At first I was a little skeptical, as I was concerned if I would get the level of care, for a set monthly fee, as I would from a traditional medical practice. Now, a year later, my concerns were completely unfounded. The level of care and service I get from Jarrod is really quite exemplary. My appointments are unhurried, I can express my questions and concerns fully and Jarrod patiently responds in a caring manner. I often contact Jarrod by text for quick questions, prescription refill requests etc. and I'm always surprised how quickly I get a detailed and speedy response. Very impressed. In that hour Jarrod actively listened to my concerns, wants and needs. This appointment was by far, left me more comfortable than I have ever been with a doctor or nurse. Jarrod diagnosed my carpal tunnel and gave me a great brace review (which I promptly ordered) and can say, I had the best night's sleep in many years! He also changed up my anxiety meds, my old prescription left me feeling drowsy and tired. I tried my new prescription and was left amazed after 30 minutes when my anxiety was gone. I said can you look at my chart and see why there's a difference? Her response was "you know, if you weren't so short with me I could work with you on it" I was shocked that any personnel would treat a patient that way. They don't work on Fridays, and many offices take 1 to 1.5 hours for lunch. When you call within those very limited hours you can often wait on hold for 13 to 27 minutes. Each time, they will tell you that they are short staffed. This has been my experience for the last 5 years without exception. Short staffed? Isn't that just bad HR management?

I was polite throughout the call and even asked if I could pay the balance soon, but I still felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience. No one should feel uncomfortable or talked down to for asking a simple question about their bill. I'm amazed that she takes time to really listen while also running on time most days. My 4 year old and I both see her and love her. They are damaging their own reputation that's going up in flames by turning patients away for being 60 seconds late and causing mental trauma amongst them. Blatant negligence: Without proper directions in the hospital, patients in an unfamiliar environment get lost and have to backtrack and interrupt other staff for assistance to find the exact location they must be. One would think Providence Medical Group-Medford Family Practice would offer clear and concise directions to their office once in the hospital so patients know which elevator to take to arrive on time OR be a little less militant. Providence Medical Group-Medford Family Practice has no perception of decency and they refuse to demonstrate their commitment to their patients. Although, what they do offer is a lot of sticky bureaucratic red tape. I highly recommend everyone to seek even the lowest level of professionalism elsewhere and avoid this landmine at all costs.
