I LOVE IT HERE! I have had multiple problems over the last 3 months, Crohn's disease, endometriosis, and even a few others, they are always so sweet and concerned for me. And when I do finally get a diagnosis they are always able to help me after with getting it taken care of and being proud and supportive. If I could I would tell every person in the rogue valley to go to onepeak medical! They are occasionally hard to get ahold of if you are especially impatient but they always get back to you in a matter of hours to even a day or two, at most. read more

My husband was a patient at one peak for a couple months and finally had to leave to get a new primary care doctor. One Peak is terrible on follow through, had him do test that they came back and said "oh, we had you do the wrong one" after the fact and never sent his. Information to the cardiologist like they were supposed to. They push their own supplements and after he left there had to pay to get his medical records which to me seems like it should be illegal. They can't provide account information from office. Doctors don't stay long because of poor management. They "lost" my blood draw for testing and when I called for results weeks later they told me I had to come back for a second draw. When were they going to notify me? Just had my first and last visit here. I went to establish care as a new patient. I was in the office for no more than 10 minutes. All that happened was the PA read the health history that I had emailed to them before my visit. No exam, no prescriptions, no tests - nothing. Yesterday, they has the nerve to send me a bill for $535. For a 10 minute visit?!?!? It's outrageous. I called the billing office and the talked to a snotty woman who told me that if I had asked for the right kind of appointment, then insurance would have covered it. So it's my fault? I'm livid right now, and trying to figure out how to fight this. No wonder their found has multi-million dollar mansions all over the place - they prey on their patients. read more

After arriving 15 minutes early for my initial appointment to establish care, they told me the provider was "sick" and I'd have to reschedule. The provider I ended up seeing seemed okay, but referred me to a telehealth provider for one of my medications even though I've been taking it for seven years. She would have known that had she reviewed my medical records from my previous doctor, but I'm not sure my medical records were sent over. I couldn't get a straight answer from the person who scheduled my appointment about how I should go about getting them sent. She merely said, "we have a process for that." That vague answer was similar to the one I got about scheduling a telehealth appointment to get a medication I've been taking for years. Both the provider and the person at the front desk said this nameless telehealth provider would call me to set up the appointment. I left a voicemail at the office today to find out when someone would contact me and they have yet to return my message. Update: I finally had to go to the office in person because no one was getting back to me. The receptionist was over-the-top rude. So much so that the office manager who intervened said she did not like how she was treating me. The office manager, who was perhaps the one person who genuinely tried to help me, told me that a telehealth appointment was not only illegal due to interstate licensing (the telehealth provider is from the Midwest it turns out), but is also not covered by my insurance. So, after spending more than a month waiting to get into One Peak it's going to take months to get an appointment at the second place One Peak has referred me to. When all they had to do was review my records from my previous provider, or, at the very least, the paperwork I submitted online. However, according to the medical director, the medical staff doesn't take the time to do that. I'm serious. She said that. I guess if you're busy pushing non-FDA-approved supplements on patients instead of treating them who would have the time? Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. read more

