We are very cost conscious (some may say frugal, some may say cheap), but we try to spend wisely. We tried to do our own painting the first time, but we gave up rather quickly (painting is just not our thing, apparently). So we priced around with 5 painting companies and WarrPaints daily rate worked out to be around a 30-50% savings over others 'by the job/materials included' rates. We worried at first that maybe they would be really slow (since we were paying by the day, it's a valid concern). On the contrary, these 2 are super fast, efficient and quality painters. We have hired them twice for a total of 6 days of work now (over 2 years). They always surprise us with how quickly they complete the job. We make sure to have back up projects to have for when they finish our main projects. They have painted our ceilings, kids rooms, kitchen, dining room, living room accents, added trim to our shed, stained our front door, painted our porch, did touch up throughout our home, patched holes, cracks and did cosmetic repair work when we swapped out our huge kitchen light box for recessed lights (which left a huge box area with holes that needed repair- you would never know it had been there now). These 2 are awesome. They can give you a pretty spot on idea of how long it will take them to do your job if you give them room dimensions and any repair requirements too. That said, Jeff and his team did a very good job…read more We needed paint touch ups throughout the house i.e.: baseboards, cabinets, a few walls that show natural wear/scuff marks and some light texture work. Jeff came out same day to provide an estimate which I really appreciated. After some negotiation we landed on a fair price. Most of their work was very good. We had an area in the bathroom that needed to be retextured then painted. This was most challenging of the work and it was completed to perfection. There were also a few patches in the garage (same idea) that were done very well by the same painter (the most talented of the crew). In the kitchen were a few baseboards (made of MDF) that needed to be filled and on his 2nd visit Jeff went out of his way to pickup some caulk and touch up. I do VERY much appreciate the effort to fix... that said, from a process standpoint I wish the fill had been addressed on the first visit noting you'd ideally have the caulk dry for some time before painting over it. Again, its not perfect but it does look better than before. Our kitchen island needed a few touch ups on the bottom as well. While the chips have been painted over it does look like more sanding was required for a smoother finish. Ok result not great. Lastly, a wall in our guest room had a mirror hanging on it. My assumption was the painters would remove the mirror to paint the area. Unfortunately, they just painted around it. As a result, we have uneven paint. Jeff repainted some spots they had missed but there is still a noticeable line when the mirror is removed from the wall. It likely won't be an issue when hanging but from a perfectionists standpoint, I don't like knowing the discoloration/ visible line exists under the mirror. Overall, fair pricing, pleasant crew and good work. Would very much recommend but would also encourage clear communication on requested work and desired expectations. Thanks again to Jeff!!

I contacted Coats of Quality/Michael needing a room painted. We scheduled a visit for him to see…read morethe room and discuss paint, etc. for a quote, the price seemed fair to me and we went from there. He showed up promptly and began work. The job took longer than estimated, but I did not mind that as I prefer a job well done over a job done quickly. That said, after being out for a few hours to let the paint dry, upon inspection I did note some spots on the walls and ceiling that had not been covered/were missed. Nothing major, but still slightly disappointing. It was also noted that there appeared to have been a slight paint spill which had been cleaned up, but still left paint visible on the carpet fibers. Despite these issues, the overall work was good and the old darker colors did not show through the new. I reached out to Michael regarding these issues and he was apologetic and understanding, taking my concerns seriously and offering other service to make up for it. All in all, I am relatively happy with the service provided and would be willing to give Michael another try in the future if I need painting done.
