I always thought giving an Edible Arrangement was not worth the price for what you get - but I was wrong! A friend had a loss in her family and I wanted to give condolences especially during this terrible time of COVID-19. I went on the website and was impressed on how easy it was to order, along with all of the options. The website is user friendly and includes different occasions to help you find your perfect selection. I settled on the "Peace & Dove Daisy" arrangement - there are two arrangement sizes, Regular or Petite. I went with the petite and the picture on the website looked pretty small but I decided the thought is what counts. You can upgrade your gift with cookies, balloon, popcorn, etc. You can also upgrade to a sympathy card in lieu of a normal message with your arrangement. The store was able to deliver the arrangement next day and delivery was free. My friend sent me a picture of the arrangement and again, I was impressed how full and delicious it looked - even for the petite size! She was very appreciative of the gift and said everything was tasty. Made my day that I could give her a tiny bit of joy during a sad time. They had delivered my gift a day early since they no longer deliver on Sundays and offered an additional free gift to make up for it. Disgusting product (see photo) and worse customer service. Lost my sister and a friend sent me an edible arrangement. This was recieved on Thursday. It's now 3 days later and there is mold all over the arrangement. I'm attaching a photo. In short, the fruit had to have been old to begin with to go bad so quickly. Absolutely gross. When I contacted the store and spoke to Prince he told me to bring it in and they'd see what they can do but without it they couldn't do anything. I explained I didn't have time with everything going on and said he couldn't do anything. You'd think they'd immediately send another over since they had record of delivering it and its was just a few days ago but not the case. Really gross and disappointing. read more

My boyfriend who lives in Chicago, bought me an edible arrangement for Valentine's Day, he paid EXTRA to get it to me on Valentine's Day for a surprise gift. Once he never received a thank you from me, (Since I never got my gift and I didn't know about it!) he asked me if I didn't like his gift, and my response of course was, "What gift..?" We then figured out that they just never delivered it to me. As someone who works in the food business, I understand that mistakes happen, but own up to your mistakes and at least call, email, or even leave a letter saying that you're sorry for not delivering your product. We are very disappointed and will be trying to get ahold of them again tomorrow. read more

We ordered an arrangement with strawberries, pineapple flowers, pineapple hearts, grapes, melon and honey dew. Then we added FULL chocolate dipped strawberries AND chocolate dipped bananas. We had it sent for Mother's Day as we are out-of-state. When my Mom sent us a picture of the arrangement I was shocked. There were plain slices of melon, honey dew and a few pineapples and NOTHING else- no strawberries, no hearts or flowers, no grapes and NOTHING in chocolate. The arrangement was literally half empty. My brother called and they manager offered to re-send it (and we agreed to). I am just shocked that they allowed this service in the first place. I recieved a coupon for chocolate covered strawberries, I submitted my order and put specific instructions in the notes, I was worried that they would not be ready because I asked to pick up right at opening because it would be on my way to work and I didn't want to be late. Just noticed that this branch of Edible Arrangements has the worst reviews of any in South Eastern Michigan. I've only used them once, but they only have 1 chance to make a first impression. Their prices (as with all Edible Arrangements) are outrageous, but I assumed the quality would be great, they are only 2 miles from my wife's office, so the delivery would get there early and she could share with her coworkers. It wasn't there by lunch, so I had to call them to remind them to deliver it (they ran it right over after being reminded) and I ordered a balloon, but they forgot to include it. So, my impression is they really don't take service very seriously, they put in very minimal effort and again at these prices ... ... they sure aren't worth it!!!!!! read more

We called a couple days before valentine's day to see if they did strawberries in white chocolate. the girl said yes they do they could be ready in 10 minutes. So the day Before we called to order them and a guy said they don't have time to do them for Valentine's Day because they didn't have any white chocolate there. why does everyone think that everyone just likes milk chocolate? There are actually people who cannot eat milk chocolate but would still like some strawberries. I ended up getting the melting chocolate and the strawberries from the fruit market and they were perfect and this is what I'll do from now on. I ordered 6 dipped strawberries and 4 dipped cookies for my dad that had been stuck in the hospital for over 2 months. When the delivery came they were missing the cookies. I placed an order for a Valentine's bouquet to be delivered yesterday for my daughter, as I'm out of town for work. Despite getting her hopes up in anticipation of her surprise delivery, nothing was ever received. I called the store this morning, they confirmed that the order was never sent, without any explanation or offer of apology. They are suggesting to reschedule the delivery for today, so clearly this business was the wrong choice for sending a meaningful sentiment for the holiday. read more

