Ordered: 3x Philly Cheese Steak subs - not bad, decent size, beef was a little dry 1x Grilled Chicken poutine - crowd pleaser. Medium was enough. Four pieces mixed Fried Chicken - definitely crispy and most chicken. Fully cooked. Cheeseburger - not bad. Good size Three chicken tenders - crispy and delicious. Onion Rings - nice big batch, hot and crispy. The place lives up to its name but they seem a bit immature, literally the staff are all really young. They need better processes for handling online and Uber orders. I'd be concerned with some of the food / workplace safety stuff. Guys, wear hair nets. My husband and I had lunch here recently and we loved the fried chicken here! I had the 3 piece chicken tenders combo which was $6.99 and came with fries, a can of pop and a dipping sauce. My husband got the 2 piece fried chicken (thighs) combo ($7.95). The chicken here is so crispy. I don't know how they do it, but the breading is excellent. It's well seasoned and not too salty, and oh so crispy but not too greasy. The breading is not smooth, it's kind of flaky. It's really difficult to explain, but it's delicious. The meat itself is moist and tender. The chicken tenders are real breast meat, not re-formed meat like chicken nuggets. The fries are regular-cut fries and also very crispy. For my dipping sauce I asked them if they had sweet and sour sauce and they said that they did, but when my order came out my sauce looked like mayo. I asked if my sauce was wrong and they said it was sweet and sour. I said that I thought it would look more like a plum sauce and not mayo-based. The guy working there asked me if I wanted a different sauce instead and I said yes, I'd like BBQ instead. He gave me BBQ sauce and told me to keep the sweet and sour sauce and try it. I thought that that was a nice thing to do. He was really nice and easy-going about it too, which I appreciated. The sweet and sour sauce was weird in my opinion. It tasted like a mayo-based honey garlic sauce. I didn't like it. I much preferred the BBQ sauce, which tasted like regular BBQ sauce. My husband got the honey mustard sauce which tasted similar to McDonald's honey mustard sauce. For soda pops they had Fanta. How cool is that? I got the Grape Fanta :) Crispy's is a fast food place. You order at the counter, pay, and then pick up your order when it's done. It takes about 10-15 minutes. The staff there are very nice. The restaurant including the washrooms are very clean. This is my new favourite place for fast food fried chicken. The price here is awesome too. It's where the Quizno's used to be at the corner of Meadowlands and Woodroffe. It's in a tiny strip mall with Wind Mobile, Puffalot, Mr Mozzarella and The New Hong Kong Chinese Food. There's a small parking lot with free parking. read more

Immediately off the bat what I love about this place is that it's boneless chicken - that way you can enjoy dark meat without having to worry about those pesky bones. Decided on a 10 piece mix combo which came with fries and drinks...and of course delicious sauces. Decided on ranch, honey garlic and honey mustard sauces - these really take the crispy, fried chicken to another level. Though I opted for takeout, the chicken was warm and crispy when I got home. The chicken was juicy and very fresh. You can tell the oil is fresh and not too heavy like you get with other chain fast food restaurants. I'm not sure if you know that usually meat with a bone adds flavour and moisture, but this chicken was super juicy and delicious. I had grown weary of relying on chains for good fried chicken. I mean, I love Popeye's so much, but it's so far from where I live. Not that this is food you eat all the time, but ya gotta keep your options open! My boyfriend and I had dinner at Crispy's tonight and we were both really impressed. Their fried chicken has a unique seasoning that is slightly spicy, and - AND - it's BONELESS! GET FATTER FASTER! So basically you pay for however much chicken you want, and you can make it a combo for $3 (fries, pop, dipping sauce). Also, the fries were delicious and crispy! I hate fries that are too potatoey, so these were right on the money. Friendly service, good prices, good variety. My only complaints are there is no condiments bar, and pop is bottled and canned only, but other than that we had a great experience and we will certainly be back. read more

