I have honestly, never been HAPPIER with the outcome of my hair. One would think that doing Blondes is easy, but in all reality it isn't. Patricia has truly mastered the art of blending the right colors, timing and then the most PERFECT haircut to create a stunning outcome. She is super patient, ABSOLUTELY listens to everything you are wanting/hoping for, and will suggest (which no-one should ever doubt) her opinions to make what you want better than you could have imagined!! GREAT SERVICE AND EXCELLENT STYLING!!! Talking with the receptionist, Claudia and having her make my first appointment with a master stylist Patricia, I was not disappointed. Claudia was not only very helpful and efficient but was also very nice to talk with. Patricia was excellent in everything she did. From the consultation, scalp massage to the fantastic haircut and styling, the service was wonderful. Patricia took the time to find out what I wanted and how I took care of my hair. She explained the Aveda products she was using on my hair and did not try to push me into buying any of the products (I did buy some products however because I like them). My family noticed my new style right away and commented on how they thought it was one of the best styles they have seen on me. This salon has been around in my neighborhood for years, but I only recently took a chance here for a highlighting session on my (mostly) natural blonde hair. What a DELIGHTFUL surprise! I am a convert. Will be coming here from now on. All the staff I interacted with were polite, professional, yet warm. They were friendly but also maintained a relaxed and not-too-loud or chatty vibe in the salon, unlike many other salons in Miami. I had the best haircut experience at Edward James Salon this past Friday!!! From the welcoming front desk to my hairdresser Mavis who gave me a delicious lavender oil scalp massage while we agreed on a style. She then proceeded to indicate Mariela what kind of treatment to apply while washing my hair. Mariela not only washed my hair, she took the time to massage my neck, scalp, and forehead!!!! That was totally unexpected and truly appreciated!!!! Simply delightful... Then came the actual haircut with Mavis. She totally got what I wanted and expertly surpassed my expectations! Patricia has been cutting my hair for years and she is the only one I trust! I moved out of town and tried getting a trim at a local salon and it was terrible. I came down to Miami and Patricia got me in and was able to fix it without losing too much of my length. She really saved the day!
