Park hours, 6:00 AM till 10:00 PM. This is hard information to find!
Was a dirty little park, but has been recently spruced up (let's try to keep it clean!).
There is no parking at the "upper" lot pictured in the review by Jennifer L., with the exception of a few handicap spots. The real parking lot is at 280 Wellington Drive or so according to my GPS. Please use this lot which is right above 3rd base on the baseball field.
Tennis court parking is around 320 Phelps on the other side of the park. There is no signage. Go past the school parking lot, and make the first left which is a small one way road into the lot. You exit (one way) through the school parking lot. Please use caution in this whole area as there are often small children in both lots and the area is well patrolled by the local Police (Sheriff). As previously stated, there are often classes going on here so no open courts. Check first for court availability before driving down.
There is about 2.5 miles of trail here to enjoy. Unfortunately, there is a lot of broken glass and dog excrement throughout the trail system. Please clean up after yourselves, and keep this little gem nice for future generations. We will continue the cleanup effort, but every day there is more new trash and dog excrement and we don't have the manpower to do daily 4 hour park cleanings. Within the trail system there are two Geocaches which are fun to look for.
The BBQ pits are all pretty dirty. I see people still using them, but I personally would skip that unless I put foil over the grills or cleaned them first with a wire brush.
Alcohol is not allowed as stated in another review, you need a permit for drinking alcohol here or the approval of the Park and Recs Director. Glass containers are illegal in the park, as is smoking in the parks entirety. Linked below are the laws regarding park use in San Carlos, these are all listed as Misdemeanors (think Lawyer, day in court, and a few thousand bucks if you get charged as a misdemeanor):

I've seen coyote, deer and raccoons at the park. I'm certain there are skunks here since I smell them often. A few bat houses on the main road on the trail system probably help keep mosquitoes at bay. There is also a reported resident Bobcat, which I've never seen. Occasionally you hear of a Mountain Lion report, but not for a year or so. I have only seen one small snake, mildly venomous (not usually harmful to humans). Most likely there are other snakes in the park, including "gopher" and rattle snakes so be cautious as you would in any other "nature" park in the area.
Please keep the gates to the play area closed, and keep your dogs out of that area. Think of it as a haven for little kids who put a lot of stuff and dirty hands into their mouths.
Thank you all for helping keep the park clean! read more