Horrible. First of all, this is a *boutique* meant to sell you supplements/injections...DO NOT GO HERE for medical care. This review is being left after YEARS of trials and tribulations. The ONLY reason I established care here in 2020 is bc I couldn't get an appt anywhere else. Stephanie Romo was pleasant to talk to, and seems to care...but you'll never be able to reach anyone on their phone. They'll try to bill you for things and when I asked why they didn't bill to my insurance she was like "uhhhh yea I guess I can try that..."...ya think?! Spoiler alert: my insurance was happy to cover the cost... I have called upwards of 20 times over the years and have literally *never* gotten someone to answer other than the very first week I was trying to establish care in 2020. I had a workers comp claim that needed to be done efficiently and they bungled the entire thing repeatedly. I kept having to go in-person and eventually talked to their office manager about it...telling her I came in during a pandemic without an appt bc I couldn't reach anyone on the phone and when I got there, THREE office staff were laughing and chatting?? Phone not ringing? Message portal not working? Told its bc they were short staffed and had new staff?? I literally see them chatting at the front desk...Unacceptable. Fast forward to now, my hormonal birth control refill request has been DENIED after two weeks of me calling my pharmacy and calling OnePeaks office trying to figure out what's going on, and there's no reason listed for the denial?? Again can't ahold of anyone. Mind you I have severe endometriosis and being off the pill means I have literally debilitating pain. This is absolutely atrocious "care." AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. My daughter recently has been having allergic reactions to certain foods, so we decided to get an allergy test done. Her old doctor recommended OnePeak Medical because he knew lots of patients that go there and it's close to home so it seemed convenient. The first appointment went great and there we scheduled an allergy test and some blood labs to be done later that week. On the day of the blood draw they only had taken 2 vials of her blood which seemed odd since last time we did allergy tests they took 8. Later THAT DAY my daughter tried to call the office to check and make sure they got enough blood for both the tests. On the phone call the lady my daughter talked to said that everything should be fine because allergy test and blood labs were written on her files. At the time we thought it was okay but looking back it seems that this person she talked to had little to no medical knowledge since she didn't know the proper procedures. About two weeks go by and we get the blood labs back, everything looks normal, but we needed to wait a little longer for the allergy test to come back so we can hopefully figure out her problem. Another two weeks pass and my daughter has been calling OnePeaks line trying to get ahold of someone who can get her answers. Every time she called she was talking to a new person, and they were never people who were at the clinic that could get her any useful information. She tried calling some more, emailing, and writing through the patient portal until she had to go down to the office and request the information about her allergy test (which wasn't given). It wasn't until about two weeks later, and many phone calls that we finally found out that HER ALLERGY TEST WAS NEVER TAKEN. Over the course of this month and a half, (since we got the initial blood draw) her problems have gotten worse and now she's always feeling sick and has trouble eating food. She went in today to address more problems she's been having and she said the staff was very helpful and kind. The communication through the office seems to be extremely poor. My daughter ending up getting another blood draw today through OnePeak so that we could get her comprehensive allergy test finally done, since her problem is worsening and ordering one through the hospital might take longer. The lady taking her blood was under the impression that we were doing both the allergy test and the blood labs, which my daughter clarified wasn't the case. The lady who was taking the blood noted that for both tests you would need to take 4 vials of blood which was never taken during the first blood draw (only 2 were taken). The communication both in the office and outside are very hard to work with. I wish when you called the number on the google page it sent you to someone who was actually at your office and not someone who knows no medical knowledge. I also hope that they can make it clear to whoever is drawing blood exactly what they are supposed to do. I thought people should know about her experience before they decided to go to OnePeak Medical, it's unfortunate. read more

I have never had such a wonderful experience as I have here, first off I love Whitney, she is the best DR I have ever seen. She is thoughtful, mindful of thinking about your symptoms outside of the box and detail oriented. She truly cares and it shows. Many Drs move quick and forget about their patients suffering but she does not, she is careful about listening to your needs and puts together a strategic game plan to help you. I don't understand all these poor reviews. I know in the past, it was hard to get through by phone, but that has been corrected. I have the BEST provider in Grants Pass, Oregon, Erikia Ramseur. I mainly use One Peak for hormones, but Erikia really cares and will absolutely refer you to specialists if you have concerns. She's very caring and knowledgeable. She never rushes me through appointments and will take extra time to explain things to me, as I process a little slower. I would highly recommend One Peak to get your hormones balanced. You will feel SO much better. It takes about six months, I would say, to get everything dialed in, but they let you know that upfront- no one has ever pushed supplements on me and you definitely can get the supplements online or through Amazon or wherever you want. If you don't feel comfortable with certain medication protocols, they will work with you. I would say give One Peak a chance! read more

