It's a small Korean shop that sells raw meats for Korean BBQ and also prepared foods. The banchan and kimbap are grab and go, but other foods like Korean Fried Chicken, beef bulgogi and dosirak are made to order. They also have sauna eggs (which I've never had, but have a cool name and seem interesting, lol). I dropped by with my mom because we were in the area and we love checking out new places. We had just gone for lunch and were stuffed, and already had plans for dinner, otherwise I would have ordered a dosirak because they were only $14.95. My mom picked up a small seaweed salad for $5.95, which she enjoyed. Service was courteous. Next time I will return hungry ;) They are takeout only. They are located in a small plaza. The Chicken Teriyaki Bento box was unremarkable, but the Takoyaki was excellent! The Takoyaki was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with tiny pieces of chewy octopus. It was covered in Takoyaki sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, and lots of bonito. So much bonito. I love bonito. Lol. You get 6 Takoyaki for $10. Which is a bit pricey, but they were so good! I asked for no sesame seeds, so I think that's why I did not get the seaweed topping, by the way. The Chicken Teriyaki Bento box was run of the mill, in my opinion. It tasted like food court Bento to me. It was satisfactory, but did not wow me like the Takoyaki. For your side you can choose maki, spring rolls or gyoza. I got maki and received 4 California rolls and 2 cooked Salmon rolls. They tasted fresh, but not dissimilar to fast food sushi chains. The chicken was lean chicken breast, which I appreciated, but it was nothing to write home about. The rice was nicely cooked and the vegetables were ok, albeit a tad too oily for my liking. The vegetables were bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, bean sprouts and too many onions, lol. I also got a wedge of orange. By the way, I requested no sesame seeds, that's why the maki had none, and none were sprinkled on the chicken. Service was courteous and efficient. They said my order would take 20 minutes and when I returned in 20 minutes, it was ready for me. Even though mask mandates have been lifted, at the time of my visit, all staff still wore masks and kitchen staff also wore gloves. I'm a stickler for hygiene, so Pandemic or not, I greatly appreciate it when people preparing my food wear gloves, hairnets, and masks. The restaurant is really tiny. Not too many seats and a bit snug in there. Street parking only.

I stopped by Nippon Sushi to pick up a Maki Platter to take to my parents' place to supplement the other food that was going to be there (for an early Father's Day celebration). It was 48 pieces for $60. It was a huge hit. Everyone enjoyed it. I liked the variety of rolls and my parents liked that it had a lot of rolls without raw fish, as they don't eat raw fish. The rolls were mostly filling with not too much rice, which I like. The rolls could have been rolled a bit tighter, as they did fall apart a bit when they were picked up. This is my only critique. We got 8 pieces of each kind: California, spicy crab, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, crispy spicy shrimp tempura, and Green Dragon. Service was courteous and efficient.
