You would have thought I had asked to have my blood pressure checked. After a champion eye-roll the response I received was "we don't do swing analysis, we only determine what clubs you need based on your swing." (HUH?) This was a classic lesson in how to FAIL business 101, how NOT to connect with the customer and how to take the only chance you have to make a sale and DRIVE it away. SWING AND A MISS... read more

The staff is always very helpful... but they swear if you didn't buy your clubs from them (I got my Callaway Razr iron set on ebay for $200 less than Edwin Watts sells them for) that they're counterfeit. The staff is biased towards they're store to some degree. I brought the clubs into the store so they could verify their authenticity. Upon inspection by the staff, they were indeed authentic Callaway Razr irons (of course, I already knew that, I just wanted to prove my point). My advice: Go into Edwin Watts to try out and swing clubs that you're interested in, but definitely research prices on ebay before paying full price at Edwin Watts. read more

I have been looking for golf clubs for about a week now. I have gone to all of the local shops in the area and came to this place is the best... I am a fan! They are professional, funny and very helpful in anything that I needed. I now realize that you must go and try clubs with someone who knows their stuff before I simply purchase online....not to mention their 90-day guarantee. I dealt with their manager and one of their club fitters to purchase a driver. I will be back next week for a set of clubs. I would strongly suggest them to anyone. read more

Did what I wanted them to do but the overall customer service experience was not great ...the assistant manager who checked out my purchase hardly looked up from whatever he was doing at the same time as looking after me ...won't be rushing back here ! Went to get a club fitting for a new driver and the salesperson misrepresented the product to me as being new, when it was actually a demo club. I was upset when I got home and noticed that the grip was nearly worn off already when I had not even used the club yet. I did not expect to have to inspect the club before buying it just to make sure I was getting a new product...I brought it back and demanded they exchange it for a brand new club like I asked for. They did. So I give them 2 stars instead of one. I don't ever plan on going back there. read more

Have been to this place a few times since I live close by. Every time I walk in I get this sleazy used car salesman vibe. On my first visit I got reasonable service and purchased a used driver. On my second visit, after a few swings with a new driver in the launch monitor, I was asked by the salesman if I was going to buy it or not, otherwise he basically implied that I should leave. It was shockingly horrible service. On my third (and last) visit I was "fitted" by a "professional fitter" into a set of irons that were not right for me. I have been through professional fittings before and this was more of a quick sales pitch followed by a few swings. There was no shaft, lie angle, spin rate, launch discussion at all. Once I started asking questions about these things the salesman gave me his card and told me to call him when I was ready to buy then walked away. These people are unprofessional and more importantly don't know what the heck they are doing. If you want a serious fitting go elsewhere. read more
