I sent an arrangement to a local business manager for always taking such good care of me, my family and my friends when we visit his restaurant. The website was easy to navigate and the recipient said the fruit was very fresh and the arrangement was attractive. I also SPECIFICALLY chose roses as they're safe around cats. But NOOO they decided to give me the most poisonous flowers for cats and ignore the RIVETING R-O-S-E-S title of THEIR product. Save yourself the $60 and go buy a dozen roses from the store for $15 and make your own chocolate covered strawberries for $10. What's the point of being able to deliver someone a gift for their birthday if you're not even going to be competent enough to do your job. Fruit was bad and hard I got a fruit basket with flowers for my mom just because and she said you need to get your money back the fruit it rotted and flowers are old. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered on August 1st. I received a text message at 1:50 pm on August 1st saying the order was out for delivery. I called the store around 3:45 pm to get an update and the lady I spoke to name Catherine or Katherine said the order was still at the store. I asked her why I would receive a text message saying the order was out for delivery when it was still at the store. She had no idea. Since they didn't deliver on the day, I asked for I asked them just to deliver the next day. On August 2nd I went to the store around 8:50 am knowing they didn't open until 9 am. I work around that area so I thought it would be easier to just pick up the order. At 9 am no one was there to open the store. The young lady did not arrive to open the location until 9:27 am. I went inside the store at 9:32 am to pick up the order and didn't leave out until 9:39 am. There was no one else in the store and evidently the order was not ready. She took a while in the back getting the order together. The young lady was very nice and pleasant this morning. But this is the last time I will every order from this location. I am very disappointed with the service I received. After I picked up the order, I received an email saying the order was delivered. NO IT WAS NOT I HAD TO PICK IT UP A DAY LATER. The team there really made my husband's birthday surprise special. He was called to a job site at the last minute. The team was able to get his chocolate cake and balloon to him. I called the job to let them know a delivery was coming and not to tell him. He was so happy and proud to get his gift. NEVER EVER and I mean NEVER use the Edible Arrangement's off of Liberia Avenue Manassas, Va. they are truly awful. Shelby ordered me an arrangement for Mother's Day and it was truly the worst. The fruit was aweful and they forgot the balloon that she paid for. I tried reaching out to them for 4 days and was told the manager was not in. So I called corporate. The resolution from corporate and the store was I could come pick up 6 chocolate covered strawberries (which I did). When I got them I opened the box and was disappointed again. Of the strawberries there was only two that would have been acceptable. The rest were as small as a Jax ball. To make matters worse when I went in the store the person I talk to told her name (which was the name of the manager). But she told me they're are not to use their names. Unacceptable. I paid $153 for a large sympathy arrangement to be delivered to a dear friend today. This is how it came; smeared chocolate on all the apples and all white chocolate melted from top of doves. Sloppy arrangement. Called the store during normal business hours, no answer. My order arrived on 2/14 as requested. However, the order was missing the Edi Bear and the personalized greeting card. The recipient was told by the delivery person that they would be back with something they had forgotten but they never came back. To make matters worse, she was given a card that had inappropriate messaging for our relationship which was embarrassing. Further, when I called the store on 2/14 I could not get through to anyone. When I called on 2/15, I spoke with someone who told me that a manager would need to call me back. I asked when the manager would call and was told that I would get a call within 2 hours. I never heard back from anyone. On 2/16, I called and finally spoke with the manager. She told me that she needed to speak with the delivery team because she did not see a picture of the delivery. I am still awaiting her call back. However, she also said that they would not refund the delivery fees. I find this unacceptable. What was supposed to be a nice gesture has now become a headache. I wish i had read all the other negative reviews of this location before spending $131 for this terrible service. Definitely do not go to this location. read more

