    Sounds like a rain stick

It's a very visually appealing play structure, but my child didn't care about the nice metal flowers or cute bug climbing ramp. Not kid useable. For example, the ramp was hard to climb because of the cute raised characters. Or the interesting sandwich statue doesn't offer any use for play. The neat jumpy pad is inaccessible to parents, so limits a smaller child getting on, which may be good to self select who plays on the possibly bigger kid structure. It's not fenced in. It's far away from any other places, so limits lunch adventures to bringing your own picnic. Maybe we caught the park on an off day, but it seemed the children weren't very friendly. It is very pretty, has unique play features, clean, well maintained, and has a bathroom.

New play structure for little ones. Separate area from the bigger kids structure.

Newly renovated and re-opened mid Nov 2014. A great playground with a sand pit for young ones and older kids too (they will love the giant peanut butter sandwich!) There's a new grass field, running/walking track, basketball court and picnic tables. If you love Burton Park, you'd be thrilled with Crestview Park.

Crestview Park after renovations; basketball and children's play area on right. Cushioned running/walking track in foreground.

Great atmosphere, kids can play while adults can play basketball, frisbee, or run on the grass.

The entrance is down a side alley off of Old County Road so it can be easy to miss. However, once you pull in, there is plenty of parking. There is a big grassy area to run around in and then a playground, separated for little and big kids, but with a connecting gate. Not a huge play structure but good enough for the little ones to burn off some energy. The play area has rubberized floor for safety, tents above the structures for some shade from the harsh cali summer sun, and very light touches of a log-cabin/ wood theme. For younger kids the most dangerous and sometimes fun areas are: -The larger slide, getting to the top is a bit sketchy with a small ladder you have to climb off of to the right instead of straight. The slide itself is almost hilariously tall with lots of bumps and tight curves that seem like they are designed to injure your kid, just look at the pictures. -Wave machine, if your kid is into space and nasa you can get them an early start by jumping on one end of this and launching them into orbit.
