When we told him the part was broken, he forwarded us a receipt that showed he bought a USED EBAY part for $80, and ridiculously told us to get money back from eBay which is why we have the receipt he sent us and refused to refund us. We have multiple witnesses and recordings to prove he's lying. Do not get SCAMMED. Madison Ave Coach Works owner, Jin Han, is a con artist and does dangerous and horrible work. We were advised to file a lawsuit against them and also file a report with the NJ MVC, & NJ Attorney General's office. Jin scammed and threatened my 70-year-old mother with physical violence, saying that he would break her car mirror. Please read the other reviews that talk about their terrible work and con - they say "New parts" but buy cheap used & incorrect parts instead. My mom needed a passenger side mirror replaced and they installed a USED cracked eBay mirror that they knew did NOT FUNCTION. Mr. Han forced her to pay cash before he gave her the key to see the car. The mirror was the wrong part, it would not move and was so blurry you couldn't see. When we mentioned this, he threatened to rip off the mirror. Since she already paid and was scared, she had no choice and was forced to drive home dangerously with a mirror we couldn't see out of. Later we told him we would report this and he said he would give us a full refund. When we were on our way for the refund, Jin threatened my mom on the phone and said he was going to smash the mirror in front of her if she showed up and would never give back her money. Attached is the receipt from Madison Ave Coach Works, which falsely shows Genuine Lexus Parts quoted for $1,100. We ended up having to get the car fixed elsewhere and they confirmed Madison Ave Coach Works did a hack job, and that it was obvious Jin knew the part was faulty. I don't wish this on anyone, do NOT bring your car here. If you had similar problems like the other negative reviews, know you have rights, report them, and don't let these con artists bully you.

I requested to put back the old part. The old part was damage so it couldn't be put back. George told me that in order for the actuator to work it has to be reprogrammed and that he didn't have the program. He stated to me that it will be cheaper to replace the transmission. I stated to George that the transmission wasn't the problem. I decided to take my vehicle to anther shop. The other shop took just approximately 2 hours to fix the problem. I gave 2 stars because George was very respectful.

He just looks.. and that's it. Then I get a PIECE of paper w/scribbles on it. Can barely make out what it says. He does speak to me about what the issues are but there's NO report whatsoever - no measurements, no readings, no nothing. I needed this report to negotiate with the seller. He won't give it. Worst - he starts getting MAD and starts screaming that I'm asking "too much".. and that i'm bothering him in his busy time, when there was NO OTHER CAR at the time except mine. I keep asking for something more detailed since i'm getting it from a dealer and it's gonna be looked by pros. He tells me to pay additional $150/hr and will give me formal report. Worst part - he is screaming and pestered at 11 AM in the morning on a WEEKDAY. The dealership's sales employee was with me .. and he even screams at this poor guy - for WHAT? I never asked him to talk to the dealer's sale guy. He's mad b/c im asking him to give me more detailed report? All in all, TERRIBLE experience. I've done 3 used car inspections the past month - and by FAR, this was the WORST. Will NEVER EVER go here again. I question all the reviews on this shop.

This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Called them to get a quote…read morefor the work I knew I needed done on my car and was told that it couldn't happen over the phone, but that I had to come down in person. A little strange but ok whatever. Came down and was given a quote, upon leaving realized a service I was going to need wasn't listed so I went back in and they provided me with an updated quote. The part I needed was a specialty part so they told me I would need to come and pay a "deposit" for the part before they ordered. I agreed to that, within 6 days of the date I was given the quote I went to pay the deposit, magically the amount of the part went up by almost $200. I needed the work done so I paid it but noted it as the first red flag. They informed me that the part should arrive by Wednesday (3 business days) which was fine. Wednesday came and when they did not call I called for an update and the part hadn't arrived. Called them the following day and they advised they received the part but it was missing a key piece, that it was being expedited and should arrive the next day. Called the next day (because why would they communicate with their customers) for them to tell me that there was a delay and that it wasn't going to be delivered until the following Wednesday (so a week after the original date I was given.) I immediately was irritated and asked to speak to a manager; I was inquiring as to how that was good customer service and asked that at the very least they honor the original quote that they gave me. I was irritated but was never yelling or cursing at anyone; I kept it very respectful. The "manager" proceeded to tell me that if they honored the original quote they would lose money and they are a business and that's not going to work for them. I was also told that no one "twisted my arm" to pay the additional $200. Twisted my arm huh, never experienced worst customer service in my life. I got the work done with them for no other reason that I was already in $1,000 for parts but please don't go here unless you want to be verbally abused and mistreated.

I have a jeep wrangler so they used my spare tire on the back. I told them beforehand that although the nail was there, I never recieved notification on my dashboard. They also informed me that they were unable to patch/plug it in. they were experts/truly experienced, they would've tested the tire for Air, but instead they swapped out my spare with the "nailed tire" and told me I needed to pay over $300 for a new tire. Andre did the swapping. I just so happened to be passing by another tire shop in the area and they told me that the nail didn't penetrate the tire and that a new tire wasn't necessary at all. They also informed me that had mavis tested the tire, I would've saved time ...and money. Mavis just wanted to make a quick hick instead of retaining a loyal customer. Hate scammers A manager called me today at exactly 2:21 pm and apologized after hearing that happened. Total scammers here !

Which also started with a class action which at the time Toyota was forced to do something about this issue. The TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) suggests replacing the valve with a newly designed part number. But GLEN Toyotas Service dept. feels the bulletin can be interpreted as just replacing the valve with the old susceptible part number, just to kick the can down the road knowing full well I would be back with the same Check Engine Light when the Support Program warranty ends at 100K or 10 Years. And charge me $1000 for a $100 part and 1.4 hours labor. These Service Dept. guys are totally incompetent. Please be well informed when you take your vehicle in for service, because they will rip you off. Terrible dealership is GLEN TOYOTA. Don't just take my word on these guys.