Definitely agree with ALL the one star reviews. Once the NP I was seeing and very happy with, left Peak, I've had nothing but awful experiences; now I understand why she left! Anika Farouq should not practice medicine in any capacity. She lacks knowledge in endocrine health, her recommendations were contradictory and she's the most abrasive, rude provider I have ever seen. It's absurd that the majority of their providers come from an ER background to a 'functional medicine' clinic; it's apparent she lacks competence in this setting. First off good luck getting through on the phones, they never answer the phones and when they do, they will put you on hold and hang up on you. If you get the front office staff on a good day, they may be nice, but annoyed that they have to help you. the doctors change offices and leave so frequently and they will charge you around $350 just to meet a new doctor even though it's not your fault the doctor left. and that's just a meeting you cannot talk any of your They will put you on testosterone along with a million other vitamins my faith is completely been lost in peek and it feels like they're just out to make as much money as possible off every patient. They will try and convince you that their vitamin shots and infusions are the best thing for you. One Dr suggested I come a couple times a week! Perhaps this is an unhappy client or troll that feels the need to leave multiple bad reviews under various names because prior to this it was all 5 star reviews. Mine will be another 5 star! I have felt great about my treatment and care from one peak, I see Whitney, she is extremely knowledgeable about an array of things. I wouldn't trust anyone else honestly as I feel she is careful about what she does in terms of labs and treatment. I see Kyana for facial derm and she is amazing too. Front desk always sweet and helpful. Kindness goes a long way at this clinic, they are very busy and also human, so being demanding isn't a way to be a good patient!! If you want to bang your head against a wall trying to get medical care then this is the practice for you. 90% of referrals never get sent. When you call to check on it they tell you there's no record of the referral being requested by your doctor when you were sitting right there and watched your doctor type it into the computer. 2 weeks later when you call back to check on it again they say oops we forgot to send it. Another week finally they send it. When you get into the doctor you were referred to they have to ask you what the referral was for because they just got a mess of records that had nothing to do with the issue you were being referred for. Good luck getting a medication, especially one that requires prior authorization. Weeks, a month, maybe longer leaving voicemails and playing phone tag and it might still not be completed. When you call to check on your medications that you never got or the referrals that were never sent, they will be rude to you like you are bothering them and wasting their time. Your doctor will forget your medical history and rediagnose your health issues as new things that you don't have that don't even make sense. Your doctor might even forget the medication that you've been on for 3 years and prescribe the wrong one and then tell you you're wrong when you point it out. That's what happened to me. You will receive misinformation about side effects of drugs and procedures. You will be told that clearly listed and common side effects that you are having from a medication don't exist. The doctor might even have the nerve to argue with you about it. If you would like to feel like you are repeatedly banging your head against a wall just trying to get a basic medication that you've been on for several years definitely go here. read more

