The tall ceilings make the store feel open. The store is organized by product. Buff City Soap sells plant-based products. Laundry detergent is what they are known for. It is powder-based, and you can add a scent to it. They also sell soaps, candles, lotions, body butter, body scrubs, and oils. Some of the products sold already have a scent and others are sold where you can add a scent. Throughout the store are testers where you can smell the various scents to see what you prefer. The prices seem on the higher side. The store didn't seem well-stocked and could use more products on the shelves. I did not care for the bath bomb party. It seemed quite disorganized, and they booked two parties back-to-back. The area we had to work in was tight. I wouldn't take another class here.

Instead of pointing me to the direction where I can find my products, she took me to a far right front corner of the building & asked me to sit on a silver chair while she collects all my items. She comes back with a lot of "testers", then started applying them on my face. I explained I haven't worn make up in nearly 20yrs, she continued to apply the stuff on my face, then pulls out one of the brushes from her apron. Which had a horrible smell, I asked if it was safe to use the brush she said yes (I hope they clean their brushes between customers. I honestly don't think she did, cause the brushes looked used) . She said she was going to find lipstick perfect for my shade & will be right back. While she did that I got off the chair, & she saw me & insisted I sit & relax. I said I'm fine. It was taking her a long time so I wandered.. She was on her phone facing one of the shelves as if she was looking, but was on her phone. Well in addition to the lipstick she brought back items that were not on my list... i would not go back nor recommend this place. I ended up going to ULTA in North Raleigh (Poyner Anchor Ln) returned all the items I bought from them & got the items I needed. Their service was so much better & they used disposable items & knew what they're doing! I was in & out and felt good with no pressure or stress.

I came in here of hope to sell my baby's clothes, and they were infants girls clothes I had a whole box full, and I filled out the sell form and asked for an eta and they told me later that afternoon, so I waited in the parking lot and the stores nearby, I waited three hours just to be told they can not buy any of my items bc the were not taking infants clothing at the time. Mind you my daughter who I was holding, still an infant, was obviously selling my infants clothing, there was no indication of them saying they weren't taking any infants clothes and they failed to inform me as well. Next time please inform your customers before they wait hours on a very hot day in the parking lot before you tell them you aren't even gonna buy the clothes. Nothing about this experience was kind. Horrible experience, won't be coming back.
