I had ordered it at 8am. It said it was 2 stops away, but said that for about 15 mins on my track order. I called the store at 5pm and they were closed. I was hoping my loved ones birthday basket and sweets would make it there today. Then the rain started. It was thundering. Lightning and a real mess. Terrible experience: I think it's great that this store has such great reviews - especially those regarding their "excellent" customer service. I did not have a great experience dealing with this locations' team. In short, four days ago I placed an order to have an arrangement delivered to my 97-year-old grandmother who is battling cancer. I learned after reaching out to the store my order had been flagged. The first employee I spoke with (I believe her name is Caroline) told me they were having trouble with payment, so I did what any rational forward-thinking human being would do and called my bank. I learned the payment was successfully processed Saturday. I also called Edible Arrangements customer service line to further inquire since the employee at the Pearland store told me the order was flagged by corporate only to find out that corporate did not see any issues on their end. Finally, after four phone conversation and hours of waiting I received an offensive phone call from the store manager, Tara. She obviously wasn't prepared for the call (she was reading notes while talking to me) and she had the audacity to interrogate me regarding my order! She also said "someone else must have your credit card information" because "someone else signed for it." That's interesting since I placed the order online where signatures ARE NEVER required. Another employee, Dee Dee, offered to add the numbers 97 and a chocolate pop (didn't ask for this and it didn't change the way this whole ordeal made me feel, but I accepted.). Below is a picture of what was delivered for just short of $100. You'll notice there's a ton of condensation and the extras offered are not there. The balloons I paid for were also missing!! Great customer service and beautiful, delicious arrangements! If you're looking for something unique and delivered that isn't a bouquet of flowers, try an Edible Arrangement! I've had several delivered to me and have always enjoyed them. It's a nice gift that can truly be consumed by the recipient, rather than enjoyed for a while and then discarded. They only have one delivery person, so that can get kind of difficult, especially if they're busy. I waited all day for an arrangement, but had to leave (it was my birthday). I was told by the giver that I was to expect a delivery, but it never came. Of course, when I was out, I got a phone call saying that they were at my house and it couldn't be delivered. Since it was perishable and needed refrigeration, they couldn't leave it on the doorstep. We didn't know our neighbors that well to ask them to take it, so I ended up having to meet the delivery person at the shop. It turns out I wasn't able to make it back to Pearland in time, so asked if my sister if she could pick it up before they closed at 5 (this was a Saturday). It all worked out in the end. When my parents retired, my out of state sister ordered an arrangement for them. I picked it up and the woman in the shop gave me a nice box to surround the ceramic base. I thought that was a thoughtful touch because it would have been unstable in the car. Even though it's a franchise, it's still a local business. I paid over a hundred dollars plus a delivery fee and it came when his 86th birthday was almost over. Very unhappy and will never use again. I ordered a $62 birthday wishes basket yesterday. I specifically asked for delivery earlier in day and they said no promises on exact time but they would make a note for the driver. I called 4 times during the day. The first time they said we are working on it. 2nd time they said our delivery van broke down and drivers are having to use their own cars. 3rd time they said we have 50 orders and I reminded them they charged me an extra $15 to deliver to RoSharon (very close by). I was told it was not extra that they always charge $15 for delivery. 4th time the girl I had been speaking to passed me to the manager who said - we have 2 for RoSharon area- we will get to it. It is now 7 pm and they close at 7. No email, text, or call and I have no idea - $83.00 later -what is going on. This was a special birthday arrangement for a special person from 3 of us. I ordered an arrangement for my husband for Valentine's Day a couple days prior. It was so easy! I picked out everything online and they delivered it for me, with everything just as I ordered it. The only downside to the delivery is that they have a time window of 8am-8pm and cannot get any more specific than that, but even in saying that, mine was delivered around noon. I always send Edible Arrangements to families before funerals. It is perfect to pick at during a time people really don't feel like eating. This last time, the Pearland store tried to deliver and leave with the neighbors, but no one was home, but they would arrange a time with the family for the next morning. However, the associate at the store realized it was on her way home and went over and beyond to call and make that extra stop so the family could have this token of comfort the night before the funeral. Absolutely worst experience I've ever had. Evelyn, one if the employees at this location has no clue when it comes to customer service. We placed an order (over $120)on Monday at 4 pm to arrive at our house the following day for my sisters birthday and today (the day after her birthday) the order has still yet to arrive. We called yesterday at 6 pm to ask about when it would arrive and they said they were just now making it and it would arrive by 9 pm. Needless to say it never came. We called again around 7 and they said its out for delivery. So we waited around for it. Once again, never came. We called this morning and they said they tried to deliver it once and called and didn't get a response. We were home all day and have dogs who will bark as soon as someone pulls in the driveway so I know for a fact they did not try to deliver it. When we called again at 5 pm today they said they remade it and it left to be delivered at 2 pm and also said they tried to deliver it 3 times with no success. Well once again it never showed. Now Evelyn is saying that they tried to deliver it "several" times and went ahead and told the delivery driver to just bring the order back to the shop and just give us a refund. I can guarantee that we will never use this edible arrangements shop ever again. If I could give them zero stars, trust me I would. read more

Who was no help what so ever and on top of me not receiving my order she had an attitude when I wanted my refund. When I asked what happened their excuse was that they could not find the address(understandable) also we called no one answered (understandable as well). So my question was, "Why did you not call more than once if no one answered?" Melanie's response was " So, why didn't you call back?".. Excuse me.. You have a paying customer and you give attitude when questioned about your service? That is no way to do business.. Then when asked can I speak to a supervisor she hangs up in my face?
