Located in the "Village at Bedminster" - better known as the "King's Shopping Center" locally -…read moreCold Stone Creamery has been around at this location for at least a couple of years or so. Normally, I prefer to avoid chains, but I had heard good things about CSC so decided to give it a try. They sell a large assortment of items, including shakes, smoothies, yogurt, sorbet...up to elaborate ice cream cakes. We had individual cups this visit. The sizes (from their web site) are: Like It™ - approximately 5 oz. Love It™ - approximately 8 oz. Gotta Have It™ - approximately 12 oz. The server shovels (it's more like a shovel than a spoon) the ice cream onto what looks like a cold cutting board, then spoons in whatever add-ins (one is included in the above three choices, but you can add more) you order, and folds the add-in(s) into the ice cream like kneading bread. The whole process takes a minute or two, tops. The result is a very rich treat, and since the add-ins are folded in rather than mechanically blended, they seem to retain their properties better - in my case, the almonds stayed crunchier. Premium results come at a premium price - the Gotta Have It™ was $6 but I controlled myself and will get a 2nd dessert out of it. An outing for a family of four could easily break $20, so for us it's a special treat and not a regular stop. Fortunately, we're in the E-Club (you give your personal info and get some benefits) and with yesterday being National Ice Cream Day, we printed the special coupon from email and BOGO'd. Being in the E-Club also gets you a birthday treat (I don't recall what it is - probably a small for free?). It looks like they could have outdoor seating, but knowing Bedminster, it's banned (there were no tables out). Seating inside is limited - perhaps a dozen people, tops. I was gonna give it a 3, but it really is good stuff and the servers are nice.

I paid in advance almost $70 for one cake. This was for my daughter's birthday on Sunday. However, when I went to pick it up, there was no cake, but they received the money. The girl behind the counter said they do not have the order for the cake so tell me how did they have the money? The girl gave me back the money, but I'm still have no birthday cake and people are arriving at my house. They had a cake in the freezer much smaller so I asked them for a discount for my inconvenience. They did nothing to rectify the situation of course I walked out of there very very upset now what now? I'm on the runaround to go get a birthday cake , I go to Baskin-Robbins. They have a cake, but they don't write on it. Happy birthday I wind up going to ShopRite and getting a stupid cake and they wrote happy birthday on it. This was an hour and a half out of my day while people arriving at my home and the kids are waiting for birthday cake. I will never ever buy anything from this store and if you don't want to be disappointed, you shouldn't either !!! one thing to make a mistake, but not to make good on , it is a new level of aggravation. I owned a restaurant for many years when something like this happens you have to make it better for the people you have to make good on this. I don't need anything for free, but it would've been nice for them to give me some kind of big discount on another cake which they did not The worst customer service I've ever seen !!

Every layer of the sub was thoroughly planned out with a good amount of each topping. There was a great ratio of the filling to the bread. The bread was the key though. It was soft in the middle, while having a little bite on the outer edge. Most of the condiments were on the side, and I did not even need to add any because of how good and flavorful the sub was by itself. Will I go back? I did not actually attend, but would head there.

It wasn't too busy when we arrived, so we were seated right away, which was a great start. The decor feels a bit old-fashioned, but the dining room was spacious and comfortable, and I appreciated that it wasn't overly loud. Our waiter was patient, attentive, and genuinely lovely. We started with the spinach dip, and that was delicious. For the main, we ordered the half baby back ribs with coleslaw and steamed broccoli. The broccoli and coleslaw were a bit bland, but the ribs...Tenderism! Absolutely tender, flavorful, and easily the star of the meal. Dessert looked nice but honestly wasn't very memorable. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Delicious Heights if you're in the area, especially for the ribs. We enjoyed ourselves and plan on going back.
