Mr Lube

Went in with a flat tire and was told it couldn't be fixed so I spent countless hours trying to get…read morequotes on a new replacement tire. Out of curiosity, I went to another shop and they were able to patch the tire for under $50. Not happy with these guys.

1 STAR - STRAIGHT-UP SCAM OPERATION…read more If i could give zero i would have. I went to Mr. Lube for ONE thing: a basic oil change. What I got instead was unauthorized work, hidden charges, no receipt, and a damaged vehicle. They secretly added services I never agreed to, including dumping a fuel cleaner into my gas tank WITHOUT my knowledge or consent. Shortly after, my fuel pump failed. My car is now undriveable, I'm dealing with repair costs, and I was forced to miss family obligations over the holidays -- including my special-needs sister's birthday. That damage can't be refunded. Red flags everywhere: * No paper receipt * No emailed receipt * Charges added without explanation or approval * Claimed my brake fluid was "black" but never showed me, then changed it anyway and charged me * Told me in person they'd take $120 off because we're repeat customers -- the bill shows $10 off When I called to question the charges, their response was absolutely insane: "We will refund you even if we did or didn't do it." Read that again. That is NOT how an honest business talks. That is the language of people who don't know what they charged for, don't care, or do this regularly. This place relies on: * Pressure tactics * Fear-based upselling * Doing work first and asking questions never * Hoping customers won't notice or won't fight back They touched parts of my car they were NEVER authorized to touch, charged me anyway, and then acted casual about it like it was no big deal. Meanwhile, I'm stuck without a vehicle and dealing with the consequences. This is not incompetence -- this is deceptive and unethical behavior. If you value your car, your money, or basic honesty, DO NOT GO HERE these people take advantage of women should be FIRED immediately as it reflects bad on the franchise and lost a Repeated customer and will continue to vouch for the scamming done at the shop. I have called them about my mechanic because it was the fuel cleaner that messed up my car and now no one's replying or emailing back because no one wants to take accountability, unfortunately, I'm going to have to take this further and if I have to take it to the media, I'll take it to the city. I'm gonna take it the distance if they don't answer me back and fit this that I wasn't trying to pay because I fuck up my idiots did, so not only did I get scammed. I had to pay an extra bill on top of that that I didn't have to pay if these assholes were. Honest and didn't take advantage of me. If you want your car to come back and work condition, do not go here.

I have been driving for more decades than I care to mention, so I know that maintenance inevitably…read morebecomes a necessary--and often annoying--part of car ownership. Mark-Caesar is an exception to the rule when it comes to the many issues owners have to deal with. First and foremost, he is a real, thoughtful mechanic, not just a technician who replaces parts. He is also often less expensive than dealerships, while delivering higher-quality work--especially as your vehicle ages. Years ago, I owned a Sienna that leaked oil. The former Weitzes Toyota "repaired" it for $900, only for the oil light to come back on. Their solution was that I should consider buying a new vehicle rather than addressing the issue. Mark was aghast at that suggestion. He recommended an oil change with a high-zinc content, asked me to monitor the oil, and return when it dropped by 1L. The issue was resolved for under $200, and I was able to keep the vehicle for several more years. On another occasion, an extended family member's Venza had a non-functioning left high beam. The dealership ed a very expensive and unnecessary $3,000+ repair to replace the entire headlight assembly. Mark identified the actual part causing the problem and resolved the issue for less than a third of the dealership's quote. He is straightforward, honest, and genuinely has his customers' best interests at heart. In fact, if your vehicle is no longer worth repairing, he will tell you honestly to get rid of it. I have happily recommended friends and family members to Mark-Caesar's, and they have become regular customers who all sing his praises. You would be hard-pressed to find anyone equal to him, never mind better.

Mark is one of the good ones. It is one of life's great pleasures to find a mechanic you trust…read more Mark is always trying to get my car back on the road as efficiently as possible while effectively giving me the necessary details to decide what gets repaired now and what can wait.
