Five tennis courts, all lighted. Courts are adequately spaced and fenced. There are usually players here at night.

Is there picnic tables/bbq grill by the park/b-ball court that you don't have to rent? Is it first come first served?

The softball field here is exceptionally maintained, but that seems to be true of most Foster City fields.

He is not only an exceptional player but also a highly skilled teacher who brings depth, clarity, and strategy to every session. What sets Paul apart is his ability to go beyond basic instruction. He provides clear, actionable feedback that helps you understand not just what you're doing, but why it matters. His communication style is direct and constructive--he tells you exactly what you're doing right, where you need to adjust, and how to move forward. Lessons with Paul are dynamic and engaging, built around live drills and point-based scenarios that simulate real match play. He offers insightful recommendations and areas to focus on between lessons, which makes practice outside of class more productive and targeted. Most importantly, I truly enjoy every session. Paul challenges me both mentally and physically, and I've seen real growth in my game because of it. If you're serious about improving and want a coach who will bring out your best, I can't recommend Paul highly enough.

If it was closer I would join in a heartbeat. Training with Kardelen was never just an hour on the clock. She genuinely cared about me--not just as a client, but as a person. She went above and beyond to create a program that was completely personalized to my body, my goals, and my life. I never once felt like "just another client." If you're a member at the amazing Bay Club, you would be incredibly lucky to have her as your trainer. With Kardelen, you're not a number--you're a person she's fully invested in. And as a bonus... your body will look amazing too

Updated review:…read more Unfortunately, Bay Club Redwood Shores management continues to devalue their memberships. Membership prices continue to increase, while perks are taken away. For example, starting May 1 2025, standard memberships get 2 guest passes per quarter and they now expire the same month they're issued! The locker rooms were partially updated in 2025 (locker units and flooring) but the bathrooms and showers are still original and dated. The weight room has nice new machines although maintenance can sometimes be a bit behind. Some of their cardio machines are in disrepair (stairmasters making noise, out of service) and there are areas of the weight room that aren't cleaned often.

According to the fact sheet, this area is 11.2 acres. There's just large amounts of lawn where you can have an isolated picnic, and it's a fairly long stroll for a neighborhood park. It's cool that it runs next to a mini creek, closer to the residential houses. For sports, there are areas for sand volleyball, basketball, tennis (four courts), soccer, and baseball (which looked well maintained, with bleachers). There's a large playground with tanbark and picnic tables. There is an additional covered pavilion (technically you need to contact a city official to reserve this) with picnic tables and small coal barbecue pits, though they looked pretty rusty and dirty. Next to these tables is this amphitheater-like section. Parking is somewhat in a small lot, but there's street parking all over the perimeter that's readily available. The bathroom size is above average, for a neighborhood park. The main park in Foster City is superior, but this park is not bad if you want more seclusion, in some sense. It's right next to a highly trafficked road, but expansive enough to accommodate many parties without bumping into each other.