I went back and had their chicken burger, and it was really good. The chicken was well cooked and seasoned and the portion size was actually huge! My husband ordered the philly cheese steak again and it was just as tasty as the first time he had it. The TV was on this time around so the ambiance was better, and all the staff were friendly and were wearing their shirts with the store logo (which wasn't the case the first time we went). Our order took far to long to come (20 mins). The plus side, it was a very fresh order - everything was piping hot so I had to wait to dig into my chicken. The chicken was tender, but not as much as I would have liked for a good fried chicken and it was not as juicy either. The seasoning was very bland because I couldn't taste a thing, even though it looked well seasoned. While it was a good meal because I was starving - I would not order it again and go for something else on the menu. My husbands sandwhich was really good, the meat was well seasoned and it was cheesy! Went in my first time today, ordered a philly cheese steak meal with some gravy. Yummy yummy in my tummy! The bun was nice a soft and a bit crispy on the outside and nice and chewy, I was a little bit thrown off by the lettuce and tomatoes and sauce but it was DELICIOUS. Fries are golden and crispy. My friend ordered chicken and it looked amazing as well, he said it's the best chicken you can get in the area. It looks very crispy and juicy! Service was swift, everyone was really nice. Excellent place for a quick meal. I've been here a few time as it is on my way back from work. I got to try a few items on the menu. The chicken chunks are substantial in size, juicy, and well flavoured. The breading is crispy and full of flavour and the meat is just superb; moist and not at all greasy. The philly cheesesteak is my favourite item on the menu. It's got AMAZING flavours and a generous amount of tender meat. If you are in a mood for a burger, you can't go wrong with Crispy's Chicken Burger. It combines the goodness of the chicken breast chunks with buns and burger toppings. The staff are friendly and the service as quick as it gets considering that the chicken was fresh and came out of the fryer for our order. I highly recommend this place, give it a try. read more

This is my favourite fried chicken in the city. It takes them about 15 minutes to prep your food, but it's worth the wait (and that's the price of fresh food). They are very accomodating when I want to customize my order, like if I want it extra crispy or all dark/white meat. Great seasoning on the breading. The gravy is really good. I frigging love this chicken shack it seriously puts all others to shame I bought some and brought it home and after not eating all of it, I was about to eat it the next morning i thought of the only way this chicken could get a little better, I jammed that Sh*t in between some waffles and it was just phenomenal. I love that they make everything to order so many times you go to other places and are served this heat lamp chicken that is a mix bag of 20 minutes old or been there for over an hour. And if you happen to have the audacity to ask them to cook it fresh your are treated with a look as if you are just the scum of the earth and you alone have ruined this persons day by making them have to actually do something. This establishment may have had the best service I have ever received. After my high school graduation ceremony, my friends and I were looking for a place to eat. One person suggested it since it was nearby, and we eventually found ourselves at the strip mall that Crispy's is located in. However, it was around 10:15pm, and the sign said the place closed at 10pm. We began to think of alternatives, but then one of the employees ran over, unlocked the door, and let all ten of us in. The two men at the front were very friendly, considering they just let ten teenagers into their place after hours. I, being the last to order, get the two piece boneless fried chicken meal, which comes to $10.10. Instead of giving me $9.90 in change, the man at the counter takes a dime from his own tip jar, throws it in the cash register, and gives me a $10 bill. The wait was a bit longer than one would like, but this is very understandable considering the circumstances. I would assume that they had already cleaned their equipment for the night, but decided to take our business anyway. What I really found amazing was that even the employees in the kitchen seemed perfectly fine with working past hours. There was only a small opening through which we could see the kitchen, but all seemed to be in order. Halfway through the preparation of our food is done, the man who unlocked the door for us comes out and asks us if it's alright to be served in takeout containers. He explains that they usually serve everything on real dishes with real cutlery, but using takeout containers would be much simpler. Of course, we all oblige. The fact that they even serve with real dishes at any time was very surprising to me, and I was impressed by the fact. Soon, our food comes. I was smart, and ordered only two pieces of chicken with fries, a dip, and a drink, which was more than enough for this 260 pound man. My skinnier friends were not as lucky, and ordered quite a bit of food. The portion sizes were considerably large. Additionally, the food was of exceptional quality, being freshly prepared just for us at this time. You could tell that not a single thing was frozen and reheated in a microwave. We sit and eat until there is no more room left in our stomachs. We pack up what's left, thank the staff, and waddle our way out of the restaurant. TLDR; Stayed open past hours just for a group of 10 teenagers. Provided astounding service and quality food (especially for the price you're paying). Will definitely return when it is not past 10pm and when I am not with a group of 10. Go Crispy's! read more