I was not impressed with their customer service. The receipient of my gift received inaccurate emails regarding the delivery of his gift and contacted me. Instead of being a gesture of thanks it became a nuisance and inconvenience for him. When I called edible arrangements to discuss the issue, I was basically told that there was nothing they could do because it was not an issue on their end. I was sending an Edible Arrangement for someone's birthday who had been dealing with sick children for several weeks. She was so surprised by the gift and started crying when she received it. I was so happy, but also found out that I had sent enough Edible Arrangements that I was entitled to a free gift box which was really a treat for me. I used the Woodhaven, MI location for this order. I sent a bouquet to a business associate as a surprise gift. When the delivery person arrived he was told the person was on vacation for the week. They called me to ask if I wanted to reschedule but I was away from my phone. So they didn't deliver it. When I finally called later that afternoon they offered to deliver it the following Monday at no additional charge. Now THAT's great customer service. read more

I talked with Phyllis today after my family notified me that the Mother's Day arrangement I had told them was coming didn't arrive. The delivery company left a hang tag and my Dad tried to call both numbers that were left with no success. Phyllis was very helpful in resolving the issue and making sure my Mom knew I DID in fact remember Mother's Day! I appreciate the time it took to resolve the problem. I use Edible for birthdays, holidays, moving in gifts, baby gifts...all kinds of things and I was seriously rethinking that before I spoke with Phyllis today. She renewed my faith in Edible Arrangements-though I will always check the tracking number in the future just to make sure items are delivered! read more

The manager Jeni come in to the gas station I work at and convinced me to fill out an app there.. I did and she kept telling me I would get more hrs and trying to convince me to quit my other job which I didn't (thank god). I feel she used me for the mothers day holiday as an extra head to make sure her job was done so her boss wouldn't yell at her. Anyways after the mothers day holiday she told me I wasnt doing good enough when there was only 4 ppl doing arrangements 2 were managers.. she said they did better than me. Idk how she expects ppl to learn anything with 30 plus ppl there and she has u jump around from making baskets to skewering melon or strawberries than to dipping fruit right in the middle of making a basket. I worked there for mothers day when I could have been visiting my children who I don't see all the time instead I was there making sure her job was done. Than she asked well I can call u back for the other holidays.. why to use me than too? Make me do that instead be with my family. No thanks I'm good. Because of the experience I had working there. Made a few arrangements that had bad berries cuz they didn't dip any that day. And ppl were in there waiting for their arrangements. Guy came in who lived 2 miles from store who they never delivered his arrangement for his wife and she had said oh that was suppose to be changed to not delivered in computer. Like wow really. Can't even get ur drivers to get that delivered. I would never order from there.. ppl would eat fruit and not change their gloves after. Gross! I received two dozen chocolate dipped strawberries for Mother's Day from my children. Both boxes had half rotted strawberries under the chocolate....probably threw out or had to cut apart at least 12 of the 24 berries. Very disappointing. I called customer service, they offered to replace the order or give a refund. I am waiting for a new shipment to give them the benefit of the doubt. Very disappointed. This was my 3rd time ordering here and prior to this things were ok. I ordered a bouquet for a close friend whose father had passed. I selected a $50 bouquet and added on another $30 in chocolate covered fruit thinking this would make a reasonably impressive bouquet. It wasn't. They switched out the fruit that would have come with the $50 bouquet and put my $30 fruit in there instead. So I paid $80 for the $50 bouquet just to get a few pieces of chocolate covered fruit. The fruit had rinds on it-sticking out from underneath the chocolate. One piece had something blue/green on it. Not sure what that was. Maybe ink from a marker? The woman at the counter was unfriendly and treated me like a nuisance when I went in to pick up my order, so I didn't bother to complain to her as it was obvious she wasn't there to actually HELP customers. I sent an email to the store manager and have not heard back. Next time I will get flowers or Cookies By Design. They do not care about their customers and apparently don't care about repeat business. If a business doesn't care about returning customers, do not expect quality or customer service.