I've been with one peak for going on four years. And I can tell you that they have never done what they said they'd do!!! In regards to referrals and ordering lab work. I have to hound them and waste so much time going back and forth to get a referral actually sent. I started at their hillcrest location then moved to their white city location and now I'm in the talent location. Literally every single one of their locations suck at communicating! I just called the specialist in regards to an abnormal pap and cancer runs in my family. This abnormal pap was almost a year ago. Twice they were supposed to send out a referral and twice they didn't in the last year. Let's pray I don't actually have cancer bc they sure don't seem to care to follow through with their work in order for my health to improve. They are dangerous. And twice they have ordered me fasting labs and I go to get them done and a week later they let me know "whoops we sent the old labs you've already had done. We need to reschedule." THEN 'prescribe' some handy supplements found 'right here in our office.' They will offer all sorts of injections and again charge way too much money... They do not practice medicine here. They practice money. When you finally have had enough? The people treat you like a piece of garbage. I love the office staff. My husband, sister, daughter, many friends and I all are clients. That being said, whomever is running the website, needs a talking to, AT MINIMUM. We had an event this evening that ended at 530pm, so we knew that we could get to the Hillcrest office before 6pm (closing time according to the website). Note that we could have come before our event if we needed to, but no need, as they don't close at 6pm. WRONG! We got there at 545 and the doors were locked. Really? For all of the money that we spend, that is well worth the advise and direction, we at least expect the doors to be open when you say they will be. I'm really disappointed. I go to the Hillcrest Office. The providers and medical assistants are great when you can have access to them. The communication system is awful. If you want a life of frustration and "ghosting" to get basic medical care, then this is the place for you. They don't answer the phone, return calls, answer emails, or respond to requests through the patient portal in a timely manner if at all. My initial visit in the Grants Pass office was great. i felt that she really listened to me. of course, I purchased the supplements she suggested. BUT...from then on I was assigned tele health appt. The provider, Emily, and her assistant, Krystal were great. The Grants Pass office NEVER answers their phone nor do they call back when you leave a message. Never! You might as well not even leave a message. After many months of frustration I called it quits. I completed a records release in order to have my records sent to me. I guess it got filed in the "round" file. So, two months later....still no records. No one calls or emails back to try and help me except for the tele health assistant Krystal. She is not physically in the office but works remotely so she can't get my records for me. This practice is a GIANT waste of time unless you are interested in wasting your $ on supplements. The worst medical clinic I have ever been to. Office is terrible, they never answer their phone, when they do it's not your office it's someone from out of the area. If you want information or need to get someone to help with your prescriptions, you have to personally go into the office and push to have them send your prescriptions to the pharmacy. I have certain concerns about my health care, and at my visits, I feel like they are up against the clock and need to rush you out of there so they can get to the next visit. My doctor didn't have the fact that she gave me estrogen pellets, she argued with me and said I was taking the pill form. Finally I told her to look at her records and after digging she found the information. I was so excited about alternative care and HRT, I told my family and friends about it and many of them moved here, now I feel bad that I recommended them because everyone has had the same concern. I have concerns about how they "practice" medicine. The owner sat in on my new patient appointment because the provider was new. This seemed reasonable to me. After discussing my medical history, we discussed my reasons for seeking care. Chiefly to transition from an SNRI to an SSRI I'd had success with previously. The owner then informed my provider that they should order a battery of blood tests, many of which had been done within recent history and would have been available to them when they requested my records from my previous provider. The owner also suggested a hormone panel that is not indicated for someone who is on hormonal birth control AND not experiencing infertility. The owner appears to be more interested in billing than actually practicing medicine. My second concern came when they tried to prescribe a mountain of supplements they conveniently sell in office and bunch of hormone creams based on the panel results that cannot be used as a baseline when I AM ON HORMONAL BIRTH CONTROL. When I asked to discuss my transition from the SNRI to the SSRI I was told to just open my capsule and take half...according to the pharmacists I am fortunate to have in my life, this is terrible advice, as the capsules are there to assure absorption past your stomach where the pH of your gut would destroy the medication. The provider also failed to provide a transition plan or call in the Rx I was asking to transition onto. I expect my providers to care for me, consulting with other medical professionals or pharmacists if you are unsure how to transition a medication is well within your professional scope. The fact that had to develop my own transition plan, tell them what to order, and then walk through it with a pharmacist to confirm what I had developed was safe/made sense is DEEPLY concerning. I am a college educated person with a background in human biology. What happens to the folks who have better things to do than become Google MDs? I need teachers to teach, actors to act, ag workers to grow the food that supports us all, and doctors to DO THEIR DAMNED JOBS. On the upside? Their waiting room is comfortable? read more

