After several phone calls to the main office we were able to reach an agreement that seems fair.

I've been going to Dr Sammons for about 20+ years now. The office is beautiful, clean, well…read moreequipped with modern technology, & well staffed with competent people. The level of communication & transparency is superb. They always preapprove & research to give you the best, most accurate price quote, up front. When I go in with the dental hygienist, we discuss any issues, changes, & concerns that I have. Then when Dr Sammons comes in, the hygienist reiterates every item we discussed, which I really appreciate. I have never had a wait, past my appointment time, to be seen. They not only offer routine dental care but also cosmetic dentistry & botox!

This office has made a mess of my account. I would ask if I had a balance at each visit. The…read moreresponse was "we are waiting on insurance". I expressed my concern about getting a large bill. I asked if they were in contact with both insurance companies. I asked if they had my insurance right? (primary/secondary)? It was at the time. Then, in 2025, claims were not sent to my secondary insurance! Then I found claims sent to my primary insurer were coded for D. Sammans as out of network. And then the primary/secondary were switched. I have tried since late 2025 to get straightened out. This has been a nightmare. No resolution as of today. I get the runaround. As for care, I am not sure. Dr. Sammans did an implant for me. There is a small gap between the implant and the next tooth. He looked at it. He did not see one.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this office was by far the worst I've ever…read morehad. My first appointment was on a Monday at 10:00 a.m. I spent five hours in the office, yet the only thing completed was X-rays--even though I had already paid for three services, including what was supposed to be a simple cleaning. Throughout the visit, it was obvious the staff was not communicating with one another. Multiple employees asked me what treatment I was there for, not to verify my information, but because they genuinely didn't seem to know. I returned that Friday for my 12:00 p.m. appointment and wasn't seen until nearly 2:00 p.m. While discussing my treatment plan, the dentist refused to perform a service that I had already paid for. When I questioned it, the finance department told me the decision was mine. However, after I made my choice and paid, the dentist still said no. It made no sense to be told I had a choice only to have that choice disregarded. My cleaning was eventually completed by a different dentist. Most concerning is what happened afterward. I came to this office because an old crown had come off. I had no jaw pain whatsoever before either visit. Since my second appointment, I have had severe jaw pain for the past eight days. When I reached out about it, I was told it was because of the dental work I need or because of a deep cleaning. Neither explanation made sense. My teeth don't hurt, and I did not even receive a deep cleaning. What was even more frustrating was that the person explaining what was supposedly causing my pain was someone from the finance department. With all due respect, someone who handles billing and insurance is not the appropriate person to assess or explain a dental issue. I expected to speak with a dentist or another qualified dental professional. Overall, this office felt disorganized, poorly managed, and lacking communication. Between the excessive wait times, conflicting information, treatment delays, and the complete lack of accountability afterward, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. This is exactly the kind of experience that makes people dread going to the dentist.