At one point in the afternoon it said the order was out for delivery. Then, a few hours later and WELL AFTER THE LOCATION WAS CLOSED FOR THE DAY, it updated the status to say the order was being arranged. $75, including a $15 delivery fee, just so these criminal losers could screw up a holiday for my 82 year old dad. Mother's day was terrible. I purchased a $54.99 fruit bouquet. After getting it home a hair was wrapped around 4 or so pieces. Upon closer inspection several pieces of pineapple appeared to be rotted. The honey dew was in poor condition and the cantaloupe had rind still attached. The overall quality was very poor. I walked into the Liberia Ave. store to place an order at 4:40 pm. The clerk said we are closed and pointed to the clock on the wall set for 5:20 pm. (The wall clock was set ahead by 40 minutes). The correct time was 4:40 pm. She was unwilling to wait on me. She told me to go on line to place an order. I did not argue, I left in amazement. I placed an order online before Valentine's Day to have the order delivered to Dale City, Va, for Valentine's Day, and somehow this store ended up with the order. If I could give them a 0, I would; this store is not even worth a 1 star. Not only did my gift not get delivered on time, but it was also delivered 48hrs later. Although they said they had delivered the gift, it was not. I had to put in 4 different claims via edible arrangements corporate and made multiple Twitter claims and a BBB complaint. This store said they delivered it a second time. Still, nothing, and then a third try, and they not only not follow attention to detail to the delivery directions, but they left the gift outside the door of a leasing office, not the assigned apt they also delivered rotten fruits. This store should not be in business, and it may be all fun and games for them until it's not. I also tried to reach the store directly, but they do not pick up the phone. I ordered an arrangement for my kids for Valentine's Day, pickup scheduled for 1pm. After 3:30ish I decided to call and see if it was ready for pickup and it took me approximately 30 minutes to get someone to answer. I was placed on hold several times for an excessive amount of time. I assumed it was because they were busy for Valentine's Day. Then they finally came back they said my order was ready. Great, I head over to pick it up. When I got there it was not ready. I waited an additional 5-10 minutes for them to hand me my platter without the card or anything. I had to request the card. While waiting for that I look at my platter that I paid $70 for. It was supposed to have Swizzle Berries and it did not and the pineapple doves looked awful, almost like they poured white chocolate on top and and threw it on the platter. A gentleman came out from the back while I was addressing this with the cashier and he was very nice. I told him the issues and he said to give him 20 minutes and they'd fix it. When I picked the "fixed" platter I just took it and left as I was already very frustrated. When I got home and opened the platter it was awful. I should have saved my money and made them myself. Ordered for delivery for Father's Day and it never got delivered. Placed the order 3 days ahead. When I tracked the delivery they just updated it at 5pm on date of delivery that my arrangement was being made. I waited until 7:30 pm and had to cancel bc my husband was going to bed. All calls to the local store went unanswered the morning/afternoon of and all calls to the 800 number hung up on me after answering! Will never do business with Edible Arrangements again. They used to be good but over the years the service has gone downhill. Manassas location, from what I have read through here is notorious for not answering calls and not making their deliveries and I wish I knew that so I could avoid them. I did get a refund the next day so that's the 1 star I gave. Ruined Father's Day for us since I am away on military orders and wanted to do something special for my husband but instead stressed the whole day just trying to get ahold of someone-- anyone! Wegman's makes better and bigger chocolate covered strawberries so I would suggest to get it there instead and make your own. read more

They tried to deliver, but she wasn't home. Rather than call her phone number, which I put on my order, they called me in Alabama and left a message that they were taking the arrangement back to their office. They also left a card at my mom's door asking her to call them to reschedule delivery. She called, and they said it had already been delivered!!! My mom called me upset over this. I called the store and they INSISTED it had been delivered. I assured them they were incorrect and they reluctantly said they'd make another arrangement and deliver it. While I appreciate the update of the new owners, it hasn't helped. In October 2011 I and ordered 24 chocolate covered strawberry "roses" on my anniversary in an effort to give the store another chance (yes, sucker!). My nanny picked them up, not knowing she only had one dozen. I called Sam several times, never got a call back. I ultimately had to dispute the charge on my card since they didn't deliver what I ordered. Haven't been back and have diverted several dozens of friends and family from using them. We've found great alternatives locally and online with MUCH better customer service. Save yourself the hassle and just go elsewhere. Sam and company just don't care. read more

The answer machine is full and I can't get in contact with anyone. All I want to do is cancel an order and for whatever reason that seems to be a hassle. Hubby got me a Large Hello Kitty Edible Arrangement for my birthday yesterday! The store did a good job w/ the arrangement and the fruits were fresh and sweet! The only thing I would point out is that the 3 Hello Kitty-shaped pineapples were not visible when it came. They were all placed way down inside. I'm glad there was a Hello Kitty stake and a Hello Kitty container or it wouldn't look like a Hello Kitty arrangement. read more

