Don't go to this Wake Forest location! The rudest lady I have ever seen in my life. I really don't understand how this place is still in business with the poor customer service. I had an amazing experience with this location. I went in to pick up my order and the lady that took my order was patient and kind and provided excellent customer services. I was concerned becasue I had to travel to deliver the arrangement and they went over and above to ensure the large arrangment was ready for transport. The designer was excellent. The family loved the arrangement. I went back again and the customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend this location. read more

Ordered an arrangement for Mother's Day and much the same as a lot of the other reviews the flowers were brown and looked to be decaying, strawberries were over ripe and pineapple was hard and barely edible. Wish I had done more research on which location I was ordering from. Call the location and they stated I could bring them in but it was normal? Granted I'm 50 have never ordered brown flowers that were normal and I know over ripe fruit. What a joke. I place an order for pickup at 4pm. I showed up at 4:15 the door was LOCKED. I saw instructions to ring the bell... I rang the bell... the lady in the back ignored me. I waited, figured she didn't hear the bell and rang again... nothing. Does the bell work? I rang again and again, she left me outside in the rain for several minutes. I clammed the store phone, a man answered and said he would call her to tell her to open the door. She finally strolls out and looks at me like I was inconveniencing her. I told her I had an order and that it would ride to ignore me. She told me she is glad her parents raised her better or she would tell me off? REALLY!?! I told her LADY... I paid for my order and I want my order, not this drama. She wanted to argue more so she did. I had to tell her again I just WANT MY ORDER! She asked my name three times before she finally went to the frig and retrieved my order. What a RUDE BEEAATCH!! Never again giving them my business. read more

Until recently, I had only received products from this location before as gifts and can vouch that they are yummy! I needed to send some sort of item to a friend after returning home from the hospital and thought, what could be more fun than a bouquet of fruit... with chocolate!!!! The process was easy, I ordered it online, choosing the Wake Forest location because it was the closet to me, and to the recipient. I ordered the bouquet from a plethora of choices available to me. I added a balloon to the order, easy peasey. I received confirmation via email that it would be delivered the same day. Around 5:30pm, I had not heard that it was delivered so I called the store. I was told that the driver was delayed due to traffic and would be delivered. Soon after, I did receive notification that it was delivered and that the item arrived beautifully and tasty. My only issue is that if it was going to be later than normal business hours, I wish I would have been notified, but the website says that they will deliver until 7pm, so I cannot complain much about that. I stopped by on a Sunday when it was supposed to be open. Door Sign and website says 12-5pm on Sunday. It wasn't even 4pm. Locked and dark. Apparently they don't want business or to honor their info. I can see if there was a reasonable issue but no note in the door indicating as such and from reading other reviews, sound like not the first time. read more

I asked for "am" delivery as the recipients were teachers at the school Directly behind this location. I called Edible Arrangements at 11am insure item would be delivered in the am. I was told yes, it would be. I called the school at 12pm to see if arrangement had been delivered, it had not. So I called Edible arrangements to see when it would be delivered and they said by 2pm. I stated it needed to be sooner than 2pm because the recipients were teachers and I wanted them to enjoy it before school let out! For the amount of money these arrangements cost plus the fact that the shop is within walking distance of the school, leaves little room for this type of error. read more

I live in the Chicago area, but needed to have the edible arrangement delivered in the North Raleigh area. I did not pick the store. Just placed the order, online, for one box of chocolate-dipped strawberries AND a balloon to be delivered on a certain day. The recipient called me to say she got three boxes, only one of which was addressed to her. So, she had to call the shop, which said they'd send someone back to pick up the other two boxes. (I hope those two people got their order.) I asked about the balloon. No balloon. So, I called Edible Arrangements' customer care number, entered my order number and was automatically connected to the shop that filled the order. The person who answered said that the order was, actually, filled by the Wake Forest store, but that the store that got my call was taking the calls for the Wake Forest store. They were sorry about the errors, and asked if I wanted the balloon delivered late or a credit for the price of the balloon. At that point, the surprise having passed, and delivery of a single balloon, after-the-fact, being ridiculous, I asked for the credit. The person who took the call said she was not authorized to give credit. She would have to talk to her manager and call me back in a couple of minutes. Two days later, and still no call back. So, rather than call the local store, I spoke with a service rep at Edible Arrangements' national customer service line, where, they say, their goal is to "WOW you". That customer service person called the shop, and reported back: (a) They say, "Sorry for the error and for no call back." They lost the message. (b) They will either deliver the balloon -- now, 2-days late -- or give me a credit for the balloon they did not deliver. (c) They will give me a $10 store credit if I ever order from this store again. As if that is going to happen. They WOWed me, in the sense of "WOW! I cannot believe how much trouble this was!" And, "WOW! I will never order online from Edible Arrangements again!" read more