I have had 2 visits at this clinic with 2 different providers who both provided the requested care and were thorough. Patient communication is in need of improvement. I did not receive my lab results. (by Federal Law "21st Century Cures Act, requires that healthcare providers give patients access without charge to all the health information in their electronic medical records "without delay.") I had to call/message the clinic several times. I then, only received partial results. And had to send several more messages to see ALL the results. These were routine labs, none of which were abnormal. I was told that I needed to see the provider to discuss my "normal labs". (just a way for them to bill my insurance-which probably wouldn't have been covered). Additionally, they obtained unnecessary labs, not covered by insurance. I called the office manager to discuss my incorrect lab draws and bill. She returned my call and I was not available. I left another voicemail with no return call for a week. I called back and was told she was off for the next week. I asked who was acting in her absence and was told no one. I then reached out to the CEO of the company who quickly called me. In my email I shared the poor experiences I have had with the clinic. I wanted the unnecessary labs removed from the bill. She was very apologetic and assured me that I would receive a corrected lab bill. It is now 3 weeks later, I received another bill, that has not been corrected. To say the least, this is a poorly managed medical clinic. I work in Healthcare and I know how a good system works. This is definitely not one. My welcome to the clinic was curtsey of Whitney Johnston who made sure to give me attitude as she came out of a side door and stomped off through the main entrance, I took that as a bad sign of what was to come and sure enough it was! I had made an appointment to establish a primary a care physician and get my meds refilled, which I stated on the intake form (twice) once on the online form which the day of the appointment they couldn't find and once again during the appointment, I meet my nurse and tell her why I'm there and she proceeds to tell me she doesn't have time to look at any of my medical issues and isn't able to refill my meds but have no fear, she has a binder full of all the tests she will order aka bilk the insurance provider, I told her my coming there was a waste of time and promptly left before she was able to sell me and life changing vitamin d supplements that I could get at any grocery store, these guys cater to wealthy, limp wristed hypochondriacs, Anne Heche would have been their dream client read more

Peak's approach and staff have entirely changed my life --as a social worker I have, for years, struggled with acute anxiety, depression, and so many physical reactions (hair loss, sleeplessness, skin rashes/acne, disrupted men's trial cycle, GI pains, brain fog, forgetfulness, social isolation). I went to Peak for some help and advice for balancing hormones. My practitioner was pleasant, understanding and seemed knowledgeable, the staff pleasant and efficient, and I was exited to find a more holistic approach to gyn. issues. BUT, including the consultations and bloodwork, ONE hormone pellet, which lasts for approximately four months, cost me, out-of-pocket, almost $900! And that is with insurance! I decided against getting a second pellet (for obvious reasons) and was prescribed testosterone cream. However the prescription was never given to the pharmacy, and despite several phone calls, never happened. I really wanted to like Peak. read more

Peak medical is the worst business in this valley I have ever dealt with!!!!&. Over a year ago I went there as a new Patient to be established. I informed the them that I had waited a year since any labs, mammograms or vaginal exams. She asked me about 10 minutes worth the questions and was more focused on something called an "O shot" than the usual annual exam questions. Then she had me go take some labs at which point I thought I'd be going back to room to room but no. I thought this was odd but I'd never been there before so I went with it... a few weeks later I went back to discuss results. I asked about having usual exams and was informed that they don't do that every year and I was like cool. Fast forward a few moths... get bill says not covered because I haven't met deductible. So I call and tt this man and tell him my insurance covers at 100% he tells me it doesn't matter how we billed it you haven't met your deductible yet and I inform him preventative does fall under the deductible, he says he will talk to doctor and resubmit. At this point I haven't received a call or a bill so I assume it was reviled and taken care of... Nope. FWD a few months I call to verify to make sure all has been taken care of as year end was coming up. NOPE nothing has been done and he no longer works there. So I start over with a new lady... she say that she will look into it and " call me back". I tell her "that's what the last person told me, so that concerns me!" I hear nothing for several weeks. Finally she calls and tells me it's been too long and they can't resubmit and the they did offer me 40% off my bill through email! First off that's not a call and who negotiates through email?! (Not to mention I rarely check my email) I told her 40% off is insulting Considering it should've been paid at 100% had it been billed appropriately in the first place. She told the doctors office won't budge. Reluctantly and passed off as hell I set up a payment plan to pay and told her to send me a bill... never got one. FWD a few more moths I get another call requesting payment in full $1200 without the 40% off. I tell the 3rd lady the entire story she says " let me look into it and call you back". I tell her my concern about the first two conversations and how they didn't follow up as promised. Shannon in billing was the third lady. She called me back same day and said she did see in notes that labs were annual labs and she was going to look further into it. A few a days later I get a letter stating that I am being sent to collections in 10 days if I do not pay the full amount of $1200. So I call Shannon she looks into it comes back and says doctors office is not budging I owe the full amount! Shannon has been the only person that has communicated followed up and had any empathy at all!