I had placed my order online on 02/12/14 for delivery on 02/14/14 (Valentine's Day) before 5PM because it was going to a business. This is my first time ordering from the Edible Arrangement company. I found the website very informative and pricing good for my budget. I called the store itself on the morning of 02/14/14 around 11AM to ask if all deliveries were running on time today because of the winter weather we got the two days before and the fact that it was Valentine's Day. The lady I spoke with on the phone was very nice said yes all deliveries are on time and our delivery guys were out early this morning with all orders. I said too her great I was worried about the weather and the timeliness of deliveries today and she said nope we are good with all deliveries today. I thought great! If deliveries were running behind or not going to get there at all I would of picked up my order that day and delivered myself instead of paying the extra $12.00 for a delivery. I checked the status of my order around 3PM online and it stated (creating my order or working on my order). I checked with a friend that worked at same business as recipient and asked if it had arrived yet and they said no. And in fact my arrangement never did arrive. I tried to speak with someone at the store from 3-6PM and it rang busy. I then called the 800 number a little before 5PM and complained that the recipient never did receive the order that day. Customer Service said they would send my feedback to the store and process my refund since it was after the promised 5PM delivery time that day. Today is 02/18/14 well over 48 hours since my feedback was sent to the store and as of yet I have not received a phone call, email or anything from anyone at the store or from the 800 number. I called the 800 number once again to follow up on my feedback, order and refund and they called the store and said they are processing my refund. I asked if the store ever explained why my order wasn't delivered and she said no that they would just process my refund. I have never experienced such bad manners and they should of called me on 02/14/14 to let me know that they were running behind on orders. I would of made arrangements to pick my order up. I was so upset in tears that evening that my significant other did not receive his gift and even more upset that someone did not have the decency to call or email me to apologize or simply say they ran into some trouble and can't deliver. I ordered an arrangement for my daughters 21st Birthday, a Kick up your Heels-tini, but when I arrived to pick it up, it was wrong. They told me it was not. I had to show the teens behind the counter what the arrangement was supposed to look like on the website. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for them to "fix" it, they made it worse. All the chocolate they added melted within minutes of leaving the shop. I called and told them it was melting. They said they would make another correctly for pickup the next day at no charge, since they could not/ did not make the arrangements in store. This was my daughters "cake." They did not say it needed to be returned. It looked awful! But I needed something to give her, and I told her it would be correctly remade for the next day. Went to pick up the new one, and it was not made as promised. They said I needed to bring the other back to get a new one made today- this was after they told me they did not/ could not remake in store. I asked for a refund and was told I needed to bring the other back- it was store policy made by the "manager" Zach. I didn't have the ruined one since it was so awful looking! So, I was given an incorrect arrangement, they ruined it by trying to "fix" it, I was promised the correct one the next day, then I was not given the item ordered at all, or my money back. My boyfriend bought me the bouquet of chocolate covered strawberries. I didn't hear the doorbell ring but I got two missed phone calls from them and instantly called her back. She was the sweetest thing and came back to my house within 5 minutes and just had the most fantastic attitude. I guess that's what happens when your job is handing out smiles :) The strawberries are delicious! Definitely going to consider them in the future for my own surprises. Today is Feb.14,2014, I made a order 3 days early to make sure it would be delivered on time. I even took a latter time to have it delivered, 5:00pm. This did not happen. I had to go to the store and pick it up. The lady that took my order on 2/12/14 knew it had not been delivered, and gave me a different order than what I ordered,, but my purpose of ordering early to avoid the mess up, was to no avail. The comment made by your employee was I need to blame GOD, because of the whether. I cannot say enough good things about the people of the Edible Arrangements franchise in Manassas, Va... I called them out of the blue at 8 am and placed and order... It was my first time ever dealing with them and they had the order DONE and DELIVERED IN LESS THAN 3 HOURS... they rushed it and put it on the morning delivery truck for no extra charges....and the arrangement was as close to PERFECT as it could be...(I just wasn't there to share it) In fact, there is another order in my very near future....(that one I will be there for!!) These went through so much trying to help me out when it came a complaint towards the corporate office about an order that was mistakenly directed to woodbridge instead of manassas. I placed an order throught the Call Center and they said it would go to the Manassas store but they didn't send it there but instead to the woodbridge store. The woodbridge store called me to tell me they could not do it and i was upset so i called the call center to fix it but they could not find a solution. finally i called the manassas store the manager was so professional about situation and even gave me a free box of strawberries.