I would use caution using this location! Thier customer service is HORRIBLE! I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my husbands place of employment on October 19. He came home and I learned that he had not received it. When I called I was told that it was delivered to a guy named Gary C (full name withheld) in the parking lot. Gary told the delivery person that my husband had left for the day (this was 45 minutes berfore my husband had left work). Seriously?? the parking lot? Well... no one by that name works where my husband works! I called back and was told to find Gary so that I could locate the arrangement. SERIOUSLY?? So the next day my husband went on a search to the local businesses and did find the arrangement in one of their refrigerators. UPDATE 02.16.12: I wanted to take a moment to update on the following. The order was received in excellent shape yesterday around Noon. Packaging and fruit looked great and are delicious. The manager apologized for the delay andf offered us a discount due to the delay in the order. I am moving my review from one star to three stars. I would give this store another shot, perhaps on a holiday not quite as busy as Valentine's Day! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wow...What a disappointment. I tried to do something different for Valentine's Day this year and it was a failure. I placed an order for my wife and two kids the week before the holiday. I figured, "better than candy, or flowers that will end up in the trash." I had my wife stay home all day expecting a delivery that never showed. I called the store at 6:30p in the evening and was forwarded to another number where I left a message. I tried the store again 15 minutes later and got a live person, only to be put on hold for 20+ minutes and ultimately hung up on. I tried again, and an gentleman answered the phone. Believe it or not, this is where most of my disappointment comes in... I inquired about my order and was told that "We are extremely busy, we have 600+ orders in here, we are backed up and there is going to be a lot of disappointed people!" I asked, "Is this going to be delivered today?" I was told that they will delivering until 8:30 or 9:00pm. When I mentioned that I will cancel the order if it is not received by 9:00p, I was told that no discounts would be offered, or refunds will be given. When pressed for delivery on the 15th, he could not even guarantee me that. The thing that bothers me most is that at no point in time was an apology offered, or any attempt at a concession made. Horrible store customer service. I ordered a platter to be delivered to my mother for Mother's Day. Explicit instructions were given (and acknowledged) to please contact her to make sure of a day during the week of May 6 she would be home to receive delivery. This was NOT done and when delivery was attempted, she wasn't at home. The store manager refused to speak to me, the owner "wasn't there", and the clerk was extremely rude. Another member of the family had to drive to the store to pick up the platter and the store refuses to refund my money for delivery fee. This failure is on the store, not the customer. Then I was hung up on by the clerk because "a customer walked in the store". Hello? I AM A CUSTOMER TOO!!!! Do not EVER use this store. read more

For Mother's Day I received an arrangement and it was apparent it was in the freezer. Not cooler. Freezer. The fruit was frozen. The strawberries were mush. The melons were hard. This is the second time I have received fruit from edible arrangements that the fruit was inedible. Very disappointed. It was my Mom's Birthday. I needed something right away because what I originally sent never came! I called everywhere asking them to help me, they were either closed or closing soon. Edible Arrangements in Wake Forest was the last one and was the BEST! They were walking out the door. I explain what happen and that I needed it today. The manager felt bad for me. She made a beauitful, delicious bouquet of fruit even with some outragious chocolate covered banana's and strawberries, and the number 60 made out of pineapple above the arrangemnt. She arrived on our doorstep hour and a half later with my Mom's arrangement and balloons. We were so impress by the delivery I never even thanked her. She stayed late to do this for me, and went over 10 miles out of her way home. This is a person that cares about their customers and their customers needs.
